Same reason you wouldn't let strangers into a locked apartment building. A breach in security of one account can affect every user on the site. If someone hijacked your account they could spread malware while pretending to be you, using your reputation to trick people into clicking dangerous links or sharing personal details.

I'd argue F95Zone is an "important" site despite it being porn because it's a community of software developers sometimes dealing with sensitive information.

Well, that's if the person that has been hijacked even has a reputation. Those would be the "devoted/uploader/doner/developer" etc accounts.

And maybe the site should have something that checks links to make sure they are safe (kinda like how steam does it) if that's possible to do here, anyways. So many things could be fixed and easy to deal with, if only the site had the stuff it needs for them.

You really should be using a password manager anyways. You never know when one of these websites gets compromised so you need unique passwords. A password manager will generate unbreakable passwords for you and you'll never have to think about it again.
