I take it you've never played a fem protag Japanese RPGM game?
Not to mention all the western

"MC has to move back in with mom and sisters"
"MC / MC's family is in debt"
"MC has no money so has to walk everywhere on the map"
"MC has no money so has work so much over time his wife cheats on him"
"MC has to sell photos of family for pocket money"
"MC is so broke he has to work for mob / criminals"
"MC needs part time job to by corruption items"
"MC is in school / collage / university and parents pay for everything"
"MC is in school / collage / university and needs part time job"
"MC has low paying crappy job and takes it out on the women that work there"
"MC has been fired"
"MC is a teacher"
"MC's business is in debt and has to offer special services to not get game over"

etc. etc. etc.

and we haven't even gotten to the western games dungeon runs, shipwrecked / stranded, bottle cap collecting apocalypse setting, escape from zombies or puzzle games etc. yet....

Those are just the setups though, by the end 90% of the time the MC has superpowers of some variety and is rolling in pussy.

I'm just putting it out there that I'm going to need to see a detailed statistical analysis proving otherwise before I budge on that number.

Sure. There are 22171 games here. Of that, 4564 games are fem protagonist and DON'T have the lesbian tag. That's 20.6% of games. Removing the multi protag tag makes that 3994, which is 18%.

Knowing that, logic dictates that 90% of games can't be about the MC getting pussy. And this isn't even including NTR games that have the opposite of getting laid as the goal.

Incorrect, in many of those money / superpowers are not a game mechanic.

As the one making the statement, you should be the one presenting a detailed statistical analysis proving said statement.

You can also add to those listed above the 536 games with no sexual content plus all the 100% gay games and the abandoned games with no sex scenes.

Also as pointed out above by Insomnimaniac Games you couldn't reach 90% in the first place but add to that, there are 22171 games and 5975 abandoned games you'd never be able to reach it anyways.

Most of western games follow this patter: And then and then and then...

Basically, things just happen without much thought behind them. Most updates are just new ideas that the developer has come up with instead of trying to follow a coherent story. That's why everything gets so bloated over time and updates often feel somehow disconnected from what came before.

I don't agree, most of them don't get rich. That's the real %90. "My father died and now I have to look after my mum and two hot sisters. I also have an aunt and a cousin."

Yeah for one thing that's just pretty typical of writers who have no training: they just start writing without even a rough outline. And also it's because many of them let their patreons bid on what's going to happen next in the story.
