Hi,

I found this website today. You basically pay a monthly price to follow your favorite person and too see his content. I tried google to find more about it. It seems, that many gay people are using it. They upload naked pictures of themselves and you can follow them to see them etc.
I think it is not only for gay people but for everyone. I found out about this site because of a youtuber. He´s definitely not gay and uses it for other things.

Difference to Patreon is... the developer can only choose one monthly price for his fans, more price categories are not possible. Minimum 4,99$ monthly.

Downside. As far as I can read, you only are able to upload pictures and videos. But I think, you can message people or maybe put a download link under a picture. I think there is a solution. (Edit: Posts are possible, so no issue here with download links)

Anybody heared about it or tried it already?

Tried the test with subscribing to someone. As far as I can tell, only payment option is credit card. Billing Details are necessary.

All in all. My first impression is positive. It is a Patreon Clone without Pay Pal but with porn.

No, not even close.

Credit card only, a lot of folk don't like using cards online which is why Paypal is so popular.

Minimum payment of 4.99 when Patreon is 1.

Simply put a lot of folk pay 1 quid/dollar/peso/whatever to quite a few games but if they all moved to that site they would only back 1. A lot of others can only afford that 1 quid/dollar/peso/whatever so won't pay anything on that site.

It would mean a lot of developers would lose thousands a month.

I don't think a site where a dev can potentially lose half to all of their income would ever be seen as a viable alternative.

A supplement, sure, but not an alternative.

It would need a highly proven and reliable alternative to Paypal and a decrease in minimum support requirement before anyone could consider that an alternative.

Credit Card only is a huge deal breaker for a lot of people.

Here in Germany credit cards are a lot less common than in the US for example. Same goes for several other european countries. Debit Cards are king around here.

I understand that, but we need to understand, that paypal is not an option anymore. They don't want to be linked to that kind of stuff, they are prudish. Maybe cryptocurrencies in the future.

Apparently, debit cards are possible. Maybe I just didn't saw the payment option

I'm staying on Patreon for now. The biggest thing hitting the devs here is the 'no incest,' but honestly, too many games rely on that anyway.

Bestiality, rape, depictions of minors, and necrophilia are the other things they don't allow, but less games have those.

Patreon is a site that devs and patrons can trust. There was the issue last fall, but they allowed people the opportunity to change their games to meet the new guidelines.

sleepygimp was only artist, except from decameron x, who is under prohibiton, or control now, i was willing to pay because his/her art, but enough, he or she want double payment, or add not complete works, or another things...anyway, if i have everything what i want, i will upload here what i have, for happines others, etc

btw - payments methods in Patreon are realy weird, Patreon has own methods, mostly artist (i hope not everybody) has own methods, so i am done with Patreon

As far as I'm informed, Patreon is only taking actions against projects that advertise 18+ stuff publicly. As long as the adult content is only visible for those who pledged, they are mostly good to go. But since a lot of creators had nude previews on the Overview page, they got in trouble.

And even then they were able to keep on using Patreon, as long as they are removing all the naughty stuff from the public.
