Patreon and legal name

I make nsfw animations on patreon, when i signed up for a patreon account i was too paranoid to give my real information and entered a fake name for legal name on my patreon account.
Now in order to withdraw money from patreon i'm required to fill 'W-8BEN' tax form and link my payoneer account with patreon. I not sure if it is a good idea to enter fake information on 'W-8BEN' form, so i was thinking about changing legal name to my real name on my patreon account, but i'm worried if i make changes to legal name it will cause trouble or they will ask me for proof of my legal name.
Can someone give me advice on this?

Also, can patreon see my name on payoneer account if i link it?

btw, any of this won't cause me a issue with tax man, because anything i earn on patreon is exempted from income tax in my country(don't even have to report it). but making porn is illegal not sure about 3d porn tho

Never a good idea to lie in tax forms. I think if you change your name in Patreon they won't care all that much. The question is why did you lie in the first place.

Is that a stupid question? a LOT of people don't like to use their real info about themselves on websites for privacy reasons obviously.

I was too scared to give my real info because i make some controversial porn. tbh i don't care about us tax laws that much. i'm just worried i'll get banned from patreon.

Change your name on Patreon and if they ask why, just tell them the true. It's definitely not a good idea to lie on tax forms. As long as you didn't get money from Patreon before that, I don't think they will have a problem because it's an understandable concern over all.

Then, if you're asking if using your real name on Patreon to do 3D porn when apaprently is illegal in your country is a good idea, you should ask people from your country.
