Ren'Py Persistent Save Files on Android?

Thing is, my until now used "Windows Adult VN Laptop" is crushing and looses battery life extremely fast.
So i kinda want to switch to an Android Tablet again, but i remember, a few years ago, every time i uninstalled a Renpy VN from my Android-Tablet the save files were uninstalled too. Is this still a thing, or are save files now persistent when i uninstall a VN.

They do not uninstall with the game. You have to find them and delete manually.
