RPGM - Nymphomania Priestess [v0.62] [TechnoBrake]

nasty, i am going to w8 until the final version to play it, but the game is interesting, the art is amazing, the fighting system is good but it could be a bit better is take a bit of inspiration from karrys prison and the plots are really kinky.

I have been following the game since it starts. I play it once a year. I use cheat or save data to see the updated scenes. The experience is satisfying, and you keep your self-respect.

Since the beginning of the game's development, it has been buggy. The battles and fetch quests are just fillers to prevent you from seeing the scenes. They are not designed with care. Like "kill 10 monster X", "get 10 item Y".

I know all the three languages in the game. Texts aside from Japanese are horrible but you can still understand it as a whole.

The erotic contents are okay, arts are good, story generic enough to be serviceable, but should feel formulaic if you have read enough NTR hentai, particularly netorase to some ugly guys, and some femdom. But getting to view scenes can be convoluted: you need to grind a lot, be in a certain time frame and meet some other conditions. And the corruption is too fast. Seriously, if you are coming for this, use cheats / save data, and there are way better stuff elsewhere, doujin, game or any other media, that you can directly enjoy.

In summary , this is a downgrade from the developer's previous game, nymphomania paradox, that is complete, more polished in terms of story, design and the erotic contents. I replay his previous game more often. If you want this game to improve, stay away from it, and come back to see how it goes once in a while, like, 1 to 2 years.

Its a pretty decent game for what it is and I do enjoy that it isnt just an NTR protag that doesnt get to fuck other women himself while his girl is cheating. You can really approach this game in a few different ways. Combat is decent and although a bit grindy, you can power up fairly well.

So whats my issue you may ask. Gameplay solid, art is fine, and diverse routes to take..... Well the Dev refuses to progress this game in any meaningful way, ive been following this game for like 4 years now and the lack of progress is disrespectful, especially to those who support this project. I pulled my support when the updates slowed down, now the Dev is basically rebuilding the game from the ground up.... I'd wait or not even play it at all.

This game is so grindy that trying to complete it legitimately would require leaving it as a task to one's descendants.

The art and scenes are great though, so when you inevitably decide to just cheat everything at least you'll feel like it wasn't all for nothing. The generic rpgm cheat menu works great.

And don't trust the images, devs made the stupid decision to change engine version mid development, and the new version of the game is still missing a bunch of content.

I have to be honest, I am kind of disappointed! It's not a bad game but I expected a lot more. The scenes get really boring really fast. Considering the size of the game and the fact that it's been under development for 4 years the game does not meet the expectations. It does not have any story, you just start the game after choosing the names! After that it's just bunch of quest that are really boring. The relationship between the characters does not make much sense. Then you have a lot of grind to unlock bunch of boring scenes. All in all Not a bad game, not a good one either. Most of the map doesn't work and part of them that work are in Japanese. All in all, not a bad game but not a good one either.

This game showed a lot of promise for a while, with an interesting set of characters and a genuinely intriguing plot. The artwork was good and the scenes were fun.
Then they decided to update the game to a new version of RPGM, and destroyed nearly everything they worked towards.

Currently, the once decent introduction to the characters and their relationship is simply gone (to be re-programmed later?) and all the main plot quests are either also removed, or hidden in some obscure way.
The soul of the game is gone, and even though the game gets regular updates, they don't seem to address the problem:
After the change in RPGM version, it feels more like a soulless tech demo than a real game, and it's not worth playing.

I wish there is option for MC to have a bigger dick and then gangbang prietess with other guys but it's still a good game you should try out. Beware you can still avoid netorare if you try your best but if you just want to fap it's still a good game

NOTE: My review rating is solely on the game and it's content. Also my first review. Me yapping about the developer at points is just that. Me complaining. I'm slightly biased as a result, but I'll try my best to get my point across.

This game is a CG set cloaked in the guise of two RPG maker engines.
From the story that goes from mildly interesting to just down right boring in the matter of an hour, to mechanics that just do not respect your time, this game has it all... and the creator is out here still making at least 5k a month on the fans money.

I've seen some other reviews of this game, and it's crazy how polarizing they are sometimes.

I'm not really a fan of NTR, but I let it slide because TechnoBrake's art is too good to pass up. Unfortunately, even if the art carries the game on it's back constantly, some aspects are just blatantly unrefined and it's sad to see.
The story is one of my biggest gripes to date with this game. The game starts off pretty basic in which you play as an adventurer- Ah, well you've most likely read the overview, you know how it goes. Actually after the fact, the story actually tries to become interesting, and it succeeds (personally) in what it tries to be... Up until a point.

Once you've done the intro and first few quests, you're essentially shat out into the world, and good luck knowing what to do because documentation and tutorials are slim for these new versions. You do go to a few places of note, but the story unfortunately falls sharply off it's own cliff. I won't spoil anything (Lol) but there just isn't a lot of interesting content in the game where I can recommend it for anything other than to beat your meat stick. The characters are interesting, but their lore isn't exactly very fleshed out compared to other highly rated RPG porn games. A lot has a changed between versions, but the story is not exactly the highest point...

