Dev has a pretty good foundation for an adult game here. Note I said FOUNDATION. Is the game serviceable today? Yes, you can play it and do the deed. However, it's definitely not the best. What will make it the best is if dev expands on what is here to the extreme. More unique poses, more unique storied characters, more unique dialog, etc.

The gameplay loop, it must be said, is... fine. It sucks because there is really only one way to play it and that way is pretty obvious immediately. however, the girls' moods and unique personalities add a bit of flavor... Sometimes I got upset when a girl immediately refused my offer that she would have haggled on the day before. The gameplay could definitely stand to improve but it's fine... And I think it's fine enough for dev to focus on what we really care about: the adult stuff.

I hope one day to come back and increase my rating to 4 or maybe even 5 stars. It's fine today, and it has a lot of room to grow, but if dev walks away anytime soon then 3 I think is fair.

A game for a couple of evenings. Animations 7/10. The gameplay itself is quite original. There's a fairly large range of customization options for each character. The game may be new, but it still has some content.

EDIT: Had to change my review to 1 star because of a fatal flaw in the core game mechanics:

Had all girls maxxed, had 20k cash, was unlocking outfits then for some reason ALL the girls simply stopped buying.
Only selling, selling, selling items.
This goes on for days. now I am at -1703 in case with NO way to get out of it.
I have ONE item in Invetory worth 2930 but no one is buying anyhting.
So this pretty much completely ruined the game for me.
And because of the dumb save system, I can't go back...
So... Game over for me. Utterly ridiculous game mechanic.

Graphics are better than average AI, some scenes are animated-ish (looping).
Gameplay is very (too?) easy. If you simply buy low sell high and keep some reserves, you'll never run out of money so why is there an annoying big black "CHEAT" button in the interface?

The gameplay sadly becomes very repetitive very quickly and in the end you'll just be sludging through meaningless transactions in te hope of getting the customer/NPC where you still have to unlock something and that gets tiresome VERY quickly. I reached that point after about 4 hours of gameplay.

The "logic" is a bit of an issue too where sometimes a raise of $50 on a $100 item makes no difference but going up $5 on a $2500 item works.

I do like the fact that customers have "personalities" and need to be treated differently. It is pretty much the only thing preventing you from just mindlessly clicking through every transaction.

But the biggest NOPE is the UI. In dialog options the buttons often seem to be switched and do the opposite of what you wanted to do. This happens often enough to become really frustrating, especially when you're dealing with a "rare" NPC. The interface itself is outright clunky too.

And then there's the overly repetitive dialog. Do we REALLY have to exlain to Lillian how things "work" every single time we ask her for "help"?

"Home" is a disappointment too, your room si the same as the living room, Cassia options are limited. SOme more Cassia content would be nice. Add her bedroom, a bathroom and your own room and for god's sake remove the 3 social links and the C H E A T button from the home room.

I undertsand this is a work in progress and that is why I am writing this review, because it HAS the potential to be an enjoyable game, it just needs a bit of streamling, QC and UI redesign. Just adding characters is not going to fix that. Fix the core first, then expand.

great game with a nice and simple gameplay mechanic. Animations are pretty good to. Managing money isn't really that hard to do. Honestly the game is great, not to hard. Just a nice and relaxing game.

The AI art isnt too egrogious imho, the Images pass the finger test so some QC has been done on them. AI animated scenes are something I still find a little jarring, but I appreciate the effort!

Gameplay loop is Surprisingly solid and the higlight on the game imho. Balancing the "Buy low -> sell high -> pay rent at end of week or game over" loop with essentially bribing women for sexual favours actually requires a little strategy.

My Issue comes with the UI and story. The UI is pretty generic and clunky, it feels like you shoehorned Reccetear into renpy and called it a day, it's functional but leaves alot of room for improvement imho.

Story might be coming in later but for now there isnt much to say about it.

