VN - Ren'Py - NTR Chronicles Group [v11.0] [IHateGray]

If any game deserves 0 stars it's this one. The game is obviously written by AI at this point. The characters can't remember from one text to the next how they felt the last time. Story shifts wildly from loving the MC to just completely abandoning him. His mother literally just disappears from his life without even talking to him after swearing she was going to take care of him. His ex that cheated regretted it and hated it and Shad one update then she's letting the guy move in with her and losing her mind to sex with zero interactions in between. If you've ever played an AI game where you insert dialogue and then the AI fills in the story you know that it loses track of what went on before sometimes and that's EXACTLY how this game feels all the time now. Absolute rubbish.

Edit: OH, and there haven't been any images of sex in this game in like 5 or 6 updates. The girls describe what happened to each other all the time, but all you get is a few R rated selfies while they do it. Dev has officially mailed this one in.

Calling this a romance has to be some kind of sick joke.
Your partner betrays you instantly, and literally every other character treats you like dirt.
It feels like the writer just brainstormed the most depressing scenarios possible and shoved them all in without a plan.
The plot is a total mess with no clear goal, just wandering from one bad situation to the next.
Technically, it’s a disaster too; the chat interface looks nothing like a real phone and is super cluttered.
Sometimes the controls work, and other times the lag is unbearable when you're trying to skip ahead.
You don't even get to make any decisions, so I don't know why they didn't label this as a kinetic novel.
It’s just another generic clone using the same old assets we’ve seen a hundred times before.
And the bugs are ridiculous once you hit the end of the current content, it just weirdly resets to the beginning.
There is absolutely nothing fresh here to justify the download.
It’s a linear, buggy, miserable experience that isn't worth your time.

I tried this latest AI phone game out of curiosity, I wanted to see if it was different from the 100+ games of this type by now, but nothing new, or worse, judging AI graphic art is easy, standard models by now, then nothing, reading the plot with the ending of the game in the premise, I find it practically suicide.

I was skeptical of the 2 star rating so played it. idk.... Torn between 2 and 3, so I'll give it +1 for at least building some intrigue.

Shallow characters. Hilarious dweeb looking MC. Not a very interesting story. One of the most frustrating parts (and I've seen this in other VN/Ren'Py games, so it's not a unique flaw) the data structures need some work: it feels like the whole thing is array based, and executes in O(n) time per chapter, so by the end it's chugging along "I think I can I think I can". Instead... idk... it's almost like it has to search the entire list each time to find the correct position; instead it seems much more efficient to store a local reference to the current position and rather than searching for the next value, increment and read from index so it's constant time O(1) rather than linear O(n) .

Missing the Kinetic Novel tag. Zero choices at all.
Sluttiest wife in any of these games? Fucks your best friend the second he asks while you're hurt from an accident. Everybody hates you.

"Romance" tag? Literally zero romance in the game. Your wife cheats, chooses your Best Friend over you. After that everybody is a slut and you literally have nobody treating you even kind of well. Story is incredibly stupid.

Regrettably, the most defining characteristic of the experience was the narrative's complete lack of coherence. From start to finish, I struggled to grasp what the story was fundamentally about. There was no clear central plot or a compelling goal for the protagonist to pursue. Instead, the narrative felt like a meandering sequence of disconnected events, loosely tied together by character interactions but lacking any overarching direction.

Terrible written characters, story very dumb. As soon as MC finds out that his girlfriend is cheating the game turns into trash.
The girlfriend is fine cheating on him then she wants him back, his best friend threatens MCs girlfriend, Mom and sister are prostitutes and so on. Seems like someone was brainstorming how many bad ideas you can implement.
The images are okayish. Nothing special, doesn't look like a lot of effort went into them but I did not noticed much mistakes.
Technical it's a disaster. Sometimes skipping is smooth and sometimes laggy. It all happens inside a phone but like all chats are together or with a minimal separation. It doesn't feel like you are really using a phone.
After chapter 7 I was surprised why things were familiar. Turns out the game just starts from chapter 1 after you finish the last conversation on chapter 7.

Conclusion:
After 7 chapters I expect much better things than this.

This game has lots of humiliation in it and that's something I normally don't care for, but it is mentioned in the tags so I'm not going to hold that against it.

Content aside the pacing still feels rushed. Chapter one feels like a fast forward just to reach chapter two which bring up one thing I was happy with. The MC actually has some common sense.


Unfortunately, that's where all the game depth ends. None of the characters have any substance at all except for the little bit hinted at by the MC and his mom.

While a part of me wants to think the dev rushed the early stuff to get to the meat of the game, I honestly don't know where it can go from here and develop the characters at this point.

Overall: The UI is simple, but the game is kinetic. The story is very short even with 2 "chapters", art is okay, no animation, and nothing groundbreaking. I wanted an excuse to give it a third star because of the rare MC move but there's not enough to carry it even into a high 2 for me.

I'll still probably check back later out of curiosity just to see how the dev tries to handle the story.

Giving this game anything higher than a 1/5 feels disrespectful to any other game developers. Truly, truly awful. I wouldn't be surprised if this game was also written by AI along with the shitty image generation. Characters literally talk like robots.

The wife is a whore, she gave herself up instantly, just because she is a whore. What's the story here? Where are the worries, the regrets? I wouldn't even be surprised that she'd slept with him before, but then it all came out. What's new here?

Just too short for a 1.0 version (episode 1). It takes around 10 seconds to skip through the linear text. Yes there are no choices and its a infinite text which makes the chat laggy until the end.

The story is pretty irrelevant. A girl is lonely and fucks the MC's best friend like they are already in a relationship. Story ended.

This game takes the "NTR Phone" premise and runs 1,000 miles an hour with it. The wife is fully corrupted within minutes of the game starting.

It's a bit darker than most of these titles, with the MC getting mercilessly cucked while recovering from an accident that has left him bedridden. So avoid if that sounds too heavy for you.

There are only a few images so far but they're above average for an AI game.

My only criticism is that the wife was corrupted too quickly leaving the plot with nowhere to go.

My advice to the developer is to make it burn slower with a more gradual corruption. The private chat function should also be used more.

Yo, just finished Chapter One of this NTR Chronicle game, and damn, it’s a wild ride! The way the chat setup pulls you into Dorian’s headspace while Claire and Shad mess with him is straight-up brutal. The dialogue feels so real, like you’re peeking into a toxic group chat. It’s dark, messy, and hits hard if you’re into psychological drama. Can’t wait to see how much worse this gets!

The creator couldn't have done worse than this, he gave the worst that can be created in a VN, graphically pitiful, there are only two options in the initial menu, but the story is simply horrendous and delirious, everything should be rejected, 5 seconds of my life wasted.

Like too many of these tese group phone chat "games"/kinetic novels like this everything done with no build up.
Even as a NTR fan just not very good.
There needs to be a happy medium of no action and no build up that many chat games don't reach.
