Ren'Py - Completed - Personal Trainer [v1.1.1] [Domiek]

Aside from all the renders and girls (Which are great) the thing that really makes this game great is the dialogue and how the relationships with certain characters are built up.

Strongly recommend this one

I can't recommend this game simply because it suffers from two major flaws.

The first is the repetition. The game lets you roam freely around various locations and all the woman are on a needlessly complicated schedule as to where they'll be at certain times of the day.

The problem here is the same scene will play over and over even if you are following the schedule for a particular woman. It makes literally zero sense story wise having the same conversation with your cousin at breakfast over and over day after day, or her in her room watching the same show every night on a laptop regurgitating the same lines.

The same can be said with your boss telling you she's working on financial reports practically all day every day and can't chat. Also, the woman pretending to be caught under a table you can have sex with. You get the same scene every time. It would be better to just not have these people available at these times, but then it would mess with the schedule system I guess. Note: these are just a few of many examples of this.

The second flaw is that the sex scenes are pretty short and uninspiring. All that clicking around seeing repeatable dialogue and scenes for it to not even pay off is frustrating.

On the positive side the game has good renders, a good variety of characters (not all characters will suite everyone) and a pretty good setting and setup for the story.

I ran into only one glitch in my playtime.

You had me at "No Grind"..... Honestly, I love this game. This review is for the .4 version, so I MAY need to update as the story progresses, but I definitely love the no grind aspect. The characters are diverse in size, ethnicity and general personality. The story is "simple" but interesting and keeps me coming back for more. The "newer" renders really show a development of talent and/or adapting style and that's cool to see.
I like how this developer updates. Several hundred renders and there are multiple "events" to witness. Contrast that to other games wherein you might get a claim of 1200 renders and most of them are just an arm moving 3 inches or switching angles of this and that and not really story progression. (Not calling anyone out there. Just saying, this game is different. Every render seems important and relevant.)

Finally a free roam game well done (only man of the house and Cure my A. comes to my mind if u guys know anything else enlighten me plz!)

+proper quest info (absolutley must have for a free roam game imo)
+humor and the renders with that humor are fucking awesome
+very diverse set of girls and alot of kinks
+beautiful renders
+Story quite good for the girls that have a story atm (give us more Jenny!)
+extremer kinks like the trans scene could be skipped and were adressed in a way that it was not shoved in ur face (personally give us more of that blond)

-Jennys questinfo could need some touch ups
-story progression is sometimes a little rough because of the free roam character

(like amy not wanting to fuck u while yoga because of her guilty despite u fucking her dozens of times already, or ur cousin being prude despite running around naked all day or telling jenny that daisey sucked u off eventho that did not yet happen yet)

Amazing game, plz keep it up u have something great going here and I all I can hope for is more story, more kinks and more of that blond chick with a little extra.

I didnt expect much out of this game but i actually ended up liking it.I tried v0.29 and i gotta say that there's plenty of content already.Its not grindy as promised and the story is fine in my book.My only complain is the animations but you can see as you get to the newest update content that those improve.

A great 'Harem' game with erotic situations and great sexe scene. The story is not here the focus point, instead it's more than you meet a lot of different girls, from different ages, siez, etc. and not only 'perfect' and boring bimbos. Amy, for exemple, is so hot, a frustrated milf with so many sexual energy in her !

This game surprised me with it's funny scenes and great dialogue between MC and women. The Sex scenes themselves could use improvement visually and having sound wouldn't hurt but the writing is amazing which in most cases the reverse. I do love the variety of body types. With it's unique setting and role the MC plays makes it one of the more interesting games available.

this game has good graphics with amazing mechanism.
most of the freeroam games needs the schedule of this game.
it has well written. it does not know from anywhere, you are learning from characters.
i hope we will see more of it.

I don't get the high rating for this game. It looks good, but it is so dull. I had to struggle to make it 30 minutes or so. I finally gave up after seeing the wig fall off of a stripper. No, that's not a euphemism. The concept is interesting but the characters aren't . Nothing drew me in. The story telling is strange. The barista started telling me her life story and talking to me like we had know each other for months if not years, even though we had just met.

People seem to like the game, but it does nothing for me.

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is v0.27...

This was a fun jaunt for being primarily a Relationship Grinder... And it's still way early in it's development for having as much content as it does...

The visuals of the characters are a varying mix between many decent looking characters and some others that are slightly over exaggerated, all while coving several body type fetishes... From those looking from petite, to heavy, to highly muscular, to MILF and even GILF, etc... Not all those are my bag, but they add variety... The backdrops are mix of ones I've seen before and some unique ones... The scenes were designed well... Not much in the way of animations, but that isn't always a necessity in these things... Navigation was easy to understand as well as the game mechanics UI...

The script was pretty good with only a few spelling/grammar errors... The plot revolves around a male protagonist who was cheated on, fired from his job, and ends up moving in with his female cousin... You know what that means, yes, there is some incest in this one... The protagonist gets a job by tricking his way into working at an All Female Gym as a personal trainer, as the title suggests... From there it turns into a Relationship Grinder, with the typical Day-Time-Location mechanics... As you progress with each primary characters story line, further scenes and/or events open up... This is where most of the story takes place... And although some things feel a bit out of touch with reality on a handful of occasions, it works well for this VN/Game...

