So apparently the dev is going to tear everything down and remake it for a uh....how many times is it now? I stopped counting after the like 5th one. Though this time with a bunch of ai "art" that is going to be a soulless attempt at replicating the games original art?

Honestly the ai art so far doesn't look that bad and they did mention they looked for a new artist but no one could match the quality and price they needed

Maybe I'm just more picky, but what I've seen of that AI Art is NOT good compared to when Mode Seven or even some of the other artists were the ones behind the art.

Fuck, its not even GOOD ai art, for all that that counts

I wonder if the community could fund art for a "mod" then the money goes directly to the artists, and the mod becomes a community asset.

You run into find artist then. Like what kind of budget are you thinking for such a mode?
