pale carnations audio glitch?

Hey, I was finally starting Pale Carnations and I was a few hours in when the audio cut out and nothing I have tried has corrected it. I reinstalled and everything. All sound gone. Also it's not my computer. Only this game.

Have you tried restarting your computer, and check the in-game settings? Also, check windows (I assume you use windows) audio mixing to make sure you didn't zero that specific app's audio.

Yes indeed, sound settings in the game are all maxed. Computer restart was the first thing I tried after I looked at everything in game. It was in the middle of a scene music played then NO music very abruptly.

Sound is controlled through an external DAC and amp. The only app that is muted is Pale Carnations. Spotify and any other games work like normal.

It's very weird. I completely reinstalled it and no change. Like it was in the save files or something but I didn't get any error messages.

Yes indeed, sound settings in the game are all maxed.

Winterfire was referring not to the in-game sound settings, but the windows mixer.
Like here the game ("Magica") is muted overall, no matter the in-game settings. And windows remembers that setting across game-sessions (and maybe even a restart, do not remember).
You get the dialogue from right-mouse-button on the speaker symbol in taskbar. So check there.
