Unreal Engine - Parasite Inside [v0.3.5] [Kodman]

    Krieger Season 1-6

    Initially this game looks very appealing, it's 3D, animated, and has a very appealing plot, however it is just another re-render of 5 other unreal games, that are basically go all the way from point A to point B , and then all the way to point C. Spend hours to progress minimally and then get a simple generic boring ass sex scene at all. Not worth anyone's time. No fappability, D gets limp within the hour.
    Quite frankly, all the reviews that are positive speak of a future or potential that just isn't coming. Not to mention the accounts that were created specifically for the purpose of rating positively these copy paste games.
    Rating this game more than 1 star is unfair to all the developers that actually want to make a game, even if it comes out cheap, these games only want to release a lot of games in "beta", same formula, same generic scenes, reskinned props and characters, and not improving upon neither of the games. Yes very pretty and impressive graphics at first glance, but then turns out to be just a wooden nickle.

    **Please note, I'll play future versions and probably revise my rating**

    I don't know if anyone else had this issue, but the game was very demanding on my PC (not that it's very good, RTX 3060, Ryzen 7 5700, 16GB RAM). I ran more demanding games without any problems.

    The setting is the strong point, really good.

    The graphics are good, especially for the scenarios and characters. They're nice, but in the cutscenes, they were a bit strange.

    The gameplay is good too.

    I didn't really like the cutscenes; I found the movement very clunky.

    Overall, the game is good. I had high expectations before playing, and it fell a little short of expectations, but anyway, it's a good game.

    Anything lower would be an insult. This is not a competed game, it will have issues and lack of content. Mechanic-wise there are features that could be added or expounded upon, but can't complain. As far as a game that is in development with actual game play and content to be found this is next tier. Play-ability is near seamless, graphics are top notch, cut-scenes are near AAA. Would like to see minor additions to increase customization or view character stats , but ultimately this is a high quality game and when completed will likely be a must play.

    The game looks like shit
    The animations are so basic you could probably replicate them before you're old enough to see them
    The character model is ass and not in a good way
    The textures are shite
    The performance is shite
    The game is nearly bloody empty. It's a walking simulator with the occasional extremely loud jumpscare sound.
    The graphics are abysmal. Dev probably toggled on every single UE5 "optimization" setting he possibly could have and called it good. No proper LOD's, no baked shadows as far as I can tell even though they could have been used in many, many places, ghosting, heavy dither to work around what I assume is lumen.
    There are barely any scenes and even the ones that exist are crap.
    How this has 3.5 stars is completely beyond me.

    There are no pros to playing this. It's a waste of time.

    The game started off promising, but so far haven't delivered on any of the promises or possibilities it could've had. Slow, very uninspired, and filled with AI generated content. It's the typical UE shooter game, where most of the time you do puzzles in the dark, or crouch in the dark.

    THE GOOD:

    - Hot character model
    - Okay story and worldbuilding

    THE BAD:
    - AI generated art and voice
    - Generally uninspired and slow movement and controls
    - Delivers basically nothing on the "parasite" aspect

    THE UGLY:
    - Usual UE4/5 performance and gameplay
    - Dev self-censored and removed the only good NSFW scene for no reason

    5/10 at max. Could easily be more if the game would actually focus on its themes and would have a faster pace. But the sluggish progression, AI slop and 0 focus on its central themes hurts the game to its core.

    I found this overall fairly underwhelming.

    Pros:
    • Runs very smoothly which isn't always common for a unreal game on here.
    • Environments are decent albeit repetitive
    Cons:
    • AI generated collectables are kinda garbage and feel super low effort
    • Voice acting may also be AI, or just bad and robotic
    • Pacing is very slow with long hallways and plenty of crouching through poorly lit air ducts with a useless flashlight
    • Animations are pretty lacking IMO, they all feel slow and a little robotic with minimal motion beyond some simple loops
    • Character model is okay, but is used in multiple NPCs too from the looks of it. Also, the SSS is cranked to like 400% cuz the MC looks like she's made of wax or something at times.
    I think there could be potential here though. Seems they are going for something kind of atmospheric and tense, but are kind of lacking a lot on the environments to tell that story. Some datapads try to add lore/story, but they feel just tacked on.

