RPGM - Completed - Overwhored [Final] [Cypress Zeta]

I replayed this game just after having forgotten about it for years, and on GOD I now remember why my standards for nsfw game writing is as high as it is now xD

The writing on this is peak. P E A K!
To this day I have not found a Villain-To-Unlikely-Hero quite like this one.

The Art is good. Nothing to write home about, but it's still way better than the AI slop that people are putting into their games nowadays.

The combat is admittedly repetitive, but then again so it is on most RPGM games, so I'm not about to nitpick over it.

Some maps could definitely be smaller, but that's just another nitpick of mine.

Overall, STILL a classic, and a must-play if you wanna know what it looks like when a developer starts ABSOLUTELY COOKING with their their game's plot.

10/10. PEAK.

Excellent: plot - it's better than anything Triumphs have ever made.
Good - average: Art.
Average: there's a couple of bugs.
Average - bad: level design, some levels (including our tower) are several times bigger than they should be; loot is sparse.
Disaster: classic RPGM battle spam.

It would be an excellent game, if not for endless shitty battles.

Very boring game.

The characters are all boring, the MC is no fun at all just bland.

I think the art is just cheap and bad, the sex scenes are far too short , have bad dialoque and don´t look good.

The story is also just boring and nothing special.

The combat is very vstandart but hets really annoying because there are far too many enemies.

But atleast the music is okay.

I can´t recommend it, just boring the brainwashing isn´t even good either.

Didn't even bother playing it to the end. Art style is just decent, at most. Sex scenes are super short, lack any animation or sound design. They felt like an aftertought. Only saving grace about the game is being able to spare villagers, but even then, it won't excuse the subpar ero and the mediocre combat.

It's a fun game definitely worth your time, the arts are a bit outdated but it's a game that come out in 2014, and there are some bugs here and there but the story is interesting enough for me in my 14+ hours of playtime, nothing groundbreaking but just good enough for me.

Overall it is a great game to play, feels like a work of passion from a group of people, 5/5 would recommend it.

Overwhored is one of the all-time classics of the Western indie lewd game scene, despite it really starting to show its age. There are newer games that have built on and improved what Overwhored has accomplished but it's still worth playing and stands on its own as a fun RPG.

The story of an ancient all-powerful being being brought back from near death and rebuilding a harem is a high fantasy staple, but this executes that concept perfectly. You get tons of variety between all the different ladies you get to enslave, and each one is brought under your influence by different means, the writing just works.

The art is also highly varied. All the different CGs were drawn by a rotating cast of artists, if mind control is your thing you may recognize a good chunk of the artists involved and they all brought their A game.

The game has a healthy mix between gameplay and story elements, and manages a good difficulty curve all through out. The gameplay might get a little tedious after a while though, especially if you don't like navigating through dungeons swarmed with enemies.

Overall, great story and great characters. Some elements don't hold up as well as they did in the early 2010s, but still highly worth recommending.

Combat - Well done for the most part. The "Protagonist/Antagonist'" class being relegated to the support role is refreshing; It embodies the role of us, the players.
Story - Totally solid, considering this is a porn game. I liked the development of the characters and their arcs. Even a plot twist or 2. H-scenes aren't the only reason you'll stick around to finish it.
Genre - Many "mind control" tagged games feature it, but it's not a feature here, it's the main theme.
Conclusion: It's absolutely worth your time.

Nice game, plenty of gameplay time and heroines to fuck. Art could use an upgrade anytime. Unfortunately, you don't have anything to do in places which you've already been at. That means the game is very straightforward - there is no quests to distract you from main storyline, which took me 10hrs to finish (although I believe I wasted a fair bit of time running around in hope to find those non-existing quests). Pretty fun game overall, I think I got exactly what I love western rpgs for. Hoping to see sequel someday with improvements upon the aforementioned little flaws.

I played this a long time ago but i still remember how i loved it all the way through. it is quite enjoyable , has a good story with some nice humor and characters, and is highly recommended. the developer went on to make Snow Daze which is great too

A really fun RPG with nice jokes, an incredibly nice and interesting story and nice drawings. Even the secondary characters have surprised me. In many of these games unfortunately the narrative is left out and this is a real shame. In this game this does not happen and eventually you become attached to the various characters. I replayed it some time ago to see if I remembered it well and still amuses me a lot. I advise!

It's just good. It has nice artwork for the porn, the characters are nicely realized, the dialogue is fine, the combat is decent, and it has a good amount of content to spend time on. All that would only make it deserving of 4 stars to me. It earns the 5th star for the ending. I saw the stinger coming, but it was done so well that I genuinely began to really care for the characters. It's especially fitting that at the time you learn about the girls, the MC also undergoes a change that means he ALSO begins to see the girls in a more humanizing light. The ending made all the characters better.

Pretty fun and creative game, however near the end of the game there are some bugs present near the last areas you have to visit (excluding perhaps the very last location) that can make you glitch over a wall or even out of bounds. However other than the minor glitches here and there, it's a fun experience if you enjoy grinding for a while, it also has an interesting story with quite a few good plot twists.

1-the gamplay is fun and easy.
2-the story is good and kinda make sense.
3-the erotics scenes are hot (but a bit short).
4-the ambient and the music are well done.
5-the characters are lovely (yes i say lovely, specialy the "green stoners").
conclusion: this game was one of those that worth your time (and money), is clear that needs some improvements on certains places, like the scenes (a bit short and with little variety, but the "text" kinda save them), or the missions ( there is no secondary missions, wich in this game is GOOD) but if you wanna have some fun this game is for you.
