It's more or less official that Nyaa Torrents is dead. The admin decided to close it down because of recent EU rulings and reputable sources confirmed the site isn't going to come back, at least not the same Nyaa
Below i leave you all the official information pertinent to this issue has well has several alternatives.

All i can say is, RIP Nyaa, you'll be missed.

On May 1, 2017, NyaaTorrents officially ceased operations.
At time of this writing, nothing remains of the site. These are actions taken by the owner of the site and not a result of some form of internal subversion or engagement by government or legal entities.
The exact reasons for shutdown remain a mystery to all but the anonymous owner, but remaining former NT associates are led to believe that based on the circumstances surrounding closure, it was in response to recent court rulings that had the potential to affect site operations in the future. Rather than face this possibility, and any repercussions it would have on all parties involved, the owner decided to bring everything to a complete end. Based on operating principles, nothing will remain of the original site and all content, to include back-end, front-end, and all databases, has likely been purged.
There are no plans to continue any activity under the NyaaTorrents banner.
Any projects that occur from here on out are not associated with the original site.
The above serves as an official statement by what remains of the site.

Damn, literally every Japanese games are expensive as fuck, especially if it's a porn Japanese game. Every one of them cost a fortune of money. It's even worst let alone fresh new releases porn games, they are required to released it on high price due to the fact Japan cost of living is exquisitely high. Which also suck ass for me, as people who live in a place where our currency is really low and their's are ridiculously high. I can atleast muscle through if they can shut down movies torrenting site, cuz sooner later movies will eventually price down to dirt cheap give and take, but not japanese porn games. Even if they try to lower down the price it still expensive as fuck. I remember when Artificial Academy 2 was released, god damn that thing were around over 100 dollar PLUS. With that kind of money i can almost afford a fucking gtx 750 ti 2gb Zotac.

EDIT: Last resort to my opinion: I dunno how these legal shit works. But it could had been better if they live in south east asia and host it there. So we can have those pesky Westerner out. The EU,US and UK.

It's not about who is legit, they all are. They all have the recent Nya DB. The problem is who is going were, users/uploaders. We just have to wait and see were the community will go, people like Superelmo...