    I'm really enjoying this game, and not really for the sexual stuff (Although it is good too). This reminds me of the old school PS1 resident evil/Dino Crisis games, but with better gameplay and camera perspective. Also level design here doesn't get enough credit with how the crouching thru vents and corridors leads you around. The developer did a spectacular job weaving a maze that leads you to where you need to go just to unlock a door you couldn't access initially, it's awesome! Lots of backtracking, and some minor puzzles. It's not terrifying, but it's definitely nostalgic. Even the Dialogue is Nostalgic, cause it's just bad LOL, but bad in a good way. I hope whomever made this does many more like this, cause this is definitely it's own Niche type game for those who grew up playing PS1 horror games. My only complaint which isn't even a complaint, but more of a want, is maybe add more items to interact with and, or find. I really enjoy trying to figure out how to access a room I can see, but can't yet get too. Also the characters running animations with and without the gun are great. And I can't forget the MC's Jiggle physics, and the lewd outfits. Just overall, super enjoyable. Plus my 1660 Super which is outdated AF ran this fine, although I had to turn down the performance, but it ran it at Ultra settings, I just didn't want to hear my fans spinning like Jet engines, So I turned my settings down, but everything is good now!

    There is a lot to like here. It's like a low intensity, sexy version of Dead Space.
    The game plays like a maze with door and keys that slowly open up to you. The level design is thoughtful but tedious at times. New concepts are not always properly introduced and situations that seem similar often require very different solutions, particularly the electrical puzzles, they're never solved the same way.

    It's very playable in it's current state but some things feel missing or inconsistent. For instance you can seemingly never exceed 'deep infection 10%' and showering gets rid of the 'deep infection' completely.

    The voice acting is adequate. Having voice acting at all is quite nice.

    I hit a bug where I couldn't holster or use my pistol. A reload fixed it.

    The cut scenes feel too slow.

    The costumes are a nice addition but I didn't feel like I wanted to use any of them. The implant system feels unnecessary. The collectible magazines are nice but feel tacked on, in their current iteration they feel like a missed opportunity to expand on the lore of the world. You could for example change them to be magazine covers with headlines that tell you something about the world.

    The core game play loop is traversing the space ship. The main story element is the gradual corruption by the parasite. That is enough to make a fun game. I hope the developer doesn't fall into the trap of adding too many features or systems. I would gladly trade the implant system for another sex scene or another level to explore.

    Great game, flawed, but has a lot of potential.

    Reviewing this as of v0.3.5. There aren't many high quality adult 3D games. This one is, though. If you were to play this censored, it would still be a pretty solid indie game, and that speaks volumes for it. It's fun finding the cards and costumes. As of the time of writing this, I've found 25/30, and I'm close enough to the end that I think I have to accept I won't find the other five in this runthrough. Good story told mostly through email you find. If you paid zero attention to the story, the theme, attractive MC, and tension still carry the game well. I also feel the difficulty feels right. Highly recommended.

    This game is a waste of time and is just the worst in every way.

    First you have a useless flashlight that lights up literally nothing yet 90% of the game is pitch black rooms.

    Second your supposed to do a bunch of things and find items yet the game gives ZERO help how to find them and the so called "navigator" implant only shows where the next objective is which is obvious but not where to find the small items that are spread all around the ship where you have to run back and for and check every nook and cranny for.

    Third and most importantly this game runs like absolute dogshit even if you are over the specs that are required to the point where it is straight up unplayable unless you are a masochist. I tried, I really did to get past this and give this game a chance, but after a couple of hours of running through dark rooms with garbage performance I just gave up.

    I don't like to give 1 star reviews ever, but this is an exception due to how horriblly made this game is.

    Don't waste your time.

    This is a game with some insane potential. Ive imagined a game like this for a long time, but didnt think anyone would actually make it. But this game is awesome if you like tentacle/parasite and monster stuff. The sci fi atmosphere is great. Animations are great. Its got voice acting that is serviceable. The puzzles are interesting and the gameplay is calm which is nice. Outfits are all good.

    Only negatives are that the gunplay needs work, it needs more enemies, and it needs more H scenes. It really just needs more of everything, and to be finished obviously.