Speaking of changes, If you look at the version history, (a lot of you hate to read the first post on this site, I swear) you'll find that the game switched engines. This was out of left field as I'm aware, and due to that, a lot of content is currently missing from switching from the previous, lower resolution and I guess less developer flexible RPG VX Ace, to the better RPG MV. It makes sense why they switched, but a lot of content is just missing now, not including content that was just removed. I'm tired of seeing "Not Yet Implemented" on shit that's been in the game for literal years ever since we got out of the dungeon test. It's a shame, because there's decent world building going here. It's just been put to the back burner.

In addition to the story becoming lackluster, it's exacerbated by the fact that the game is a grindfest, and not even the good grindfest like a Megami Tensei game, but a nothingbutter sandwich that only exists to extent the theoretical steam playtime this would have. Fame is in my opinion, the biggest offender, and it hasn't even been in the game since it's early days!!! It was added more recently! Bruh. Tell me why I have to just repeat those silly ass rat killing and delivery quests just to get some damn theoretical fame. It purely serves to waste your time from the already lower amount of story content. The corruption system is probably the 2nd biggest offender, and I would say it matters more since that's what a lot of us are here for. The way Lust and Love works makes sense on paper, but In execution it's just another slog. I've had to use MTool several times to just cheat my way to 200 love or lust because frankly you're going to be doing the same thing to increase (or decrease) those stats. A few dialogue options here and there. That's it? Same thing applies to the relationship/addict aspect which essentially is the same damn thing wrapped in the same damn grindfest. There are scenes for yarizo and Potion Maker, depending on whether you are the Priestess (Kohaku) or The Protagonist (Jimmy, I named him Jam). The scenes, as I said are very nice, but gaining those points to get to the scenes is just very very boring and it's honestly not worth actually grinding for them. It's just better to use the in game cheat tool or an external program to do so. A shame. I also have gripes on how Kohaku can go off and get piped by anybody, but the second Jimmy stares in the direction of a woman, he's fighting for his life (Even if she knows you know she's cheating/you're willingly cucking yourself). It makes sense I suppose, considering her suspicious background and character, but take that as you will.

Everything I've talked about is honestly a shame, because if at least some of these were properly addressed, even with a slow update pace, which I have no problem with, I would rate this game higher than the 1 or 2 stars I'm about to give it. If you've taken the time to read through this, agree or disagree, props to you.

EDIT: Do also note that there was a mod that added a lot of things I would like to see in the official game, but that mod was shut down sadly because somebody snitched on a dude who was creating a free mod, and Techno got pissed.

I've played this game a few years back, and I recently came back to it to see where it progressed to. Besides an engine update which lets me see digital poon in bigger resolution, not much. The game isn't really anything special, writings OK and H scenes itself aren't diverse. It's the same CGs for each position but just different text written underneath.

I'll be generous with 3 stars, but there's the usual H RPG bloat present. Grind needed for stat checks. Even with cheat mode/item on, the grind to reach certain scenes or skill checks takes very long. Quest system takes us all, but with very little directive and with a large map it makes it frustrating to put so much time into something that could've been so easy. To put it simply, why am I running around towns trying to complete a quest for fame?

I'll give it another chance when I see the completed tag.

I really hate this new update :/ should've continued with the main story instead of changing engine or something imo. The story is not that long and english translate for the game is also not finished yet. Should've focused on those first now the game is kinda laggy because of the changes there's also alot of crashes and bugs. I can tell that this is gonna take awhile before its fully converted to the new engine which kinda actually sucks. But do what you do it's your game this is just my opinion.

It's been so long since this game started and I have finally have to admit it, no matter how much I've been hoping different, that this game is utter shit.

There's a lot of games that do things wrong and this game basically does everything (but the artstyle) in the most egregiously idiotic way it could possibly do.

This game continues to develop endlessly through the years as an unfinished product and each time it somehow gets more grindier, gets more bloated and yet there is less content to see.
How, how can you add to so much to a porn game and make the porn so hard to get to?
It used to be about going into a goblin tunnel with this woman and whats-his-face and you'd have the combat and immediate porn, looking forward at how much there could've been.
Then they added questing, the promotions, the fact you need to spend like half an hour killing rats and collecting webs.
Then more story was added with more contrivaces before actually getting to the good stuff, needing to spend 10 minute figuring out how to do anything before actually doing anything.
And let's talk about that "anything" that happens, like the big thing of "combat fuck" or what have you: it is implemented like absolute shit, if you want to experience the actual netorare (rather than just throw the priestress to get fucked) you have to hope that somehow the RNG disables the main character, somehow the main character remains disabled and hope that you regain control just in time to see what's happening in the case of the goblin blindness.
And okay, I could deal with janky mechanics if at least there was a lot of stuff happening all the time... but there isn't!
Everything is a slog, a time waste, you going from point A to point B to collect the CGI of the Priestess fucking someone else but only if you're really lucky, otherwise sorry, no dice.
Technobrake is a decent artist but he just has no idea how to make a game, the RPG setting should be a prop to the porn, especially if you have no idea how to make a fun system: you're not as good as the guy that made Black Souls, stop trying to throw gimmicks around as if this is anything but something people jack off to or at least hire someone that actually knows anything about making a fun game.
Also don't get fooled: the ingame cheat tool doesn't allow you the most important cheats, aka to bypass idiotic checks like completing quests or getting fame so you can continue the story, it just changes a few things like lust and lvoe, doesn't even give you gold, just get a completed save if you want to play this.

