Guys,
Do any other engines besides Ren'Py work as well as it does as far as UI goes? I'm not big on anything that is sandbox related (it's so easy to get stuck and not know what to do next, which results in frustration, and that's not what these games should be about), and I have found that any I have attempted to try that aren't Ren'Py are sandboxes. Does it just go with the territory or what? Can someone shine some light on this for me?
Also, I may even (someday) consider creating a VN adult game. I am a published author of psychological/horror/thriller fiction, so I can create stories. It's just getting familiar with the software that would be the challenge. I am sure there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube, though. Anyhow, any insight would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!