There is plenty of humor, several fetish choices to select from, side characters with no real story (mostly there as filler), and so on... There were a few side selections that don't really do anything and feel like they could really have been left out, as they were pretty much just single shot peeving views, nothing else...
There are elements of Male Domination, Romance, Friendships, and lots of other stuff... And it doesn't always take itself seriously, but not so far as to take away from the story elements or ruin any of the more emotional type moments... Not all choices matter much in the long term, but some matter quit a bit, so just be aware... I'm happy the primary love interest is a more romantic story with lots of sarcastic humor, which makes it kind of feel like a Romantic Comedy, but I'm a sucker for that, so of course I was laughing and smiling and all the other emotions, with that particular story line... The others are done well also...

Being so early into development, there is a lot of content, with room for much more, as we'll hopefully see as this VN/Game develops... There are some repetitive scenes, but that is typical of grinders... Some did kind of feel like they either were not keeping in line with that particular characters story arc... But I hope those will get tweaked and you can ignore them... Such as when the cousins story gets to a certain point where she is comfortable being practically naked around the protagonist, and yet when you try to peek in on her getting changed in the evening, she gets angry at him still.... It's just a couple little moments like that, where the immersion slightly breaks... But for the most part, story continuity is handled really well through most of the character story arcs...

Now do not get me wrong, the grinding elements in this VN/Game are very minor, usually involved with discovering the right times, days, and locations to either kick off the next step in a story arc, or to experience events outside of the story arcs... Nothing like you would find in games with money and stats to worry about, as those do not exist in this one...

Overall, I believe the developers are on the right track with this VN/Game so far, and I expect there will be more characters introduced as development continues... There is just the right amount of intrigue, adventure, perhaps a bit of perving (lol), romance, comedy, etc... Decently written dialogue and monologue, and although it's not a super deep story line, it's deep enough... Feeling meaninful and impactful... Sure, some things are slightly over the top on occasion, but it wasn't so bad... And since not all the characters have story lines, you could technically avoid those and be fine, if they are not your thing... I look forward to seeing how this one develops, and will definitely check back a bit later on, once a bunch more content gets released...

Good game, the character assets are good, the scenarios are hot, I would like to see more Amy events though, can't get enough of her. I'm looking forward to the next update, can't wait to see what direction the dev takes the game next.

Great game, can't wait for more Sophie events. although at times there are instances to get stuck in the game. i hope the animations get fluid overtime like with SS but maybe that's just asking too much still one of the great games i have played so far and constantly checking for updates.

5/10 Not bad .. Not good. in the middle of something I don't understand. What I hate is that there are still the same scenes after 2 weeks. And I don't get a random triger event. Something's wrong. Of course I laughed when a thick wardrobe in my dressing room fell over me. So? I don't want to keep trying. Guess, search, wait. It certainly is not a good work.

All I can really say is oh my god. The story is kind of mediocre, but you don't really go to VN's like this for engrossing story, I am attached to the characters though, especially the red headed MILF, can't wait for the next update.

What I like:
First of all what sets this game apart from every other game I played here (and those are a lot) is that the models look astoshingly realistic - not concerning photorealism, but most games here go for hyper-stylized dolls or just don't care for the most part. This game is refreshingly different in that regard since almost all characters have "visual flaws" making this feel like these are actual women and I think there was much thought given to each character and I really like that.
With that being out of the way this is a reasonably well executed sandbox-game with a built-in hint system on how to progress with each character and lots of kinky stuff to explore.

What I don't like:
I have to be a little nitpicky at this point but the MC behaves pretty much like a rabbit - he can fuck like 10 times a day every day, but his stamina in a single encounter leaves much to be desired imho.

TLDR: To quote myself from this game's thread: "This game (at least so far) is a sweet journey of 'pleasing women in need' without thinking about consequences..."

This game deserves 5 stars just for cousin Sophie character alone. Everything about her was just perfect. Excellent job.
Of course it would be better if there were some scenes for other characters from the gym, too. Especially I thought there would be a threesome with Daisy and her roommate at the dorm instead of a random guy and roommate so we could have a scene with Daisy. That was really disappointing and felt like a wasted opportunity.
Still though, easy 5 stars for the sake of Sophie. She made the game for me.

What a mess of a game...
It really starts bad, the story, rendering everything first 30min of gameplay is just terrible!
After a while it gets better, but there is just a lot of grinding and repetitive gameplay!
The good thing is that there is a lot of variety!
Some models are almost a she-male, some are very feminine and soo cute...
If you like kinky and somehow funny story then try this game!

I personally hate this game thats why I gave it just 2 stars but you may like it and maybe even adore it!

amazing writing and fun over all cant say much but try it and enjoy the ride, the comedic conversations with the cousin are the best i love how realistic and goofy they are i really loved the interactions but felt scenes were rushed not so much the images but the story and plot relating to it, nothing then bam hey cuz hows it going lol otherwise all the storys flowed well and i enjoyed every minute cant wait to check back in a few month/year to see the next chunk of content as i seem to play really fast compared to what others say time wise

I'm going against a rule I set for myself about giving 5 stars but I can't help it here.

Not only is the game pretty well made it also has an incredibly helpful hint system so you know exactly what to do when it comes to progressing each girls story.

There is a girl for pretty much every taste including a hot muscle girl which is right up my alley. Okay, 2 hot muscle girls but ones a Patreon addition which is another reason I rate this so highly.

Some of the scenes and characters are added for Patrons. There are a few scenes just for them and one of those ended up being on my favourite list even though she's not a main girl.

Lastly the banter. The banter between the MC and his cousin is spot on and that spreads to the rest of the game. There is a threesome scene with the MC a friend of the receptionist and another guy and the mockery the MC does against the other guy is amazing.

Normally don't like these open world type games, I stay to VN style games, however there is zero grind here and the UI is good so it's very enjoyable. Also, the girls are all great in their own regard. 10/10 would play again. Also at this point there's a good amount of content
