RPGM - Completed - NTR Tales - Adventurer Corruption [v1.0] [Naughty Arcade Studio]

It's an okay-ish RPGMaker game with NTR energy. What more can I say about it? Aside from the fact that it tries a little too hard in some areas and not enough in others. I am honestly glad I pirated this, because I can't really say this is worth an admission price.

The big mechanics are heroine Lust and hero Suspicion/Sanity. The heroine's lust affects the frequency and intensity of H events she gets into, and is the condition to unlocking more H scenes. This also affects NPC dialogue, as the heroine's degenerate activities become more frequent and flagrant.

Suspicion represents how aware the hero is of the heroine NTR-ing him, applying a Sanity malus at 100 or more. Otherwise, it does nothing.

Sanity is basically a doom counter that fast-tracks you to a Bad End if it hits 0.

The Good

• Town slowly gets more corrupt as heroine's lust increases, changing NPC dialogue.
• A casual grind, made even more casual with the cheats menu unlocked from the start.
• Side window that lets you see what the heroine is up to away from the hero's eyes. Even (especially) if it's lewd.
• Scene viewer unlocked from the start which acts as a gallery.

The Bad

• H-events occur entirely at random in the town based on an arbitrary RNG and a number of factors, mostly out of player control. The only reason I'm not docking even more points for this is the existence of the scene player.
  • Speaking of the scene player. The scene player is kind of busted. Since it uses the same side window that portrays the heroine's activities while she's separate from the hero, it just DOESN'T WORK in any area where the window is not available. Hell, you can't even access the non-random H scenes without it.
• Because the heroine window works automatically and at its own pace, the game chugs when you're in town as it struggles to track your movement, the NPCs' movement, and the heroine's all at the same time.
• The scenes progress automatically at a preset speed, with no way to change it. Hope you can fap fast enough to keep up.
• Town corruption does pretty much diddly. You get NPC dialogue changes, and the hero can get Suspicion from guys going "hurr durr I fucked ur GF" but aside from that? Nada. Whether the heroine is the purest cinnamon roll or the biggest thot to ever (dis)grace the land, everyone still stands in the exact same spots doing the exact same things. Which is nothing.

The Debatable

• AI art tag is there for a reason
• NTR tag is there for a reason

Honestly the concept is good but the use of AI is so in your face that it get annoying, plus the fact that you all the scenes already unlock doesnt actually serves as a good incentive to keep playing

If you want to enjoy the scenarios, would recommend it for a quick fap

The art is AI, so the quality varies. The translation isn't great, but it's easily understandable.

The gameplay is generic, but reasonably good. Both the vanilla and NTR endings a fairly easy to get, especially with NG+ to speed things along. You can apparently get the MC to have sex, but I didn't care enough to figure out how.

The strange sword you get at the beginning is fairly underwhelming, given that it deals elemental damage that many enemies are resistant to and that you can't unequip it. It also doesn't appear to upgrade to a more powerful form, so it ends up just being worse than a generic weapon from the shop.

Unique idea. I love how she slowly corrupts herself over the course of the playthrough. Nothing else I’ve seen does this. I love this game format. Need more of it dev! Will gladly pay for more games or an expansion.

the gfx is AI, so its mediocre. the scenes are mediocre, the game play is mediocre, the story is mediocre.... so overall, i'd give it a 3 star.

its a playable game, but its probably not the kind you want to replay or keep it amongst the best of your library.

The idea and system makes this game extremely attractive. Having the heroin displayed the whole time and her actions change every now and then means that the player doesnt have to grind from one CG to the next. There is always something to "look at".

This is also one of the few games where the AI art is done very well. It is among the top of the ones I have seen. Many AI art are stuck in the uncanny valley, but not this. It gets the expression and shading done very convincingly.

The only downside is, is that there is not much depth to the game. While it has some corruption progress compared to some other game, the short length of the game still means that it happens relatively fast. There is also very little to do in this game.

It kind of leaves you a feeling of unfulfillment and craving for more.

Art 4/5: Great use of AI art, not sure why people dog on AI art. It's very much a tool that's good, or bad, depending on the prowess of the content creator. Would be a 5 if it had animations, and more in-between scenes rather than
Gameplay 2/5: The scene viewing is cool, and being able to pause is useful, but it would be even cooler if you could quick track. Other than that it feels as though the game is sort of missing direction; there's a lot of cool NTR content, but it's sort of hamfisted in-between a generic game experience rather than tied together coherently, for the most part.
Story 2/5: I'm sure it's somewhere in there.

*The only significant changes I've noticed, spare a few scenes, is the addition of a few "Game Over" screens to just close an unfinished game half way. Still runs like a scene viewer, still has no impact on the MC for her to be out and about doing stuff besides an "Oh well, must have been the wind!" and an arbitrary sanity check to a game over screen that doesn't even involve him.

