I gave this game seven releases, but I have to say I truly do not understand the appeal of this game. It has almost universally 5-star ratings and that boggles my mind.

Briefly, the MC is an author who crashes his car driving on a road late at night and mysteriously becomes trapped in a town in which all male competition has been killed off by the Fog Monster from Lost, but conveniently left behind a few school bus loads of slam pieces. (Why I said "school bus" will be important momentarily.) The MC can't communicate with the outside world and all attempts to leave the town are met with failure. What to do in such a situation? Stick your dick in anything that moves, obvs.

The models are nice and there is a nice variety of girls in the game. Some get names and personalities, others get the label "Girl" and act as little more than open-mouthed fuck dolls.

The animations are generally poor with time delayed photos faded together. They are particularly irritating because they are coded in such a way that it's essentially a few images being rotated for 30-50 iterations. Mouse button mashing ensues as it quickly becomes boring and tedious and it takes a while to click through all the iterations. It's probably one of the worst ways I've ever seen animations coded into a game yet.

I muted the early voice-acting because it was terrible. I have no idea if it's still in the game or not.

There are interesting elements to the story. The game at its best when the focus is on the mystery of why the town seems to be trapped in a bubble and the MC's repeated attempts at escape.

Additionally, one of the women has started a quasi-cult in an effort to maintain civility and stability in the town in the years since the initial event took place. This is a highly fascinating thread that is being woefully under utilized, especially since it has now become obsessed with "procreation" in the latest update. Fuck. Guess I'll be back for 0.8. I hate myself for my weakness in the face of my impregnation fetish.

Here's the main problem with the story - the writing is incredibly juvenile. Most of these women seem to have the minds and dialogue of 15-year-old girls. Most of the dialogue comes off as repetitive, insipid, immature and cringey. They all argue over the MC like children (hence, the school bus reference) and seem to have almost no intelligence or agency of their own. These may be among the worst characters I've seen in any game. The MC is even worse at times as his internal dialogue seems to be a never-ending cycle of trying to decide which girl he wants to have a "relationship" with. Isn't this dude a grown man? Ugh. Like I said, juvenile.

I find myself skimming a lot of the dialogue in order to get the sex scenes because I give zero shits about the characters. The interesting elements of the plot are being squandered in favor of these girl-women arguing over childish things such as who is the Prom Queen at their Town Ball or whether they should have a pillow fight, play Hide-and-Seek, or Truth or Dare during a "sleep over." The Hide-and-Seek scene actually made me audibly groan. This game has hit a new low with that scene.

Since the embarrassing dialogue has robbed the game of any meaningful build-up, this essentially becomes a doll-fucking simulator.

Not recommended.

One of those games for which the inspiration comes from a very obvious source, but the game is still great.
Dialogue is nice and well-written, character models are great and it seems there is a lot to look forward to still in the story.
Definite 5/5 game in my opinion and can't wait for the next update to hit soon!

ok - after checking the walkthrough and playing several scenes of "Pine Falls" i have build up my mind:

1st: EXTREMELY well done animations and renderings are fine
2nd: setup and plot is weird and also sometimes inconsistent (like no phone calls because there is no signal, but recieving SMS with pictures)
3rd: Too many paths which mostly exclude each others - so several playthroughs seems to be needed - several girls and romance/perv path

=> overall thats nothing for me - even the animations are really excellent, its not a game which makes me want to play several times just to see some short different scenes for different girls. So i stopped it playing, but as tastes are different i will put it on my list of games worth to play because of its awesome animations.

Without being able to describe what exactly i am missing, but it feels like there is missing the "special hook" - something which get me caught, something which make me want to have more ... hope you get what i mean.

The story is interesting and fluid, most VN's I've interacted with requires you to understand the context of it to make the correct choices to proceed in the story or be lucky with the women, but that doesn't happen in this VN.
If I'm to nitpick the proof readers didn't do a good job as there are a few misspelled words here and there.

Because it's a work in progress I think it would be better to discuss the tags

3dcg - The scenes are well composed but they suffer from DAZ graining.
animated - Excellent stuff, unfortunately they too suffer from graining.
big ass - Yes, but other asses are normal sized and compared to other games with this tag even the big ass is tiny.
big tits - Yes, same as(s) with the asses.
blackmail - Not entirely sure where this tag would fit, I might have missed something.

Also, the dialogues are well written and interesting.


The only thing that this game is missing in my opinion is some foot fetish. And the whole religion cult is a nice twist and i'd like to see more of it.

Not bad, but too similar to previous Daniel K. games.

