Well, overall I'd say this is a good well crafted RPGMaker game. I'll list a few things that stood out to me while playing as of version *0.10.4.

I like the story, I think it's very interesting and has a good pacing. The main character is very attractive and has a strong personality, although quite generic in these kind of games. The art is original and pretty to me, but I wish there were more scenes and less black screens with text.

The combat is interesting and quite simple, but it can be annoying in some situations. Due to the map being very cluttered, you'll often get stuck and get caught by the enemies during cooldowns and you'll either have to load a previous save, or deal with the infection level getting higher. I recommend everyone to save often during missions.

    Major problem to me:

This game treats sex as a punishment to the MC; quite common trope in RPG games with female characters unfortunately. Every sex scene is either a gameover rape scene, or scenes where Juno is forced to do everything against her will. No, scratch that last part, she never does anything, she always stands there while being fucked or abused. She'll "enjoy" it after having no escape from it and that is a pathetic excuse for bad writing.

There are very few instances when we get the choice of doing something, but even then, those scenes scene still feel rapey, since you can clearly see how disgusted Juno is during them.

She never shows any sign of being sexually active, horny, or being interested in any other character. This game simply never rewards you and the MC with a satisfying sex scene. This is about doing missions and getting raped if you failed. Some scenes end the game, others simply raise your infection level. In other words, there's no reason to replay this game whatsoever.

I absolutely hate this about female main characters in most games. How difficult is it to make a strong female character, that allows you to choose her actions and/or personality? Apparently very difficult, because in most games, you either have a completely unrealistic prude female character that will get abused and raped by everyone and become a slut. Or you have a girl with strong personality that will deny everything and despise sex, but will also get abused and raped, becoming a slut.

Juno isn't even the latter as of yet by the way, because this game has very few sex scenes and none of them are satisfying. Some are definitely pretty to look at, but put them into context and they just turn you off. There are better games out there, lads, including the other game the same developer is making, which to me is much better. It's a shame though, because I much prefer this post-apocalyptic setting, MC and art style over Claire's Quest's.

Love the game's art style, and the game itself is not too hard but not too easy either. Also, the nsfw scenes are not bad either. I like the way they make you empathize with the mc so I actually like her.

    Pretty good game imo

This game, as far as I can say, is one of the best hentai games around the block. The story is quick to follow, the quest is not that hard, but to balance this... the game demands you a little more. Dark places are actually dark and ammo is scarce throughout the game. Be sure to pile up alcohol and cigarettes! (and obviously, conserve your ammo. Runners are a pain in the neck.)

The CG are well-drawn and very detailed and showcase the stages of where the MC gets thoroughly bred and the enemies are quite diverse, some are tough. I encountered minor bugs only and it does not break the game.

All in all, this game has a very promising future.

Come for the porn, stay for the story, the atmosphere and the gameplay. The RPGM engine is used to great results with customized maps and characters. The main character, Juno Townsend, is a spunky survivor a la Ellen Ripley with a gift to be in the wrong place at the right time.

Good game with intrensting plot and character. Good gameplay, i love the possibility to improve the HQ. Perfect the quality of the sex scenes images . Very appreciated the gallery mode where all the scenes are unlocked when a capter is completed (so you can see all the alternative route without a re-run).

Overgrown: Genesis is a real gem that is definitely more than worth picking up.

The apocalyptic world you are thrown into is littered with the dead and many other creatures you will encounter. However, the graphical aspect feels very much alive. I mean this in the sense that no area feels like it was overlooked, every area shows that a lot of effort went into making everything very detailed. Nothing feels like it was overlooked.

What goes hand-in-hand with nice graphics is of course fun gameplay. A tutorial segways you into the basic aspects of the game and as the game progresses the difficulty gets cranked up. New enemies and areas really egged me on to keep playing. A few minor improvements, mostly quality-of-life would be recommended though such as:

    - Fix some text overlapping in the top left corner
    - Monsters seeing you through walls (intentional?)
    - Being able to use multiple ammo packs at once, would save time
    - !! SPOILER !! Add sex scenes depicting the captured female soldiers in the hive in the pods

Personally I am not a fan of unnecessarily complicated storylines and Overgrown: Genesis never once felt like it became too much. It kept my interest until the very end of the demo and now I'm watching the thread, eagerly waiting for the next demo.