This game takes one start because I cannot give it less.
The game is buggy, it is messy, it is grindy, it is slow but worst of all it is not fun.
The content (aka porn) is decent but it is spread thin everywhere, so if you wish to engage with any of the content you have to waste actual hours of your time to grind useless things like "Fame" or pick up "spider webs" because why not, why not have filler quests of "kill 10 X" or "collect 10 Y" in a game all about hentai.
For the future content, expect nothing, seriously: the game will never be finished, they'll just keep adding content pretending they're working towards a release because that's how you keep people hooked with crowd funding.

While the art is superb and the unique overexaggerated scenes perfectly fit to the art, the game itselve is a mess. At the current state the story is not available, lots of bugs everywhere and even while using cheats it is a grind to get tp the scenes. Also if you played the game 1 or 2 years ago you will find that it has less content now which in intself is ridiculous.

It isn't as bad as people scream, but isn't as good as people praise it to be

Pros:
-The world feels massive, and it always feels as if there's something to do in every corner of the map
-No set deadlines, so you can take the game at your own pace without fear of "hitting a deadline".
-FMC is hot, and loves being slutty for the MC. If you're into it, you can coax her into cucking you, and she'll reluctantly do it for her love of you (despite her hating other men). It's fairly hot and has something for both NTR enjoyers or NTR haters.
- Multiple clothing options.
-You can mess around with the FMC sexually whenever you want, and it's CONSISTANT. What I mean is she'll give you absolute sloppy toppy in your bedroom, but will be embarrassed to show her boobs in public spaces. So it never feels like it's "weird" that she's doing one thing in one scene but is reluctant to do a worse thing in another scene.
-Corruption is great. You can get her to cuck you, get her to be more open to exhibitionism, etc.

Cons:
-The corruption SCALING, however, sucks. There are 2 stats, love and lust. If her love for you is X amount greater than her lust (or vice versa), certain actions or CGs unlock. However, we're talking "Lust needs to be 60+ more than Love", and you could grind out a WEEK of lust and only get +10 lust, and that's if you literally ignore everything else but building lust. So, it's supposed to be a slowburn corruption, but it doesn't feel rewarding to slowburn the FMC, and instead feels tedious. Fortunately, the game gives you a cheat code to manually raise/lower stats, but using it feels like, well, cheating.
-The map is massive, but that also backfires because of a lack of direction. You won't be certain if you're doing something correct or not. "Am i supposed to be taking this quest? Am I supposed to be talking to this elf? Am I supposed to be talking to the shopkeep? Am I supposed to be in the town, or should I leave?" So you end up doing "what feels correct", and might end up in a dead end because the game struggles to tell you what's "correct" or what the best path is to unlock CGs.
-Bugs. Some bugs crash the game, and the game doesn't auto save. For example, remember how I mentioned you could sexually request things from the FMC? Well, a specific request ends up crashing the game, and if you haven't saved in an hour because you were focused on grinding? Well, there goes ALL your progress without warning because you were curious on an option that was listed. Worst part? It's a bug that's existed for multiple patches, and is one of the FIRST bugs you can discover.
-Some things aren't translated, which BLOWS. For example, theres a shopkeeper who's extremely stoic with a lewd body. So, it would make sense that her dialogue would add to her allure. Then, BAM. Shinzo Abe's manufesto hits you, and the immersion is broken. There are also other parts where whole QUESTS aren't translated, so you're left to wander the entire map (which is GIANT, mind you), wondering what the hell you were supposed to do.
-Tremendous amount of CGs? Great. Vast diversity in scenes? Wonderful. Lack of actual CG room to view CGs that you've already seen? Horrible. Plus, some CGs you can only see ONCE, so you either have to deal with the fact that you won't ever witness the hottest CG in existence again, or simply save before talking to EVERY NPC. Your choice.

Overall, an EXCELLENT game with HORRIBLE setbacks, flattening it out. It's like inheriting a mansion worth millions, only to find out it's in shambles and unsuitable to live in unless you invest millions in repairations. I would heavily recommend to not download/play this game until it's finished, because you'll end up feeling let down by a potentially 11/10 game.

In all the three years really nothing changes or get added.

Even after the remake, the game is full of bugs, especially at the start. This already destroys your mood to play the game.

ps.: Beware the game is just partial translated. Most text is still in japanese.

In addition to the boring generic progress and the terrible game design. I'm marking this one down as much as I can because of the sheer laziness of the developers.

At the very least translate everything important in the game so we can actually know vital information, like quest text that tells you what to do.

Then maybe fix the biggest of the hard game breaking bugs that I keep running into.

Until the devs fix these things that are making the game unplayable, I recommend everyone else to avoid this.
