I will definitely be a Patreon from next month on ! :)
That's no money wasted! A dev who already proved she can finish a (excellent) game, committed, working hard and delivering regular updates. Kept promise to use the money on reached patreon goal to hire help. The undisputed "industry" gold standard she is (which makes the whole thing even better imho)! (y) (yeah I admit, MrDots and NLT could also be named as gold standard :) )

I think the point of the thug route was precisely to be as outrageously opposite to the starting Ashley to show just how much you could influence the story. It was corny and it was campy but it was pretty fun in my opinion, with that double crossing at the end and other gang related shenanigans. The cool thing about GGGB is that it gave you the opportunity to do whatever you wanted, so to criticise Ashley for doing this or that feel more like you're critizing your choices as a player...
EvaKiss was willing to kill off characters...in a porn game! I thought that was quite bold of her.

People might disagree with me, but I liked the thug route actually and it was cool to see a VN actually go there where most would shy away. I also liked, how you said, it was a demonstration on just how much you can control the story and the actions of Ash.

Kids or teenagers sure. Peer pressure and all that. Young adults with established social circles? Not sure about that. And it's not like Ash is fascinated about all the gangster lifestyle really. She thinks that Jessica's glamorous celebrity-level party lifestyle is cool and wants to live like that, not live in slums dealing drugs. The only thing that pulls her into the gang is the thrill she gets from being humiliated and fucked like a cheap whore, so the sudden desire to fit in with them feels rather odd and out of character.
You can look at Thug route as some kind of Stockholm syndrome if you prefer, blackmailed, druged, raped and so on.

Unlocked
Chapter 3 update
Hi guys!
I'm sorry I'm a bit late this month, but I already saw it coming and so I told you. Good news is I'm almost done and the Alpha should be ready to play in just a few days, so don't worry too much!
On the other hand these last months working on ORS (2 months of working on pre-production+GGGB DLCs and then working on 3 straight releases) have been pretty intense! As I keep working myself into this new game (I'm really loving it, I hope it shows!) I'm learning more and more on how developing ORS will be. The standards of quality that I have set for myself this time are pretty high compared to GGGB, and I'm not only talking about better art, backgrounds and menus, I'm also talking about presentation, game mechanics and especially writing.
Setting up the plot lines, the narrative axis and developing deeper characters takes time and the writing process is not as straightforward as it was with GGGB. My goal will always be to push out a full fledged update per month, but quality comes first, and I'll take as much time as needed for each chapter, so delays are probable to occur... I'll figure it out when the time comes. And I'm beginning to need a vacation!
The last chapter of GGGB meant 3 hard months of work and right after I plunged myself into another 5 months of non-stop development with ORS and the DLCs! Looking back I feel like I barely got time to enjoy the feeling of finishing GGGB... That's my own fault too, though. It was like, right after finishing GGGB, I couldn't stand to look at it and I wanted to get working on ORS right away because I knew I could do better! Right now I'm very excited working on ORS and it's practically all I want to do, so don't worry about it getting dropped or stalled.
It might just take a bit more time to produce.
Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy chapter 3 in a few days!
Kisses,
Eva
P.D.: Do you like Lena's dress? She'll get the chance to wear them in chapter 3 if you decide to meet a certain character...

Probably the old dude she met at the art gallery. Or maybe Robert...
If I'm not mistaken, in the last chapter Lena has been encouraged to meet Axel and giving him the chance to explain himself as potential chance to move forward without additional struggles.
If not referred to Mr. Ward, I see a reference to Axel here in the way she mentions it " if you decide to meet a certain character... "

I played Thug Route as Ashely being infatuated with Wilson and it works out surprisingly well on that front. What's really fun is a completely good girl Ashley who becomes really interested in him as even giving in to him constantly doesn't make her bad enough to agree to being a thug. GGGB works really well for 'roleplay' like that.