The majority of sex scenes stay within the rape genre, in recent demos however a few new ones were added which might appeal to a larger audience. Personally the rape scenes were right up my alley, yet the new scenes do offer some welcome variety as well.

Overall Overgrown: Genesis blew me away and left me wanting for more, can't wait for the next demo.
Do pick up the game yourself to see what I am talking about!

This is an A grade post apocalyptic survival game with porn twist. You could remove H scenes and it would remain excellent game to put few hours of life into. Sex makes it all better. A little bit tough, and a bit demanding in dark areas, still provides a lot of fun.

From the same people who created Claire's Quest, Overgrown: Genesis is one of those RPGM games that actually feel rewarding to play.

No crazy grind for sex scenes (most of which are rape, and avoidable/you can trigger them whenever an enemy is nearby). The story is pretty interesting, taking inspiration from the Last of Us and putting its own spin on it.

The CGs are amazing, more so the current ones, which you'll be able to make out because they're of the same quality and style as those from Claire's Quest, which have an amazing art style..

There are about 11h of gameplay crammed into these 508MB, which makes this game well worth your disk space!

I want to make it clear, ALL non-consent/rape scenes are fully avoidable (either by avoiding the enemies OR by choosing 'Yes' when you're prompted with the question of wanting to see a scene or not), I've savescummed my way through enemy-hoards and therefore had Juno not getting raped once on this playthrough.

My only minor critique is that horde-encounters such as gangrapes are NOT in the gallery. Scratch that, my dumb ass just had to actually visit the gallery for once and make an effort to look that up. Every scene is visible in the gallery too, having played through it or not, just like in Claire's Quest only that there are no master switches but unlocks after a checkpoint is reached ingame. If you want your Juno unharmed/unraped but still see the sex scenes, the gallery is your go-to place :D

First off: The graphics are quite good
Sadly there is not much use of it.
RPG maker offers only limited controls, escaping from zombies in 2d with very limited space is not that fun, plus the damn zombies always spot you through walls/buildings...

Also I was stuck when I couldn't go through some boxes in the metro, I went through every building and found nothing that would help me, no idea where to find it but its somewhat bad design if you can't find it after going through all the houses...

I Really liked the game , The story is also interesting and the mechanics and some useful bugs,Such as Refreshing melee items when you leave and enter an area (that means it goes from 1 use to it's maximum amount of uses) The story is very interesting IMO The Gallery is a bit odd, you unlock a few characters in the gallery by going through missions but i don't know how to unlock the rest :/ its a bummer ,it Packed a nice few hours of game-play without grinding or anything such , it's very interesting and fun to play it even has a little puzzle elements where you have to solve stuff and in dialogues you have to really think what you want, the wrong answer can easily lead to a Game-Over. In Conclusion This game is Very interesting in it's current state [0.09.5] The Mechanics are really nice and the game is smooth and the Environment Is really nice and atmospheric really drags you in the game The compositions for the game are also nice in the end i would just give it a 9/10 i take that 1 Because i just want more of it :d The Project has a Wonderful potential and i think the project is heading in the Right direction
P.S The game has Cheat mode that gives you infinite ammo but C'mon that Sucks it's a lot more fun when you just dodge the zombies instead of shooting and killing them

Just completed this game and it's awesome :) i really liked it, it's got awesome gameplay and it's more focused on stealth cause you don't have unlimited ammo for all the hordes of zombies this game is focused on storyline and gameplay there are only 3-4 H scenes if i remember correctly but for me the thrill in game matters H scene can be said like a bonus/credits for completing a task ;-)
I hope for more quests in future updates (hope an update in this month :-D)
    Thank you.
