I didn't. my old saved games don't work with this mod, in fact, the game itself doesn't work with this mod. THIS MOD is broken, though the DEV seems fixated on blaming the user. I done a fresh install, deleted all related files in my appdata folder, all saves, deleted all persistant files and deleted the cache folder so there was NOTHING on my system which could possibly effect the game. I then done a fresh install of the latest version of the game, and I downloaded this mod straight from the patreon page. Forget saved games, it CRASHES when you go to start a new game! So I solved my problems by getting rid of t his MOD and just playing the game normally.

I just modified the game code itself so I could scroll back and redo menu choices, but that isn't related to this mod at all.
Damn... I installed the one from Patron too (Mega), used a new save and deleted everything related to 'Our Red String', but I really can't start a new save. I think what you said is best thing to do right now tho. Thanks for you awnser!

Clean install. This was changed in the REMASTERED version therefore you're not using the latest version of the JDMOD.

The issue you seem to be describing was fixed in the latest version (REMASTERED ALPHA.a) but I can't be sure since you've yet to provide a screenshot or the traceback of the error. Feel free to uninstall the mod and continue with your life.
I'm using the latest version that is on your Patron page for free. I deleted the "Red String" folder on %appdata%, deleted the saves and on the actual folder of the game, and I'm also using the full and updated version of the game. However, always when I try to start a new save, my game just crashes.
And when the mod was latest updated?

The DEV has fixed the problem. The latest version of his mod does work, though I had to start new (didn't work with my recently saved games). I didn't mind though. Glad it works now, it's quite handy after playing through the game many times without any mod, it is interesting to see certain choices make a difference I didn't know.
So that's great! I swear I've downloaded the "latest" version before but the real latest version seems to be right now. I was using the "C" version and the new one is the "A". Now I'm wondering he updated the links...

I didn't know you had a newer version. I'll test this out and let you know if I have problems.

Update: Okay, I tried out the newer version you mentioned and no crashes. When I tried it with my saved game it didn't work though. It showed up on the cellphone popup and all, and the menu options are all numbered etc... but no other clues. Thankfully I just started a new game, so I started over new again (no big deal really) and then the mod worked, showing the best options etc.

Thanks for the mod. Didn't mean to be too critical.
No problem.

The JDMOD doesn't replace the script, it contains a modded version of it. You can switch from the unmodded to the modded version at the beginning of a chapter to convert your existing saves. More info in the FAQ.

DEV doesn't blame users. Please find out whether it's your own problem before saying this. Thank DEV again here.
It would have been perfect if you called me John instead of Dev but thanks.

Edit: I found the error after decompiling the code. There's an additional ) bracket on that line. After running it went okay, but there's also something about a missing image as well.
Same bug. Solved it, still need to upload the fixed version. Probably next weekend.

I got the 0.9REMASTERED FINALa update to the mod, was playing along, up until in Sat 3 Week of June playing as the MC, Wade was telling us how his day at the games was. Suddenly, I was hit with this error message. Judging by how the errors seem to be coming from the folder JDMOD, I am guessing it is the mod that is doing this.

Was trying to launch the game but got this error that's preventing me from doing so:

File "game/scripts/agenda_bios.rpy", line 3, in <module>
NameError: name 'PhoneAgendaEntry' is not defined

If you'd be willing/able to put the original Alison/Billy/Jeremy threesome scene (the one from before the remaster) in the mod, I'd definitely appreciate it.

Hello, prior to start, I would like to know how to rename the characters.
In fact, the mod doesn't work....

Just want to say that I had the same issue and your solution worked, thanks!
