This is based on version 0.5
From the very beginning the game doesn't look all that bad. I like how our MC actually worked on himself, becoming a way better person — even though he's done it almost off-screen. However, there is a limit on how big should a man's dick be.
We have our normal "not mother" and "not sister" heroines, the schoolgirls, school staff and so on. And even if they are diverse in appearance, their personalities are defined (not only described) by a single word combination, similarly to games like Koikatsu. Like "horny nurse", or "shy (but perverted, it's a porn game, duh) bookworm", or "typical schoolgirl", or "delinquent". I get it, when you have so many characters, you can't just make all of them engaging, but that's still worth pointing out, because no matter how many different hair colors they have, they are still pretty much forgettable.
The sandbox part is implemented poorly. It works somewhat, but there's nothing to do most of the time. There are no activities at "early morning" except 2 repeatable shower scenes with 3 total renders. No activities at school, except quest-related.
But those are not the biggest problems. The two biggest ones are these: first, the order of story events is broken. I remember having MC refer to Nozomi and teacher's conversation on the roof before it even happened. That is not okay at all, considering how the dev specifically made a system with quest unlocking progress. Secondly, locking events to specific weekdays is a terrible practice. My example: at the beginning I missed the chance to talk to a girl that was cleaning the classroom and went to do "not sister"'s quest instead. And since that cleaning girl's quest was the only one left for me to unlock further quests, I had to skip through the WHOLE WEEK to get a chance to trigger the event. To be honest, that girl is probably the only one with such timing restrictions, but that's not the only situation! When we exposed the perverted teacher, the game automatically skipped to night, and since it was the only day to trigger her next event, guess what I had to do again.
Some elements are simply pointless, like money. You don't even use it in the game except to buy drinks which change nothing at all. I can probably guess that it's there for future gameplay additions, but the game has already had a lot of releases, and judging by the changelog, before the 0.5 version you couldn't even spend it at all.
The only repeatable "activities" we have now are "hi how are you im fine" conversations at home and school (why are they even in the game) and lazy sex scenes, which are actually the same ones as in the story but with simplified dialogue.
To me, the sole point in these sandbox mechanics' existence is to issue patreon polls on what girl to do next, because such system allows it easily.
Speaking of dialogues, they are lazy as well. I'm not talking about ingrish, but about the actual content: the text is skippable most of the time. The lines are quite cringey sometimes, like the blonde MMA girl always talking about how impressed she is by the MC.
However I can't say the plot is terrible. It's normal for the most part.
Choice system is at least interesting in concept. But the fact is that you either are a completely “nice guy”, or a genuine dickhead. If you want to show at least some initiative, the game marks you a fearsome brute.
The graphics are mediocre. Other HS games showed us how much you can improve the default HS picture, so it pales in comparison to them. Also the game’s size is huge, even with compressed webms. Why? Because the dev decided to loop the animations in the file, instead of making a programmed loop, reducing file sizes. Also, the dev decided to remove player’s control during the animations, which is very annoying. Thankfully, you can simply skip them, since you won’t miss anything important anyway.
Overall: I do not mean to attack the dev or the game, I simply wanted to point out things I personally disliked and view as mistakes. I might have been harsh, but maybe the dev will look at this review and improve the game somehow.
