As someone who plays any game solely because of the immersive story—since otherwise, one could just as easily watch something—I was quite satisfied with this one.
Although the story wasn't as well-developed as I would have liked, it still made an impact, and I had a good time playing through the game. Sadly, some parts of the story felt flat, as it didn't seem like my choices had any real impact. Encounters with the uncle, except for the first one where he threatens "mother," felt unnecessary. I got some background information from him, but it didn't add much. His motives are also basically unexplained. The explanation from the scientist doesn't seem to justify his actions, and it didn't feel like he became a better life form. He just got boobs and became even more ugly.
The characters themselves are interesting at first, but after the conversations, I don't feel like I really know any of them or have deepened any connections. The decisions don't seem to have much meaning (except for the kill/spare choice). It doesn't feel like I'm actually in the game trying to understand what happened to me or how to resolve family matters. Since resolving family issues is central to the game, I would have felt more integrated if the beginning allowed me to get to know the family members more. Perhaps working in the café could have made a more reliable impression on the cousin as well, and the game could have expanded on that.
That being said, the quality is still pretty good and worth noting, especially since the game isn't brand new. All the locations seemed well-designed, and I believe the interface could have been polished even more (the red text is just weird in my opinion). Overall, it's a solid game, with great sex scenes, which is likely why most people are here. I would recommend it, and I'm personally intrigued to check out other games if the developer has any.
