Ren'Py - Peaches Are Not the Only Fruit [v0.06(b)] [Vivien]

Love this game!

The first thing to enjoy is these wonderful characters, who look much more like actual real fat women than in most games. On top of that, the writing is excellent- a serious cut above the vast majority of games on this site- and I enjoy the complex, branching nature of the storylines.

This isn't a harem game where you'll be able to pursue every woman simultaneously. Instead, it's a collection of excellent storylines, of which you'll be able to pursue one or two per game; go in with that knowledge and you'll have a great time.

I've seen some comments on the difficulty of the puzzles here, but honestly I can't agree- they weren't all that perplexing.

Give this a shot if you like big women and excellent writing- if those are your jam you'll have a great time. I loved it.

I really enjoy this game, it is extremely well written and while I find the graphics... eh, it does not ruin the experience at all! What I really want, and feel this game needs, is an in-game walk-through.

While I do enjoy the game, I am extremely lazy and I really don't like reading a walk-through and needing to constantly switch between the walk-through and the game. The end-of-day messages are nice, but the conditions for some of these scenes are ridiculous. The latest update, Rachel, is a prime example of being too complicated (in my opinion).

Some people like the grind of seeing what choices result in what scenes, but I do not. I really enjoy the scenes, but I would love to have an in-game walk though instead of bashing my head against the wall, giving up, reading the walk through, then finding out I made one wrong decision 10 decisions ago.

Overall, I really like the game, its just frustrating feeling like I need an external walk-through.

To the developer, please know the my review is literally coming from a place of trying to give you constructive criticism. I truly want your players to have a fun and enjoyable experience. And you actually do have some good bones here to make a good VN. With that said I do have issues with a few things that made it impossible for me to actually wan to continue with this title.

I've tried going through this VN several times and gotten dozens of different endings now. So it is entertaining. but Rachel's path is so incomprehensible that it broke me. I won't be back for this the continuation of this and sadly I won't be looking at supporting the dev in further projects. I've followed guides to try and unlock all possibilities I may of missed and I genuinely could figure out the other paths on my own. Which is good. Most endings are actually obtainable and make sense.

I actually appreciate the Dev's notes at the end of each path. Most of the time they're helpful. Pam's corner store maze nearly broke me too but I eventually looked it up and learned about the clock. I honestly can't comprehend the motive behind that nonsense. Why was this suddenly a maze. Felt like the MC got transported to a shopping store backrooms. Then there's Rachel's path ... fuck me.

Seriously? How do you think this is anything but frustrating? If I want frustration in a game I'll go play a FromSoftware title for few hours. This is a VN. It doesn't need to be this complicated. Rachel's true ending in my opinion (Doggystyle Creampie) simply doesn't trigger. I followed a path laid out by someone else in this vary community and it won't work. This doesn't make sense to me at all. So rather than continue what has become a mind numbing insanity trip of a VN I'll just move on and leave you with some actually constructive criticism.

Dear developer, consider beautifying some of your models. I know attraction is subjective, but I've genuinely known plenty of big women who actually have beautiful faces and shapely sexy bodies without looking like plastic or a pile of puddy. If you need to references I'm sure there are plenty in the porn industry.

Next, stop getting stuck on creating convoluted paths that only you understand. Seriously, in every scenario I could think of at least two other ways each could reach the exact same conclusion while continuing on the same dialogue by simply having the MC conduct different actions or dialogue. Sadly for some reason you've pigeon holed poor guy with only one main way of obtaining a goal. Now I get it. In some cases this is just fine. When the answers are relatively self explanatory there's literally no reason to make multiple solutions for the same outcome. Like I said, I get it. But other times it feels like an exorcise for the socially psychotic. No one but you knows why that's the only answer to your puzzle game. And yes you are making a puzzle game now when you have 10 supposed outcomes from one event but several are the same and only one has a correct path. It's not a VN anymore at that point. That goes way beyond choose your own adventure.

