If you are into insect and corruption this game is for you !
Downfall is it have only 6 CG and it's 1 hour long.
But if you got the fetiche the game is good !
And I enjoyed it but it's what I called a one time fap game, good but short, and quite forgettable in the end !

Review for NTRRPG Gaiden 1 [ATN]

To preface, this is another RPGM game that incurs the ever-glaring question whether linear "glorified visual novels" warrant using an engine other than one used for VNs. To me, the question always seemed void, since sex games can also be a medium to further a niche kink/idea and give it a bit of dimension for immersion's sake, even if shallow.

So. If you're a degen with a thing for weird, japanese games, this is certainly worth trying if the following doesn't ick you. It caters to two kinks: insect/filth & maternal NTR. As someone who doesn't have mommy issues and only came for the former, I genuinely wish I suffered from the latter; for what the game sets out to do, it does so well, and manages to hit some sweet spots. Sweet spots for those it was designed for of course—degens aching to see
There are 6 scenes in total, and the Corruption/NTR can feel rushed for some tastes. To be fair, the developer set out to make a ~2 hour experience, and for a 2 hour game, it can't be called barren. We're given opportunity to observe changes to our heroine's demeanor in an episodic fashion after each sex scene, by clicking on the same objects and observing slight changes in her comments. The dialogue... leaves something to be desired. You can see the dev tries to give Natalia (the mom) characterization, but she still feels a bit shallow. We could've definitely benefitted from a backstory where we could take in the bond with our parent. Build it up so there's something to tear down! The "plot"... in a very porn plot fashion unapologetically revolves only around our mom's corruption, every single scene taking moments to remind us how it's inevitable and destined, and we're only a clueless passenger.

The scenes themselves are somewhat well done. The dev even sprinkled in a good old 'unaware NTR' scene which is just a bit lackluster. The art has its charm, especially since it's *that* amateurish, peculiar anime art style that you see in niche japanese eroges, that get you morbidly curious. The delivery of the text leaves a bit to be desired. The narrating voice butts in every once in a while to announce what's happening on the screen, that we can see, and occasionally the commentary is hot, but mostly distracting. The audio/SFX are nothing to gawk at, just stock RPGM music and ill-fitting sex SFX, for the latter I'm even inclined to give it a minus. Ejaculations sound like lawn sprinklers.

All told, for what NTTRRPG Gaiden sets out to deliver, it almost succeeds to hit the spot. Whether it's me not quite digging the mom NTR thing, or it being a result of lazy writing eludes me. I'd give this a 3.5, as I can't really be mean to a game that I've actually really liked. 4 will suffice. Oh, and there's an untranslated sequel apparently. And a translated prequel on DL-site that's not on here. Have fun

It alright, the scenes are few but are very very hot in my opinion, the mix of insects + ntr is niche but well implemented, I guess my complaints would be that whole game felt just like going in circles which made it repetitive but again, it's alright

Personally, i love the insect, mother and NTR tags.
The art is nice too.

Now being a bit more objective, it's not the best game out there technically or in gameplay, it's a very targeted game for degenerates like me.

The Gameplay is boring , the scenes are bad, really not a good game tbh. Of course if you like to go around skipping mid story and then getting rewared with some mid ass sex scene than this will probably tickle your pickle.

this has 6 scenes and it drags it out way too unnecessarily and the scenes themselves not only is it insect sex the art looks like its made from kisekae also fun fact if you cheat to beat any of the bosses in the game, the game just breaks it doesn't have a eventuality were you win because god forbid the player has any autonomy

If you want to view the art there may be a gallery somewhere but don't waste your time on this.

Listen, this is an extremely weird game. That being said, it's also hard to rate, because it's a very short episodic game which belongs to part of a larger upcoming series. The art is... passable. The character dialogue is actually somewhat decent, but most of it is locked behind interactions with random objects and the dialogues don't offer much to the game except some flavor. On the bright side, I think the translation is pretty decent, or at least it isn't written in totally broken Engrish. The plot itself is very basic, and there is really only one way things can go if you want to see the scenes, so it's almost veering into VN territory with a veneer of a game around it. As for the content itself, well... it's going to be very hit or miss, because it's bizarre as hell. If you get squicked out by bugs, this one ain't for you. If you like really weird Japanese hentai games and are looking for something you can finish in an hour or two, this one will work. The "NTR" itself is a bit weak, because the game is so short, but what's there is decent if you suspend a bit of disbelief/don't need 6 hours of buildup to feel betrayed. I would rate this one 3.5 stars but since that isn't a thing, it gets 4 stars.
