First question, have you manually edited anything (literally anything), or used a mod other than Spicy or Gnomes? Doing those things can bork your game.

No not really, i only installed spicy and gnomes. I really dont want to lose my progress since im 21 hours in lol. I've thought about messing with variables to see if i can fix it but decided not to in order to not mess anything up even more.
Do you have a Save from before this became an issue? (You are using those save slots regularly, right?

7 hours, urgh. Post your current save here and someone should be able to take a look at it for busted things. You could also go to the game's discord, there's a help channel in the public section. Help, my mc dead dog is not and game not game over, how can I revive him , I sleep but hp not recovery can't use healing item too.

I am sorry incase this is a repeating question but haven't found a relevant answer which helps. I last played the game when we didn't have that affection cheat and had a tree stump to flower for cheating and that small 1x1 grid room in weird wood to farm gold, and various potions. So I tried the same in the current update and it seems like the tree stump thing doesn't work anymore and the door remains locked.
So my question is, is there a way to open that door through tricks like the tree stump or do we have to find its key or something similar. Any help would be appreciated.

dont install those, install the gnome and Spicy mods
those are the content he is missing , those 2 will break the game.

that is the whole rundown of the new cheat system.
Party members revive after a fight when the "fight ends step" happens. Some fights don't have a "fight ends," they go directly to a cutscene so there's nothing to trigger reviving them. And non-fight things that can kill you (ex: the lightning bridge) can also kill party members outside of a fight. (This can cause bizarre things like a "dead" person talking to you in a cutscene...)
Doggo will revive when you have a "fight ends." Go whack a goblin or something.
