Paypal blocked account? (for supporting trough patreon)?

Ok so today i got blocked on paypal i have no idea why and i'm not 100% sure patreon is the reason. But just wanted to throw a warning out there, because other then supporting on patreon i use it for buying games on steam and pretty much nothing else, so the only thing i can imagine it being is patreon support. I never charged back ,all payments went trough. And the creator i supported is pretty vanilla no weird niche fetishes or anything(and sinse it's patreon everything should be following paypals rules). Anyway really weird and just a word of warning.

do you buy adult games on steam? they allow more extreme things than patreon

Have you contacted paypal customer service? and have you received an answer from them?

As one of the companies that refuses to allow it's services to be used by others unless certain restriction are in place / imposed, it will be interesting to see their response.

Hoping though that it's just a technical error.

Yeah hope so, but i've heard that sometimes they don't respond at all. I'll update the thread if i know more.

Yeah i won't get an answer from them. All that happens is that they tell me in need to check their terms and conditions. I tell them i did and i didn't find any infractions and they tell me to check the terms and conditions again. So i'm getting nowhere and i'll never know for certain the cause for this ban.
