Photostock photos in free game?

Hi, not sure this is the right place to ask, but still... somebody might know.
Can i use photos with Standard License in my free game?

Look at the license terms for the site you got the images from; they vary wildly depending on the site.

Standard Licence, usually means, standard with respect to the site that the images were uploaded to, so you would have to check what their standards are, and usually it means that the copyright owner reserves all rights, so it may be tricky. But investigate the web site, copy and paste anything you can't make sense and check back here with us and we'll see what we can point out.

If you're talking about an actual stock photo website (like Shutterstock), their usual license will allows this. Some photos will explicitly disallow it (and state that they can only be used for Editorial use, with a checkbox you need to click to confirm).

I use this for most of Love of Magic's backgrounds.

there are a few sites out there that have stock photos on it that are free to use commercially. I generally use those sites to be in the clear and not have to deal with any hassle. Try to see if or have something that you can use.