The gameplay is smooth, the cheats are in the menu for you to use if you want to skip the grind, the NTR is very well done NGL, the problem is the AI art, not because it's bad the art is good but the problem is that it can't do enough, i love games when the heroine is on the side of the screen and this one even has text over her with her thoughts, very smooth, decent story, could've been a 4 but it's holded back by the art.

TLDR: Game good, art is average with no animations.

Give it a try if you like hidden NTR with a clueless MC

I'll be honest, the game is actually far from perfect. But I'm giving it 5 stars because I think the format itself is a very good idea and one that merits encouragement, to stick with it for this game but also to expand on it in future games if and when those come.

I'll start with the positive, and then go on to what could stand to be changed or improved:

- There are a lot of games that have a NTR mechanic where the FMC is getting corrupted in the background while the player character, but having a direct window to what's happening to her is a very dynamic way to convey that to the player.

- The art is AI, of course, which I have reservations with but it's decent AI and characters are consistent, so considering how much content has been made in a few months at least it's AI with perks (can't imagine how much it grinds my gear when an AI game is as slow to add images as one with fully manual art).

Now for the negative:

- There isn't really a reason for the player to roam the overworld for extended periods of time... Except to wait for events to happen to Aria. Sure there's a few things to do and couple places to shop, but if there were some overworld quests that would be more natural and could even have specific events attached to those quests.

- I'm not a stickler for realism in porn games, but Caellum being a pixel away from Aria blowing some guy and being like "hmm, that's weird, maybe she just dropped something on his crotch" breaks the immersion some. Could do with the events he's not supposed to clearly witness taking place not in full sight (some are, but some aren't) or with her identity obscured.

- The Dungeon exploring is... not very fun. Way too many mobs, too little naughty stuff, combat design is pretty boring. Two ways to approach improving it: 1) Literally cut out 90% of it so it takes a minute to do a floor and advance the story/trigger an event or 2) Add a bunch of H content in the dungeon + combats so it's as long but more interesting.

- This is more minor but make it easier to find where Aria is when you're looking for her in the overworld (like have her show up on the teleport minimap).

excellent game 10/10 I really like games like this NTR style and I'm looking forward to new content, I also liked the duengeon content but there should be more animations of the monsters with the girl

Whilst the other lower ratings do bring up some good points, the game is very much enjoyable, and gameplay is fun. Still needs some QOL features, but dev has said they're working on them.

Is pretty good for being in beta, def worth checking out, esp due to its unique features. Scenes are good, but honestly, it just needs to flesh out its gameplay a bit more, and then more scenes, and itd be a pretty damn good RPGM game. If dev doesn't abandon it, it can become one of the best if they just continue expanding

Really enjoyed the game especiallly the time moving without the need to go from place to place just heroine moving around real time and sometimes getting harrased this game would benefit greatly if there was a time system so sleep would be necesssary and certan events could appear at night

The game is still early but I've been hoping for something like this for a long time.
The love interest has her own schedule independent from yours and you can where she is and what she is doing based on standing image. If you go to her location while she is doing something lewd you can see extra content where the MC tries to figure out what she is doing.
When going into the dungeon you can either slog through a difficult grind or you can take guy along with you who is literally invincible and does 10x your damage at the cost of him trying to seduce the love interest.
I'm really excited to see this develop.

Personallyi think we're in need of more NTR games like these where the heroines is of field

What I like a bit more about this is, unlike the predecessor games like "my girlfriend advanced to the dancer class" "The Stereotype That Only Girls Play Healers Isn’t True at All!" Or "Colette ntradventure" witch are great games, is that you don't need to spam refresh loading zones to progress the scenes

I'll leave it 4 stars since it's still green around the edges, not many events in the city other than waiting it out, enemies in the dungeon witch are really sturdy if you don't bring the 3rd and a not so favourable farming h-scene in battle method

Art style came out pretty, some scenes you see a 6 fingered hand, but all and all it didn't looked weird so after very little I started not noticing it anymore

All and all I liked the game and played like 4-5 hours straight, I'll wait to play the newer versions so that I don't overburden myself on just a few crumbs each update, once the game is done I'll tweak the review accordingly

Art is, okay? It's got that sameness that all AI art has. But it's also very inconsistent, her drinks be changing colors and stuff like that. Dev didn't bother quality checking. No moans. Not voiced. No sound effects for the scenes.

There's a setting for stretching images and it's turned on by default. Makes them look pixelated on bigger monitors. There's a few times where MC's name doesn't get replaced with what you choose. Event launcher is buggy, the NPCs spawned in often don't despawn. Sex stats having a separate page for MC's only stat of suspicion that's shown first is unnecessary. Also running across the unnecessarily big map to find her for each new event is really annoying. Out of 1 hour, at least 50 minutes are spent searching for her. The reward is scenes that aren't even worth it.

The writing and images feels lacking.