    A lot of lewd games crash and burn so hopefully this one gets fully finished because it could definitely be my favorite

    Maintains tense, immersive atmosphere, without jumpscares. Mostly gameplay with pretty well integrated lewd parts. H-scene instead of game over helps the flow.
    Got stuck once due to a stupid oversight, but smooth progression seems possible. Shooting enemies seems diffucult, but running away or just getting infected is an option.
    Runs well, only minor technical issue I encountered was camera clipping through walls in some narrow places.

    What is there looks nice and polished already. Has not been in development that long so it is not nearly done.
    So far there is already a lot to explore and get lost in but combat is not really there yet, there is only one type of enemy you can encounter and it is the rush at you and explode type. As such it is a horror game but without any danger the tension is kinda low.
    As of 0.3.1:
    A bunch of scenes and different outfits. Scenes are only now ramping up in intensity if you know what I mean.
    Positives:
    Runs like a dream in maxed out 4k on a 8gb 3070 laptop.
    Curvy women with wobbly bits.
    Already lots to explore, optional loot to be found.
    Negatives:
    Some areas are just too dark, combined with HDR misfiring I sometimes could not see anything. The C-bracelet(?) is supposed to provide light but it doesn't work.
    Some animations look too slow and take too long exacerbated by slow orbiting of the camera around the subject. Some dynamic shots or composition would make it feel more alive.
    Gunplay doesn't really feel right and the sound is a bit weak, but you don't really need it yet anyways.

    To be honest, I dont understand negative feedbacks here. Yes, the game is dark, one model is used on all females, you can get easily lost on the map, there is basically only one enemy, and there are some other issues as well, but I love it! Great story, great graphics, nice MC, awesome animations, awesome game! Definitely looking forward for the story updates.

    OK game, but
    - Lack of diverse body types (size, shape, skin color, etc)
    - AI images for collectables are gross (would not have played if it was tagged)
    - Subtitle text can't change size (very small on 4K)
    - Way too easy to get lost since no indicator on map to show location
    - Too little enemy variety/boring combat
    - Flashlight near useless in dark spaces (and there's a lot of them)
    - Very large amount of walking/backtracking to have stamina system
    Infection system could be better, was hoping for more mutations

    VERSION: 0.3.1

    interesting concept, very easy to get lost on the map some people could get this as a bad thing, and i agree in some cases but here i got got lost, but also i was really inmerse in the game, and the atmosphere is good the eerie sensation, you are not spamed like hell with monsters instead you get to combat little monsters, but the tension built and the constant fear to be atacked or be surprised with something really helps a lot with this aspect, got a really nice optimization runs pretty well on my laptop at 2k (1440p) all ultra,got consistent 70fps.

    Version 0.3.1
    • Too damn dark almost everywhere;
    • Flashlight sucks, too little fov and not working near walls;
    • Sometimes it's hard to find where to go to progress further;
    • 1.5 boring enemies - a small blob on tentacle legs which just rush at us and explodes, and the other humanoid one, we have 2 cutscenes with him, but no sex or combat;
    • No pregnancy for mc so far.

    • Good optimisation;
    • I only encountered one bug, so pretty good;
    • Hot mc;
    • Good graphics for porn game.
    • Smooth animations.

    Overall 3.5 stars for now.

    What could be done to improve the game:
    • Much more enemies variety;
    • Mc pregnancy;
    • Better flashlight;
    • More h content with monsters;
    • Interactive sex scenes not just in the form of cutscenes;
    • Permanent infection debuffs every time you go over 100%

    Nice. I am very entertained by this game. There is suspense and an eerie feeling while you try to find your way around a malfunctioning spaceship while fighting parasites. This is not non-stop porn but rather a slow first person shooter with a bit of sex.

    I think it has a lot of potential, it would be cool to see more animation with different bad endings and more enemies, maybe even some choices. I hope it continues to improve in the next update and i hope in a release on Steam

    One of the best game in its league! Since its still under developement - there will be more awesome scenes and plot twists to come!
    Love the voice and emotion behind it.
    Personally would love for developers to add an entity that would hunt, grabb and fuck you directly!
