VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Odyssey [v0.1] [Dragoon5k]

SUMMARY: Basic, solid art and renders marred by poor dialogue.

PROS:

1. Artwork, renders and models are not bad at all.
2. Story seems more of the same but at least it has some sort of a twist that seems to involve paranormal or mystical elements.

CONS:

1. Models are not bad, but the MC expressions are a bit goofy to say the least, he goes between angry and intense to surprised (shit my pants) in the same breath...Not really enough content to go by.
2. Writing and structure is poor at best, developer isn't a native English speaker or/and has not had the dialogue proof read before publishing this. Its a mess.
3. Adding to above point, the dialogue does not flow, feels stilted and unnatural, like characters are robots just going through the motions.
4. Attention is also needed with the names and terms used, I can't emphasize how shitty much of the dialogue reads.
5. Very little content, so little in fact that it makes it even more annoying to have the bad dialogue because a few more minutes of revising before posting would have gone a long way. The impression I got feels slacking and lazy on the developer side of things, which is a pity as here could be interesting story.

TLDR: No much here to review, models are passable from what is there and story is mediocre and cliche, but the may become interesting. Writing is horrible and destroys what is there though. I would give it 2.5 stars but the writing is so bad that I would rather flush it down the toilet.