Good game!
The main game loop (buy/sell stuff, improve shop etc ) is fun and addictive, the lewd part adds to it,
It's AI CG but it's ok, there's some animations too but then girls look a bit different from the CG hentai style
Already a lot of content with a dozen of customers, 2 employees, and 4 NPC
Game balance is a bit off, esp Rina arrived way too late and I've played like 40 days for her and her daughter while having maxxed out the customers and other NPC
Also clothes for customers are too expensive and you're better waiting for them to unlock

It is indeed a Pawn Shop Simulator. The systems of the game a very good, reminds me of Moonlighter shop systems, which is great. You can change characters clothes and upgrade yourself and your store.

The game feels very grindy and I feel very poor while playing but at the same time I can see that I'm advancing, very good gameplay loop.

The art is done with AI but bro knows how to do animations with LoRAs and probably have a nice ComfyUI setup cuz the animations look good, maybe he also retouches it on some edition program later, no idea. It feels consinstent tho, which is good.

The game is still a little bare but its a new game, I will keep looking into new versions of this one.

Tried this game for a few days, I must admit at first I didn't liked much, the mix of Ai art, with too "anime" looks doesn't please me much.

But then why five star?

Simple, gameplay! It's addictive!
I'm straight girl I Don't like to see tits or nude girls, i like games with hot male mcs, like Karden! Heh, yet i kept playing over and over watching the scenes, collecting, upgrading, buying, selling, i must say the gameplay gave me a lot of fun at the point i paused my Fallout London marathon to play it a bit more!

Pretty novel and fun idea for a game, with a great set of characters and actually good use of AI generated assets. The newly added animations are very nice too and seem hand made which is a big plus and helps the game stand out a bit.

The gameplay loop can be a little grindy at times and I think the UI could be improved for a better flow, but nothing that can't be tweaked as development goes on.

Keeping a close eye on this one for sure.

Sorry I cannot understand how this game is around 3.8/5 (which is for me average but playable game).
There is nothing to do except doin,g the same loop over and over again (buying low, selling high, refusing or asking sexual favors).
Each lewd scene isn't even interesting soo it's a pass for me.

Too little content, especially for typical ai generated art
Pair animations, mostly static images (with variables static costumes, but it braindead barby), boring text.
At this moment (0.4.4) its just another patron milker, not a game.
Been watching for this demo pretty long time, but I see almost no development. If it release some day i can get another try

Decent idea but the game feels uninspired and too grindy.
I find the gameplay loop boring and unrewarding. The tags say animated but everything i've seen was just a single image and when the MC cums it's interrupted with a white flash screen.
Some "sex scenes" have no images at all.
The sound during sex is awful and the background music is boring.
The AI characters look pretty good and you can buy them outfits.
But I think those lack variety and I wish there would be sluttier outfits.
I'll revisit the game at a later date and update the rating if it improves.

Tried cause it looked somewhat promising on screens, enough to download that 250mb.

- Art is Ai, if someone likes this stuff i dont judge, for me it looks unnatural and boring. Scenes are not animated so its just a .jpeg picture, sometimes with tiny animation. When character cums there is big white flash screen which i hate with passion. Some H scenes were ok.

- Music/sounds are low quality or doesnt exist for most part, you might play aswell with no sound

- gameplay - boring, bid slightly lower when you buy something, and higher when you sell, characters sometimes offer H solutions or you have to ask them for it. There are also few upgrades. Honestly watching paint dry on wall seems more interesting than this. I played one good non-hentai game with similiar management system style and somewhat enjoyed it, but overall its boring gameplay loop. Whole fun of this sytem is how characters are made and their reactions.

characters - looked ok, honestly you could change one of girls hair color and call it a new character and no one would notice

Surprisingly good. I did play a similar game to this, managing a store. So I kinda know the rope and jump right away to gameplay. What caught me off guard is, this game has soul and a mechanic that somewhat can keep me playing without getting bored or frustrating.

