i played abit so prolly can leave it with 4.

main issues for me : art and qol are mediocre
-most fems are not cute enough as far as drawings go (i dont care if you do something unique or go not uncommon disney-style)
-ingame tips are soso. mostly it is clear where to direct all your clicking but as it usually happens the unclear ones consumes your time. ( fan-made external walkthrough exist though on steam)
-navigation between and inside of appartments are not good enough. (id appreciate named doors, and visual differentiation of 2 different buildings insides; and maybe no arrow navigation)
-no timeskipping button. will be of help. (at some occasions i wanted to have time freezing ot time back but non-modded games usually dont have that so not a part of evaluation).
    -time passes weirdly.
-minigame (guitar one) is not cheatable (though some minigames are)
-no instant text skipping (imo that is the main qol feature to have for sbx)
(indeed, u can use use unren, but ud need manually tweak appearing variable 'skipping (0/1)' 0 to 1 after guitar minigame. seems ridiculous that dev completely wipes out such feature (& thus enforces no insta-skipping) to prevent players from failing minigames he should have made skippable-cheatable, or well, made protected from skipping-related issues only for its duration in the first place )

For what it was, I really enjoyed this game. I agree with pretty much everything in fugazi666's review.

One thing I want to talk about is the art.

Games on this site often vary between one extreme for their women (perfect faces and bodies) to the other (off-model, uncanny valley girls). A big part of what kept me coming back to PL was how it captured beauty in a time before plastic surgery, imperfections and all.

I think that's unique. A shame that this project is on hold. A solid plot, cute humour, lovable girls and a chill atmosphere - it was something.

Just one off being an excellent game!
I can live with a few bugs here and there, events not triggering and such even though it's annoying seeing this is a game under development.

However the drawings in this game draws(get it?) it back unfortunately.
Not that they are badly drawn, I really like the atmosphere and art style and the ladies are cute, but their bodies look odd, the private part looks hideous on some women and the animations are unfortunately only 4-5 frames looped.
The UI when the animations are playing is clunky too.

There are some other mechanics that makes the game somewhat

Then where are my stats for reputation with the women and other things which according to my game is "in my inventory" I didn't find where this would be.
My log book tells me about Devil and Angel-points, my achievements completed but not much else, not even how many achievements there are in the game(or current version)

    Anyhow!
I just started my second play through, I must test certain

But I don't have the stamina just now seeing I been playing this game since Wednesday (12/5)

The conclusion is then that I highly recommend downloading and playing this gem!
For my part I'm eagerly awaiting the next version meanwhile I'm going to redirect my pledges.

Not sure how this game isn't getting more attention. I've played quite a few things on here and this is definitely in my top 3. The art is very well done, there is an actual story that isn't cluttered with nonsense and overused clichés. I wish your team all the best because you deserve to succeed.

this is a wonderful and unique game that takes place in 1958. hair styles, fashion, music, technology, everything reflects that era. it's a murder mystery that keeps you wondering and guessing as you try to find out what happened. you are assisted by a notebook of clues you have gathered so far and a what-to-do-next list. there are a lot of cute, pretty, sexy ladies in the game with whom you have some good time. the graphics are simplistic but have a lot of charm to them. paradise lofts is highly recommended for its originality of concept and everything else really.

Adult 2D game with Disney-type comic style that makes it look like a game for kids. Not much adult content here, few non-animated stills or even less. Most characters have just one over generic background. And although art is very simple, gameplay is way too complicated. You can get stuck multiple times, in this sandbox-type, multi-location, time-managment pervert simulator. There's no official walkthrough to help you anyways. What kind of time management is this when friendly chat with your neighbor (Hi, how are you?) costs you 4 hours in-game time. You can literally make 4 things a day (eat, drink, talk, go somewhere) and you're just stuck repeating them everyday (grinding boring conversations to improve character relations.) Would be worth playing if graphics (lewd content) was good. But it's for kids.

Absolutely loved the game! The artstyle is fun, the vintage setting just appealed to me wonderfully, the characters were strong and interesting and the whole game just gives of a great vibe you want to keep explore. There is also a good ol' fashioned murder-mystery to solve!

One of my absolute favourite games around, it just has a great happy vibe to it and it feels skillfully crafted and not just like some cashgrab semi-interactive porno.

Reall hope the developer can keep it going, it certainly deserves support!

Game looks extremly promising, has that diamond in rough feel that fills your soul with hope to see it complete. Hopefully it starts like that and hurts to see the game reach the end. The art animation (while hard to do) have room to improvement, thosugh it helps with the whole feeling

This game is really good I love the unique characters. the sex scenes are a bit like something you would find on a hentai flash site, but it was still fun going around meeting all the characters. I really enjoyed the photoshoots being able to be mean or nice is fun. I can't wait for future updates im definitely going to play them.

Paradise Lofts asserts itself with a new story, separating itself from normal tropes by having an interesting setting, an interesting protagonist and most importantly an interesting plot. Set in the 1950's the game's art and animations are surprisingly good with great attention to detail and an amazing amount of little animations throughout.

The game's playthrough starts out easy, as you explore the different objects and locations and get predictable results (drink some booze, get a bit drunk). It also allows for complete freedom and soon enough the player is getting more familiar with characters, interactions and the world around them. The friendly UI and movement methods are well made, leaving little to no confusion towards the players. This momentum is carried as the player explores more and more and starts to understand that much more of what the plot is, and what truly happened. All of this is accompanied by little sounds which play out through small interactions such knocking on a door, or more relevant moments such as fucking one of the characters.

The game suffers from no performance problems and bugs are only found in testing versions which are promptly fixed by a hardworking developer and the content released each update is great.

Now as you progress on, some puzzles start to get a bit trickier, but nothing too overwhelming, and you can always count on the dev to help you out, whether on the thread or on Patreon.

In terms of h-content a little voyeur action is always available as you get to spy on the increasing amount of characters, that are your neighbours, through your cameras, apart from that easy quests will introduce you to some great looking characters, who have great animated sex scenes, with a great amount of content in-between (have I said "great" yet?)

Overall Paradise Lofts really stands out to me on varied aspects and I can only wish the best for times to come.

    Great premises,

I love the art, some interesting scenes already, interesting story/narration, it's a kind of low effort* (not in a negative way, just low effort for the player meaning it's not difficult) adventure adult game.

Quests and exploration makes the game interesting, and i really like having the main character fooling around with married women or spying on his neighbors.

Quite refreshing and promising. 4* for now but it'll probably deserve 5* soon enough.

Amazing showing for a game so early in. The art is great and the women are attractive and diverse, the adult stuff is excellent and there's enough of it for an early release. The plot is fun and humorous (chuckled at my choices when I went to change his outfit), it flows really well. The play/grind to reward ratio is getting rougher, the in game hint system isn't quite keeping pace with the complexity and open world becoming wider, but it's still on the positive side of fun and it gives more guidance than games that are total random click guessing.

Overall, a good game and I recommend trying.

So far looks interesting, have a nice plot , writting is nice, has animations, for now not much content with the girls but getting more, art is nice . worth to take a look, and if the game keeps improving this is going to be a real nice one.
