Good pacing so far, no endgame content makes an early review hard
The one issue is the slow farming for convenience stat with no milestone events into constant regression for said farming makes the mechanic frustrating, possibly turning the player away from following the well constructed pace, dialing back the rate of regression and adding even simple text events to celebrate the milestones of going from weak to Average for example and then putting something along the lines of a stat floor would make it feel less grindy.
Additionally the stats themselves are vague even when fully understood, none of them (barring the boss with stamina at the gym) have any events that are stat locked, the fact that they only help you go through the game faster really throws off the concept of what you should be doing when there's no time limit on anything. Hopefully this will be naturally built upon in future updates but for now the concept really does hold the fluidity of the experience back.
The pictures are well supplied and paced throughout the game and it doesn't feel like they're being rammed down the players throat or being stingily withheld, great job on that, no complaints at all in that section.
Overall love the game and look forward to any additional content and improvements, but unfortunately we've gone a handful of months with no new content and there's no indication of why or when it will stop, so the game kinda needs to be rated as is without considering what it would be with updates, and the game is too short and inconclusive with not enough pay off for the overall grindy nature. 2 Stars until something wipes off the rust.
edit2: The dev has returned to add content! Reverted the rating and will return when I've had a taste of the endgame content
