Whelp, I've given it some time to get a bit further in development, my break from TS games is over.

IT'S TIME TO SEE IF THERE'S ANYTHING FOR ME TO BREAK IN THIS ONE.

And of course probably just play an actual good game with good plot and "plot".

If I find exploits or fun/effective mechanics and strategies, I'll post here.

And if there's anything game breaking that needs to be patched of course-

i just realized, if we can sell abilities and buy them back without problem then before we go out to patrol we can invest all in fighting abilities and before we go to sleep we can sell those and invest all in cauldron which will give us most MAG in next morning
TwistedScarlett60 what about my question about those 5 girls? will they come after few days time limit or will they sit in place and wait? also what has happened to those cool short break images with guitar in the background, not adding them no more?

Huh...okay, potentially just a me thing, but I will make a note for TS, I've gone a fair bit through the game, and I JUST realized that you can just...buy esper abilities, and they don't seem to be gated behind an event or something-

I just assumed "Oh, the esper tree will automatically unlock the first ability after a story event" because that's how the other three are-

But no, it's just...something you gotta buy. Like I KNOW the guy can use esper powers, but without any in-game indication to remind you that you can just...pick them up any time, no awakening event/story required, it's very easy to miss just because you might not think of prioritizing the only tree you're locked out of out the gate due to not being able to afford it on the first day, especially when every other core upgrade tree has at least one skill you can't remove that makes it obvious "you can progress and prioritize any of these, but this is the basics of what's needed to function".

Just a bit of player-proofing would probably be nice is all. I recognized all the story beats "foreshadowing" Hunter having esper potential, but that's what I thought it was, foreshadowing that the tree was gonna be unlocked soon, not "you can just do this at any time".

Definitely gonna have to mess around with this now, been used to old TS games where for the most part, you had to think through upgrades since you wouldn't be able to undo them whenever you wanted.

Edit: Although to be fair, I don't think you'd want to in most cases, since the cauldron abilities also grant bonus stats, which are also really important for fights.

In the gyaru scene moans and plapping sounds can be heard even after our heroes got their deal done. I could make many jokes about it explaining these mysterious sounds, but it's probably just a small mistake awaiting to be corrected.

i dont know if i get u, so ure saying we shouldnt have that tree skill? event when he got esper powers could be that when he got cursed or connected to tatsumaki thru curse or just spending time with her, or her putting link between them, or could it be something else like monsters plot to try and turn him into a monster
do you simply wantone scene of him being shocked he got those powers? getting craziest spells is impossible at the beginning of the game anyways without just getting MAG points thru cheats

no, he wants the first skill in the tree to be permanently unlocked like the other skilltrees already do, because he thought it was locked behind story, so he didn't try buying it with mag. I agree with him and also want it unlocked by default, I bought the Barrier skill but couldn't use it because the esper menu is locked behind having Wind Blast unlocked

That's definitely an oversight. I'll get that fixed. If more people think Wind Blast should be unlocked by default, that's something I can do too. You do actually start with it if you end the intro with at least 3 wits too.

yeah i noticed that too but i thought it was done on purpose because we had that first skill unlocked automatically at the beginning

Well, a part of Hunter's story is that he awakening esper powers to impress the shortstack, solitary psychic, so in my moronic opinion there should at least be a skill to show off the supposed "awakening".

So far, so good. I'm glad the dev added a cheat menu to not make things so grindy. Art is high quality, just wish we could do more sex acts with the monsters (anal, etc.)

Tried it and wouldn't even bother, if it was just another review-less demo with something like 3.5 score. But 68 reviews in 1.5 months? It must be either masterpiece or botted trash.
Checked some reviews and many fresh accounts with 0 activity on forum or just 1-2 posts in this thread.

XenForo lets you check IP addresses of accounts interacting with a thread through the admin tools. If it were botted, the site's admins would've disabled reviews by now, as they've done with stuff that has ACTUALLY been botted. Kindly go shit up another website.

Not at all, I was just saying it'd probably be a good idea to notify players "Hey, I know the story doesn't explicitly say anything out the gate, but you can buy esper powers whenever you want like any other ability."

It was just the lack of immediate sense it made out the gate that made me not even think getting esper powers was possible until later in the game, since it didn't make sense to me that I'd be able to buy the esper powers when everything before that indicated Hunter didn't even have them yet.
