Hello everyone, the OMW app is finally ready!!
¿What is OMW app?
Well, the days of downloading your waifus one by one are over, now you will have all waifus in one , yes you read that right! You will no longer have to fill your device with several applications for each waifu, after a lot of work, my main idea of creating a single app where you have your own waifus library is ready.
Officially, from now on OMW app will be our only application that we will maintain and update with new waifus and new features. This small but big change benefits both you and us, it's a win win so we hope you enjoy it.
Waifu Gallery
We've implemented a new button in the UI, this button opens your "Waifu Gallery" where you can find and switch to any waifu at runtime, you don't need to restart the app or wait for loading screens, just select your waifu and enjoy!
In addition, the gallery has a search bar, to filter and find your waifu faster
UI Improve
We've been tweaking the UI, we received some reports from users who couldn't see or interact with the UI due to their device's camera blocking some buttons or indicators.
We've been testing these new changes on several devices, however if your hardware blocks part of the UI, please let us know and we'll make the changes for future updates.
We have also changed some icons and images to improve the look of the UI.
Lastly, now when you open any window like settings or gallery, you can close them by clicking the "X" button or clicking outside the window
How to install on Windows?
Note: Because it is the first version of the OMW app, there may be some problems or bugs, therefore, we welcome you to report any issues so we can fix them right away.
We also want to inform you about some changes that have been made since version 2.0. The "First Penetration" feature will be temporarily disabled, as some waifus had some bugs with their implementation, we are considering if this feature really improves the game or just annoying.
Second, "Marin Kitagawa" will be temporarily removed from the app. The reason behind this decision is that she is the only Waifu presented in a landscape format, while the others waifus have been designed in a portrait format. This poses a problem when it comes to integrating all the waifus into a single application. However, rest assured that we will bring back Marin Kitagawa in a new edition and in portrait format.
We hope to receive your feedback about the application and ideas to continue improving it.

Android App 64-bit Build.

Still not 100% on how this is structured, but it seems like the dev created several standalone apps for different characters, and is now working on unifying them into a single app.
3.0.0 is unreleased (Patreon only)
2.0.2 is latest public release (I'm unsure if it has all characters to date)
2.0.0 and under are standalone characters I think
Would be nice if BaasB or someone could update homepage to reflect differences between various builds and give

So... Hello everyone! Virtualove here to bring you some great news for OMW! Before we look at this experimental update we would like to thank you for all your great support, when we released the OMW app we didn't think people would love it and that means we are on the right track and hope to continue to provide you with a great product, with that being said, Let's see then everything about this Experimental build.
What means Experimental Build?
It's basically a version for users to test new features and give us feedback so we can implement the necessary changes before releasing the public version. If you download and test this build you help us a lot.
OH MY WAIFU (3.0.0)
When we released OMW app we solve the great problem, now all your waifus was stay on a single app, however you probably noticed a new problem, OMW app includes all waifus into the app so that means more waifus, more size the app, so on desktop that's not a big problem because most games are several GB in size, but on phones this will be a big problem in the future because OMW will have more and more waifus, we were thinking how solve this problem while we were developing OMW app and now we have the solution! So let me introduce the "Waifu Cards".
Waifu Cards
How does it work? Ok, We have developed these new files called ".waifucard", these files store a waifu, so now you simply have to download your favorite Waifus or ".waifucard" and place them inside a special folder called "Waifus" so that the app can read it, that easy! In this way we solve the problem described above, since by not having all the waifus compiled within the game, this significantly reduces the size of the app and you decide which waifus you want to have and which not.
How to install Waifu Cards?
First you must download the correct version for your OS, that is, *the .waifucard for Windows will not work for Mac or Android and vice versa.* We hope to resolve this soon so that a .waifucard will work for all platforms.
Windows
- Open the OMW root folder
- You will find a folder called "Wiafus", if it does not appear you can create it manually
- Download your "*.waifucard" and place them inside the "Waifus" folder
- Enjoy!
Mac
- Right click on OMW app
- Select "Show Package Contents"
- You will find a folder called "Wiafus", if it does not appear you can create it manually
- Download your "*.waifucard" and place them inside the "Waifus" folder

Android
- Connect your device to the computer
- Navigate to "Phone\Android\data\com.virtualove.OHMYWAIFU\files\" *(Even if you have OMW installed on your SD Card)*

Yes! You are reading it right, we have finally developed OMW for Mac devices.
Remember that this is an experimental version, so there may be bugs when playing. We hope to know your feedback about this version and any problem you have let us know so we can solve it, thank you and enjoy the app
How to install on Mac?
- Download the .zip
- Unzip
- Run the App
- You will probably get a popup warning telling you "cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified." Click on "Cancel"
- Open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Security
- Select "App Store and identified developers"
- Bellow appear a message like: "OH MY WAIFU" was blocked from use because it is not from an identified developer.
- Click on "Open Anyway"
- Enjoy!

Will OMW have a version for iOS (iPhone)?
We regret to announce that the version for iOS is not possible, iPhone devices are too hermetic, that is, they do not give you the ease of browsing files like Android or any desktop OS and also to install any application it must go through the AppStore and if you guessed it, the AppStore does not allow +18 or NSFW content, so it is impossible to publish OMW for these devices.
We have done several tests, with external installers such as "Scarlet" and although it is possible to install OMW on the device, the new feature "Waifu Cards" system it is impossible to make it work on iPhone since, as described above, file browsing is non-existent therefore you will not be able to download and install the ".waifucard" because it does not allow you to explore the internal directories of your apps
In conclusion, at the moment OMW for iOS is almost imposible, however we will not give up and we will continue trying, if anyone has an idea to make OMW works on these devices we will be happy to hear your proposal, thanks.

Hello virtualove to anounce OMW 3.0.1
We have taken your feedback on the "Waifu Cards" into consideration. We understand that some people prefer to have all the waifus included in the app. However, we appreciate you giving this new format a chance so you can determine whether you like it or not. We will be launching some waifus in this new format and hope to have your feedback again. This way, we can decide whether to continue with the "Waifu Cards"or return all the waifus to the app. Thank you for your cooperation!

So, with the "Waifu Cards" system working, from now on the game will only include the first 5 free waifus, which we have renamed "Default Waifus". To download new waifus, both "Free Waifus" and "Exclusive Waifus", you can get them on our Patreon.

Hard times for gaming, due to the new policies that Unity will implement in 2024, where developers will have to pay $0.20 per installation. The initial idea of launching two versions of OMW is no longer viable, as although this currently doesn't affect us since we don't reach the profit threshold (+$200,000 per year), we have completely lost confidence in the engine. Just as they changed their policies out of nowhere, they could do it again in the future and this time it could affect us. That's why, after considering various alternatives, we have decided that the best option for OMW is to release the app with all the waifus.
Will Waifu cards disappear?
No, we are going to work on new changes in the app to improve this system, the idea is that you can download your favorite waifus from the application itself with a single click and no longer have to download them manually from the PC, we are still in the development stage of this function and as soon as we have news.
