I have only seen this website for like 3 days but can tell immediately it would be 90% better if there were rules where you can be punished for not uploading small files when knowingly having access to them. Why does a pirate community need to sound like a youtube comment section. There is so many blender models in particular where people are talking about how they are using them despite them not being uploaded to the catalog. Wtf? That should be a ban.
Dude stfu, if someone decides to share they'll share, if not you just wait, what a retarded take "they should ban people for not sharing" what a take smh

You say that but you know I am right. If f95 holds itself as a website about pirating and not useless internet forum #488568199. Then giving these people like a month ban can only help the website. You could sit there for hours and you wouldnt be able to come up with 1 counter argument to not having that as a rule.

The main idea of your approach is to convert community communication into a purely functional file sharing.
Then it will make the site into a catalogue of shares with 0 comments under each topic.
The flaw of this logic lies in the following - it's the community that enabled sharing, not the other way around.

Overall, I agree that some members or posts may be irritating, but that is not the reason to ban people. Or try to convert communication into pure file sharing.

If you read carefully you would see that I did not say pure file sharing but participating in discussion while KNOWINGLY HAVING un-uploaded relevant content. Obviously the creators themselves (SadCat in this case) should be exempt from this rule but there is no excuse for anyone else.
In this context there is 0 reason to not have this rule that can only make the website better.

since when this is a communist site?. that opinion of your would kill this site more quickly than big companies could do to their game with greedy monetization.

the base of this site is that everything is voluntary. from the uploading of the files to the fan traduction all is made by the community, forcing them is not only ungrateful but also is just asking them to just leave. after all they spend THEIR money to get the update so they can do the fuck they want.

with that said i would appreciate if someone posted the update since the author sad cat say that it was okay and dosn't have any problem just that they themself will not pusblish it here.

I may have written a bit broadely about the issue.
The main idea is the trend of these limitations. If you ban people for irritating communication, it's never a good way to go. And that action will lead to banning not only the jerks, like you mentioned earlier, but also someone who is not that familiar with rules like these. Or there may be misinterpretation of cases by moderation teams.

Yes, I also think that the guy who says - there was this and that in the update, I didn't like it, so you won't like it either - should have some impactful negative feedback. Temporal readonly, idk?

But ban is not the way I'd like it to go, personally. I've seen enough forums that didn't survive strict limitations, unfortunately :(

Lev is right. Honestly those 3 people should be banned. Completely useless and just using up download bandwidth if anything.
Why are some pirates is such a entitled little bitches? You don't even know if the claim is true, and they're just trying to get a reaction out of you by saying crap
Thank God you two are not moderating this site lmao

I think the reason people are angry is not that they're not uploading after buying , but rather purchasing, coming onto a piracy site, talking about it, spoiling it , and then not uploading it.

Might be a little too humiliating for some, but if Kat would drink a cup of somone/multiple's semen and then burp in MC's face (on hard humiliation/teasing routes) that would be incredible, tho i might be in the minority on that one lmao

For the last time you do not need to wait to post the new update here.
Just because I talk in this thread doesn't mean you have to wait.
I actually get MORE subscribers when an update is dropped here, because it pushes my game to the front of the recently updated list.

The people who discuss content here while having obtained and not uploaded content are absolutely useless to the website. Why should anyone care that they spent money for paid walled content when they don't share it? Exactly who would care if these types of people are driven away from the website? In fact it would spur people into doing what this website is actually about instead of just being a 2nd 4chan.

Exactly my point. This website isn't a spot to come and discuss the part of the game that hasn't been updated yet. It just spoils it for people

Please explain what use do you give to the website then? Why should we care about your opinion if you are not uploading anything, either?

I actually had uploaded paid VAM models some years ago. But I have nothing to upload here because I rarely buy paywall content these days. People who are actually buying content, talking about it here yet not uploading it are worse than people who just consume content.