Finally, please try to remember who your player base is. We aren't stupid. We just don't follow your rational when it's not made logically evident. Remember we're primarily here to enjoy your story. We want to come to the multiple outcomes you've prepared but those outcomes must make sense. So there needs to be more than one way to reach each outcome unless you're going to give out hints on how to get there. Model's facial expressions to dialogue choices for instance can be an invaluable asset to the player gauging their choices. NPC dialogue responses are also helpful in telling your story for the player to see if what they're choosing is effective or not.

Other ways to instantly help your players are in-game hints. Pam's store shouldn't be a maze. I've already made my statement on that, but if you're going to include something like that and the MC ends up in the same spot more than twice you should immediately give a hint, i.e. "I should check that clock and see if it's broken, I feel like I've been wondering around here for hours." And if that doesn't help the player, and they still end up lost just flat out ask, "would you like to simplify this?" I guarantee the majority will say, "um yeah, why was this a maze to start with?" But at least then you've got a way for them to make progress instead of just giving up.

As for Rachel's path the moment you get her to postulate "suppose I let you fuck me" that should be the trigger for the "Doggystyle" path, full stop. It's plan and simple. The fact it's even included in dialogue with no follow through as a requirement is completely insane to me. In real life, I've never met a woman who would propose anything like that and didn't intend on doing it. Ever. Shit I had a girlfriend ask me "what if I pulled out your cock right here" at a concert. Guess what? My point is that at some point it becomes a rhetorical question.

Anyway, best of luck to the developer in this endeavor and I hope your gamers get a product they enjoy. To anyone who doesn't agree with me and enjoy this, just know that this is my just opinion and it's okay that you enjoy something I don't. However, I do suggest you give the developer feedback on the good and bad so they can make the best product possible for you. Also please support the devs you truly enjoy. F95 is great community and these developers work hard to end up giving a lot of this stuff away in hopes we'll support them. So make sure you consider it from time to time.

I'm in complete agreement with fanboi. The writing and thought put into this game, in addition to the artwork and detail put into the body types (which are very underrepresented in adult games), makes it a diamond in the rough for me. I've thoroughly enjoyed it so far, and can't wait to see more from this creator.

Peaches Are Not The Only Fruit is a refreshing oasis In a barren desert lacking quality BBW-focused games. There are many things I love about this game, including these three:

1. The writing is excellent. Characters react realistically and have interesting personalities and backgrounds. When you do get more intimate, it means something because you easily believe that the women would react that way.

2. Beautiful body shapes abound. BBWs are all over, which is wonderful and sexy enough, but there's no attempt to have the women look unrealistically hourglass or just with big boobs. There are plenty of sexy bellies, double chins, etc. to go along with those beautiful big breasts and butts.

3. You get to help hot fat women become more comfortable with themselves and to give the middle finger to your idiot co-worker who wants to insult them. I really like being able to do this and not in a creepy way, which it's way to easy to make it sound like. The quality writing helps here.

Overall, this is an excellent game. The writing is incredible (I mean, compare it to most games on this site - it's night and day) and the women are super sexy. I always want to see what happens next. If you have an interest in big women, good adult writing, and sexy situations, I highly recommend you try it.

I don't know where to begin, but this game is very well done. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in realism or BBWs. The women are delectable, the writing is plausible, the protagonist is likable and the story is relatable. It's a little silly for all the women to be as big as they are, but I'm not complaining. As long as there doesn't end up being an absurd harem route. Which I doubt there will, since I can tell a lot of love and respect went into making this as of v0.04. Most evident in this is the fact that the game is entirely free. It's not tied to a Patreon or trying to sell itself as anything more than a love letter to real women and the people who appreciate them. Unlike the vast majority of hentai games out there. That's how you know this was made with good intentions. And if that's enough, there's even a small easter egg message in the game when you try to interact with a certain shitty character. [Hint: Talk to Bob in the cafeteria.]