Aria's a whore that's lying to herself, and MC's a complete idiot. She literally says "Would it be weird if we slept in the same bed?" The room has 2 beds. And he goes, "Yes. I want you to sleep alone in that bed right next to the thin walls where you can clearly hear the neighbors railing each other!" It's very inconsistent. He's in love with her, until the dev wants Aria to spend all night horny due to hearing the neighbors banging so his love and care gets thrown out the window. He pays attention, until she's getting molested and all his brainpower goes out the window too.

For the scenes, it's like they're trying to speedrun it with minimal effort. It's also auto skipping, but you can pause it with the P button (the game does not tell you this very important detail for some reason). Image 1, stranger grabs her ass "She seems surprised" > Image 2, she turns around "She seems upset". Scene ends. It's like that for most of the scenes. Then the sex scenes are along the line of: image of dick already inside her pussy, image of dick inside her and cum leaking out. The MC's reaction to that is, I kid you not, "Must be imagining", "I can't see, nothing wrong", "That stranger pressed her up against the wall for the 5th time this week, she's okay", "Why this guy not wearing pants? Why she standing before him bent over? Maybe she getting massage. I want a massage too!!!"

90% of MC reactions is "must be my imagination". Blowjob scenes are, image of dick next to her face "must be seeing things", dick in her mouth "must be my imagination", cum on her face "I heard a giggle. Must be the wind".

Scenes are... very very short, and the sheer stupidity and copy paste of MC's "must be imagination" reactions just worsens it. I'm losing braincells just reading MC's thoughts.

The current state of the game is not worth it. The split screen NTR is a nice idea, but the scenes are speedran and you can't even get hard and stroke once before the scene ends. The map is also built in the most annoying way so it's massive and there's obstacles everywhere while the important places are on opposite sides of the map. Scenes are random and you have no idea where it's even happening so you gotta search the whole map and all the buildings each time.

Good idea but absolutely terrible execution.

Edit: Played the complete version 1.0 fix. Everything I've said is still true. Except they're also added terrible combat, then later on added both cheats and a teleporter. The amount of effort put into the writing and game kinda just... decreases the closer you get to the end. It already starts at low effort, so it just gets worse.

The plot is... almost nonexistent and what little does exist (the endings) is some straight up bullshit of the highest order. I kid you not, one of them is literally

"I'M NO LONGER YOUR INNOCENT GIRL ANYMORE! I'M NOW A SLUT!!"

Excuse me? Bitch, hello??? You fuck the MC's brother in the intro to the game before this so called "corruption" started! And apparently it's been happening for years!! Where is this "innocence"??? Note that they went back and changed the intro to make it match the ending. The "change" being

The dev... just deleted the actual sex, but not everything leading up to it, or the confrontation after, then declared the job done. Plothole fixed. That's the level of effort and intelligence you can expect from the writing

Anyways, it's now a 1 star instead of 2 stars. Even being one of the few games with split screen NTR can't save it. Also these guys pumped out 9 low effort (some being negative effort) AI games in the span of a year. They have a history

Game is worth watching if you like NTR and dont mind AI art. I didnt feel like the art was too terrible to the point that it takes away from the scenes. There are a couple of janky pictures regarding the background, but overall its fine.

I would recommend the game just because I like the ability to see what your partner is doing on the side while you run around and do what ever. Wish more games had features like this.

The other games by this dev are a little lack luster for sure but I think this project is worth watching. As of now there are a decent amount of scenes to watch so it'll provide some entertainment for a while.

Mediocre at best.

The scenes are fine if fairly generic. Nothing beyond vanilla here (outside of the NTR itself).

The gameplay loop is either fighting in a dungeon over and over again for no reason other than to view the increasingly corrupt ending scene, fighting in the dungeon and losing to see the other increasingly corrupt end scene (and eventually in-battle scenes that are fine) or just sitting outside waiting for him to do something increasingly corrupt in the town itself (which you can semi-view (it's essentially hidden sex)).

It has a corruption mechanic, but it's just 'number go up' with increasingly slutty scenes as it happens but not a vast amount of variation (handjob > blowjob > sex basically, with her getting increasingly into it).

There's also a 'suspicion' mechanic but I couldn't find any way that it actually interacted with the game.

0.3 and not labelled as complete so if developed could actually be a really good game, but we'll see.

Before playing this game you might want to check out the dev's other games. This studio shat out 9 similar NTR games in the past 9 months and they are all pretty bad. This one is no exception.

The annoying thing is that it feels like they could actually make a decent game if they focussed on one and put some effort into it. The artwork doesn't look half bad and the premise of your GF constantly cheating behind your back is pretty nice for an NTR game.

But none of this is properly worked out. The story is generic as fuck (I assume also written by AI?) and the gameplay is horrible. You're just monkying around town while on the other screen you see your GF walking, sitting, reading, being a slut. All pretty random. It's very unclear what you need to do to progress the story, and if it matters at all what you do. You're just walking around while watching a slide show of your GF doing random stuff on the side screen.
