On a whim I looked through old comments I made in game threads

And man it was a bit depressing honestly as you can see the status of the game for each thread, around 70% of them or so had the abandoned tag.
I am aware of course that it happens alot after having been on the site for so long but damn it really put it into perspective.

Sounds about right, if you look at the games here, completed ones are 2x than abandoned ones. And in development/abandoned have about the same number. That's pretty normal, not really depressing. Even in the AAA market a game will shine among hundreds that never make it.

Its just you know so many times I went oooooooh yeah that one! That was pretty damn good...... Oh well onto the pile it goes.
