VN - Ren'Py - Outre Reconciliation [v0.01 Prologue] [Herculust]

I agree with most things the other guy said but the minigame isn't that bad. Yeah skip option would be nice. It's a decent start for a slow burn vn. -1 star is from the girl's screentime. There are like 9 girls in the banner but we only see 3 so far. That's too few for me and it could mean that it will take like 3 updates to see all LI or you cramp all unknown girls in the 2nd update and it will take a while until someone fav girl get screentime.

The plot feels common, but, with a few "twists". The Father animosity is a bit Extreme, whatever happened wasn't the son's fault. It is also too douchey to ascribe intentions to a son he never even tried to get to know. It all seemed a bit TOO much. Faith feels a bit too saintly in contrast. It felt as if she had hidden intentions for why she's working so hard on the "reconciliation" that neither of the relevant parts are interested in. The half-sister looked caring.
The Aunt and Uncle feel good, but unlucky. The cousin (?) looked immature and childish. She's obviously old enough to drink, but still hides from her parents to escape normal chores, let's hope she "grows" up. Otherwise however hot she may be, she'll be a pain.
The MC. Grateful, responsible, polite and devoted a very cool over nice guy. I feel that he's going to be corrupted and become the traditional dickhead that will fuck everyone in sight, losing any and all appeal he has right now, to become the average porn douche with no real interest.

What the plot seems to imply (I do hope I'm wrong) is that the MC will become EXACTLY what the Father thinks he will. Either as revenge or by corruption. Making this game "Just Another One Asshole MC". Oh, how I wish I'm reading this wrong and the Dev manages to keep a path open to a decent MC play trough, while allowing anyone that wants a corruption path their option. In my view there's more than enough of those already, but... some people can't help themselves.

Like in the story, I'm going to ask for an option, the option to NOT be forced to play Minigames. They are annoying TO ME (and many others), I understand that some people love them, I don't. It doesn't matter how well done they may be. Please Dev, IF you have to put minigames in, for whatever reason, please put the option to skip them.

The planned kinks, are okeyish, the main point I dislike is corruption, but if it depends on options, I can live with it.

An interesting Prologue and first release, good (sometimes too good) characters that made me interested in see their development. The plot, can go either way right now, but, points or implies a strong possibility of going dark with corruption taint. The minigames will probably be what makes me simply desist of this title if they are not made skip-able. For now, everything is still much in the air, with some worrying possibilities, mostly like a vague feeling of uneasy that this will turn into more of the same porn story with assholes.

My rating is a 3, mostly because of the likable MC, the 2 points removed are due to the Minigames (I just can't stand them)