What I like the most about Pawn Pleasure is all the girls in game have their own personality. Guarantee your experience with them will be different. It takes time to learn and get familiar with the game mechanic but once you got a hold to it, you can speed through the process.

It's a good game but I think there are still rooms for improvement. Like the buildup for each girl stop after you unlock "sex". I want to be able to build the relationship further than just pump and dump each time we make a bargain. For example, even though I unlocked "sex" with Gabrielle, her bratty attitude still make me want to correct her and make her submitted to me more. Same go with other girls, "sex" is not the final destination that I'm looking forward to. Since each girl are unique on their own, I want to be able to do more with them.
And also please add more scenes with the NPCs, it's a waste of materials if they only have a couple of scenes and some don't even have an intercourse.

An AI game that manages to stand out through a satisfying yet simple gameplay loop. My wish for the future is the continued refinement of character skill progression and the addition of more complex and longform npc event chains that makes longtime play worthwhile.

Gameplay is pretty enjoyable, I like management aspect of it and the whole haggling element is simple but not completely braindead, I like that in porn games.
I like repetitive part of the content, looking forward to see more story and shop development. Changing costumes is one of my favorite things as well, hope to see kinkier options in the future

Absolutely just sank a couple hours just playing the game at my own pace and enjoying the interactions. This is by far not a polished game by any means and it's AI CG with no animated characters, but still great game and visuals. The core gameplay is already perfect, the only thing that needs updating is the porn aspect.

Would love to see further game improvement by:
1. More emphasis on the slow "corruption" or "addiction" that each girl experiences. (changes in their dialogue/mood/price points)
2. A more logical linear progression with each girl (Why can she give me a handjob before the option to take her clothes off shows up?)
3. More distinctive personalities for some of the girls. Currently maybe 3 or 4 of them that are unique personalities with the others being largely interchangeable.

Overflowing with potential! Love the core gameplay, would like more spicy porn additions in the gameplay (rather than just additional CG blowjob/handjob/etc)

Good

1. Tutorial included. Shows static images of the game with an overlay telling you what to do.
2. Ability to change the shape of the dialogue panel so it’s pushed to one side of the screen instead of on the bottom
3. Some of the Special Discount sex scenes have branching choices to make
4. One NPC, Bethany the police officer, is a ‘customer’ that just comes to have sex with you
5. Spend money to unlock potential outfits for each customer. When the customer visits, they wear a random outfit.
6. You live with an NPC that you can always trigger multiple sex scenes with

Issues

1. Bad English grammar and spelling
2. Zero music during the prologue, just a cumming sound effect
3. The menu listing NPCs has two blacked out silhouettes, suggesting NPCs you haven’t met. However, you can click those silhouette buttons and then see the different outfits of that fully revealed NPC
4. The first time a customer had a possible event, the explanatory text scrolled by very quickly and then the customer left. I didn’t know what to do. I had to unlock the “Special Discount lvl 1” perk first.
5. The dialogue panel doesn’t remember whether you adjusted its size to the side of the screen. Have to press the button to do it every time.
6. When negotiating with a customer, after offering a special discount, there’s no way to back out of that menu.
7. The Offer Price input field allows you to input letters
8. If the customer is buying my item, it limits my offer price by the amount of money I have. That doesn’t make sense.
9. There’s no way to know what scenes you’ve unlocked per customer

I don't like when games are unnecessarily not made in renpy. But, the whole bargaining system would probably be much less convenient in renpy, so I think that's fine. The system is pretty solid as a whole.

I would like if if there could be animations, but the AI art is pretty solid as a whole, and there's generally a couple bits of it.

I don't approve of only having a windows version, but I generally like godot. Would appreciate if other versions were released, but I can work with the system regardless.

The pawn business is generally pretty fun, but people do leave after 3 offers, and sometimes over a difference of only 10. I feel like you should get more chances if you're particularly close.

Everything else...just needs more development time. But, has potential.
