Yeaa, personally I think the dev is really kneecapping himself with his Patreon model. Every post seems to be hidden behind a paywall, so as a new potential member I have no idea what he's creating, what the art looks like, etc. For example, I obviously found him thru this game, and then when I visit his patreon they're marketing other games that I have no idea what they are, what they look like, what their concept is, so I'd have to go out of my way to research the other games. Why they're making it hard to find information on their own game is beyond me. As a service provider, you don't want your potential customers to navigate away from your sales page.
The memberships are needlessly confusing and kind of low value. I don't know where they expect to get members, because this demo was by no means interesting enough to part with $5+ to get one game that you're spending 1/3 of your time on. For example this game hasn't seen an update for over a month when they're competing with games that see releases every 2 or 3 weeks for similar prices.
Anywho... the e-commerce manager in me was kind of dying inside.
