I fully agree goloro. The world is fun and interesting, as are the charactera. By focusing on OCs it makes the game development sustainable instead of relying on corporations to approve their ability to make money on it. And I believe creators should be allowed and encouraged to explore their creations in ways that excite them.
Not to mention there’s a ton of Disney princess trainers out there already.
It would be different if it seemed like Salty was genuinely trying to scam people, but having played the early access I fully believe that the disappointment of OPT2 was because of genuine, serious effort going into Love & Cards that genuinely seems to be paying off.
(not that there isn’t serious criticism to be had around how Salty handled the Patreon. That was shitty, regardless of the reason.)