I can't wait to play more of this, and I hope it gets to be as nasty as it can in the future. Nasty in a good way.

Good game, there's enough entertainment to go around, very easy to understand the English which is a plus, I just wish there's more content though it's quite a short game for a game there's 2 years old.
But I'll be waiting patiently for next updates.

Very little content considering it's been out for well over 2 years. I suppose that is to be expected given that there have only been 4 updates.

The faces are pretty creepy looking and all kinda look the same, like someone shoved an air hose up their ass. But other than that they all look pretty neat and could lead to some really fun/sexy scenes. The graphics have all been done up very nicely and the game hums along nicely with no errors or hiccups.

Game isn't too bad, there are some curious points in the story such as where you are supposed to choose a couple Li's from a list of ladies, some of whom I hadn't even met.

Would really be neat if there were a few skinny females in there as well that you could interact with.

this is just my cup of tea right here. Some mature bbw women, ah. And i get much more interest in games where women are looking "plain" and maybe even a bit ugly, than these barbie girl games. I really like the story so far, i get it that its just in the beginning and theres not lot of sex just yet, but i like so much where this is going already!

Well written and realized. An actual branching story with consequences. I'm eagerly anticipating future releases to see where this goes. I'm a connoisseur all sorts of different fruits so I'm quite enjoying the game so far.

After playing through Peaches Are Not The Only Fruit 0.02 or 'PANTOF' (that kind of acronym is always a good start) several times now and finding all of the current possibilities I have to say my overall opinion so far is that it's excellent.

I felt myself anxious for the next installment (I honestly cant remember the last time I played an incomplete game and got the same sense of anticipation) and to discover where the story leads and the encounters that come with it.


The game focusses around a male protagonist (namable) as he initially finds himself somewhere to live and then his first day/s at a pharmaceutical company. I found the visuals excellent (I am an English guy) and the whole thing really did feel like it could be set in my town, from the town centre in the initial screen to the house you stay in, the pub, the alleyway. All of them could easily have been in my neighborhood and that was unlike a game I had played before.
I guess if you happen to live in Malibu or Monaco youre used to the swish settings most of these kind of games boast.

I also found the ladies so far to be very intriguing/interesting at the absolute least - I have read through many comments about the way some of them look and I have to argue that this is is actually far more accurate and realistic of say my local town than anything else I've ever played.
Whilst perfect looks, figure of 8 bodies, silicone boobs and immaculate complexions are great and have their place - how often do you actually meet people like that? For myself the answer would be never and so again this is another level of realism offered. I thought the ladies available were a much more accurate depiction of of senior and middle aged, housewives than any other I'd played to date.

As these visual novels for many (including myself) are often used as a way to act out ones own fantasy/ies - hence the ability to change names of characters and become part of the story - I can say this one totally grabbed hold of me and I found It was VERY easy to imagine myself part of this scenario - a feat I think most devs set out to achieve.

The storyline and dialogue are well written, often humorous and again (as an English guy) the words, slang etc really added another sense of realism and were relatable for me.

As well as the BBW, mature, housewife style tags this game may have already received, I think you could definitely add voyeurism to them, with many of the scenes allowing either upskirt/downblouse again presented very naturally. On top of this the inclusion of pubic hair. Very rarely do these games ever have any and if so it always looks "for the sake of it" I thought that was again done very naturally and far more realistic than in other games. I think these small details alone would set it apart from the norm.


I havent before played a game like this one and unless someone can correct me I think it currently stands alone in what it's trying to accomplish. I don't know anything about the developer or any of their previous projects, however if this is their first then it deserves even more kudos and if not I'd definitely been interested in anything else they've created.


I thought hard about any criticisms I had so that this could be as subjectively as possible, but I honestly dont really have any.
Sure a "replay gallery" would be nice, I guess.. Personally I wouldnt care either way and if you make use of the huge amounts of save blocks this can be achieved yourself anyway.

