Well, supposedly, they had a release planned for the end of April. If this holds, we might as well expect news within the weekend.

Well, in some brighter news, I went to see the Mario movie today. It was pretty good, you should see it if you haven't already. See you all next build or dev preview, I guess.
I'm really hoping these delays come to a close with more people on board, but I'm getting skeptic considering it didn't seem to do much last time...

I don't mind the delays tbh since the work that they've done so far is nothing short of a miracle. They had to pause development for a very long time because the artist injured his arm from the monthly updates from the previous year and I (personally) don't think Red has fully recovered from it ever since. If Red attempts to go back to his previous output, I'm sure it will only worsen his injury to the point where he can't physically draw anymore and that's the last thing I want to happen in this game. The fact they're hiring more devs to their team means they're still trying and I commend them for that.
So long as they sustain their 2-month sched, I'm ok with it. Hoping they deliver a solid Bates Boss battle soon as well!

Is... is there only one guy working on Bates while the rest are stuck on Nobody-Cares Dojo? I mean, at least they're only adding a npc and fixing the broken dtuff from ,ast time, including the rabbit.

It's such a terrible idea to add a whole new map instead of just focus on and finish Bates first imo.
Exactly! I can't really get an idea of working on improvements or even definitely some new features, but not getting Bates FINALLY done. They supposed to get over him.. year ago?? And still all we have it's "bug fixed and some new features" and lovely "thanks for your patience guys". Thanks for feeding us with unkeptable promises

There's supposed to be more females, both NPCs and enemies, but they intend to add a toggle/"you can just ignore the female NPCs lol" whenever that comes around to minimize psychological scarring from gamers having to acknowledge the existence of the opposite sex.
Apparently, the game was always meant to have females in it from the get-go instead of being purely gay despite the first three and a half years of its existence being populed with exclusively males, but so far there's just Kaylee. It's entirely possible that they caved to the collective hissy fit and axed their future plans for giving Joe more pussy to pound, but given that the flow of content has been thin for a while, and that their planning is kind of arbitrary, we'll see if any more come down the pipeline.