I eagerly await the next edition and implore anyone whose not given this a go to do so. Don't judge by the few screenshots, give it 30 mins of your time.

Ok gonna be blunt, it's not an awesome game, but if it is your 1st project don't mind at all, it's a rather good start.

Some terrible assets choices but its something you learn along the way.
Rendering in layer give you speed, but you need to do it properly but it's a good start.
Using real picture doesn't help (at all) but you did somewhat a good job.

Lights are sometime way way² too bright (fast to render but not really great). TONE DOWN, bring contrast and shadows -> bring life.

Hair cap glitch. Come on it's 2021, it shouldn't be happenning. I can understand noise or even not really great render somewhat but THIS IS VERY LAZY and want to close the game instantly (and I'm the laziest person in the world).

Obese milf are not my kink (but I don't hate it either). Not sure how to put it, but most skins are not really good. Lot could be done it that departement. Pose and facial expression are far from the best to say at least but it's something you learn by repetition.

Good point for blinking eyes, make things more lively. General navigation is a bit confusing (emergency exit to go eating), some highlight/description (lab) should be welcome.

Five stars minus one for hair cap (got PSTD). If it's your first project it's a good start.

Review for v0.02

You get what you see, if you're into MILFs & BBWs this is for you. Game is decent sized for second release, around 30-40 mins gameplay. There are 4 scenes, no sex yet, but they're hot. There are also a lot of branching paths, doesn't look like it'll be a harem game.

Gameplay is a bit unintuitive, some of the map navigation elements are difficult to distinguish if not paying attention. There is no grind yet. It's easy to miss some scenes without a Walkthrough.

Characters have good body models for BBWs, but the faces need a lot of work, I understand most of them are MILF's, but they actually look like GILFs. And it's not just the wrinkles that make them look unappealing, they're morphed, shaped and textured badly. They all look like they took a sauna bath in a Chernobyl reactor.

My only complaint is about the faces, they need to be reworked/remodelled. The way it is, the females are a literal definition of Butterface. It's impossible to get yourself off while looking at their faces.

I would have rated it lower but BBW games are rare and this is worth trying, I just hope the faces are redone. Visuals are everything in an Adult VN, without good visuals you might as well read a book. If the faces are touched-up, this game is a 5 Star,

A BBW/Mature women game that I felt is a refreshing change to a lot of the current models. If this tag/fetish is not for you than that's fine just move onto the the next one. However if is to your liking than I would recommend giving this one a try. In its current stage it is not a lot of content but enough to give you a little taste of whats to come. I commend the dev for pursuing a direction that THEY wanted and I look forward to following this project.

Although the faces of girls in preview pictures aren't really attractive, I wanted to overcome my first thought. So I downloaded the game and played it.
And contrary what i was first thinking, I was nicely surprised
There's lots of different paths to explore, i didn't played all yet, the story is a funny and challenging because you've to chose with women you want to seduce as you can't have all, at least not in the current version.
Most of the BBW are sexy and more attractive than we could figure out in the preview pictures.
So i really enjoyed play this game and are now waiting for updates.
If you like this type of girls, i recommend you to at least give it a try and download it.

This is in fact a very nice game, ok, you will have to be in love with the more 'chubby' type of woman, but I'm into it. I like tits, a lot, and these women happen to have them, NICE !
But I also appreciate the easy going story, not overly complicated, but with a few choices that either will give you another path in the future, or will give you another dialogue.
And the best point in this game is the very 'hot' dialogue with one of the sex scenes, excellent dirty talk, haven't seen that in too many games on this site, so way to go Dev, keep that up please !
It's a VN, but there is a 'money' counter, which most of the time is a warning for grinding, but not in this game ! It's made very clever by the Dev, because you will have to watch out what you wanna do with your money, you might miss out on some other opportunities after spending some to get into a girls panties