I expected something more, something new.

It has it's strong points though there is a decent amount of content, the writing definitely got better since Lancaster Boarding house

The graphical aspect of the game is not amazing but very enjoyable still and has good quality.

Plot:

I love it. It remainds me of "Wayward Pines" buts with some changes and with porn.
I am almost more interested in the mystery than in the girls XD.
Seriously now I am a bit concerned on how it will end and if it will make sense. In that case It would be in the top ones for me for this kind of games.

Characters:

I like the character of this game. But the thing i like the most is the variety.
They are so different, not only physically but the way they thinks and reacts to the situations.

Voice acting:
The first time i played it i had bad connected my headphones and didn´t hear nothing XD.
But i fixed it and i found it was not fully voiced.
But there is at the most important moments or when it helps t get immersed into the story.

PD:I can´t help but remaind of the voice of the characters in "The sims".
To me they seem very similar.
But it´s ok. I liked it more than in the most of games of this type i´ve played, so better than expected .

Gameplay:

In other game i would be angry because of the speed you get the girls to bed. But the plot explains it itself. So many women without a male company for years led them to do everything to keep the only one alive for hers.
The way the girls speak to you seems like there may be problems if you fool around with some girls.
But dispite i don´t know if this would be in the game, there is still the possibility of having a threesome of a bigger group sex scenes based on the thing that you could take advantage of the situation and force some of the girls to share, especially the innocent Mia.
But i think they don´t want to share XD.

PD: Maybe both sisters? Pls DEV XD.

Sex scenes:
They are very good. But in some of them i fell like some things are missing.

EX: When you fuck Millie and Alice, i can see some precum of the MC but it seems too rigid. I think it´s better to keep it in the image before the animation but delete it in the animation.
Another one is to see the realism in how both bodys react to the sex movements. I mean how the butt reacts to your hips hitting it or the pussy.
But i liked it. It have some things too like the sweet in the skin when the sex is getting longer.

This is a visual novel about a man supernaturally trapped in a town with several young and attractive women plus a couple of gross old guys. He tries to unravel the mystery by sticking his dick in everything that's even remotely willing.

Characters: The characterization isn't especially strong, but there's enough variety to tell the girls apart. The renders are excellent and there are a few short animations. The game isn't stingy with the sex scenes either. The main character is slightly more fleshed out than a typical porno VN MC. He's a writer and he's more skeptical of the supernatural than Dana Scully.

Voice acting: The game has it! Unfortunately it's kind of a halfassed implementation where you get the first three words of a dialog and that's it. More like a sound board than actual voiced dialog. IMHO if you can't do full voice acting you probably shouldn't bother.

Gameplay: Well, there isn't any to speak of. This is close to a pure visual novel. You get some choices in the dialog where you might have to answer correctly to unlock a sex scene later, but it's not clear. Each sex scene is preceded by a "have sex yes/no" question so you don't have to bone anybody you don't want to. Thus far there doesn't appear to be any complications from having sex with multiple girls, but given this developer's previous game this may change in a later patch. On the plus side there is no grinding whatsoever.

Sexual elements: PiV sex, female masturbation, lactation, blowjobs, spanking.

Game Duration: About 90 minutes with normal reading speed.

Overall thoughts: This is one I'm going to keep an eye on. I'm interested enough to learn if the MC ever manages to escape the town or figures out what is going on. The fact that it doesn't make you grind for hours to unlock the sex scenes is a big plus. Corruption is a heavily overused element in these games.

An interesting start but...

A typical Daniels K game, with its good and bad points, which are more or less the same than his previous works. It is not a negative comment, it is just to mention that if you liked previous Daniels K works, you will like this one, if you didn't, you might not like this one either.

--- Chara Design - Graphisms :
Daniels K trademark is to make the cutest characters. As exepected, it is still a success in this game, although I did find the characters cuter in the "Lancaster" game. The characters are almost all likeable in their own way.
Mention to Grace, my favourite so far

--- Story-Background :
People who have played MGA and Landcaster are now a bit cautious on that side when playing Daniels K games, as the story is always good and intriguing at the start of the game, and then lose a bit of interest when the game goes on. Pine Falls setup is good, but same problem again, the story lose interest as we progress into it.

--- Animations - Sex scenes :
They are good but now the competition is improving a lot in that aspect, therefore compared to what I have seen in other games, I cannot give full mark. Nevertheless, they are good enough to be rewarding.

--- Gameplay - Contents :
Well it works exactly the same than "Lancaster" game, which means : simple as fuck, few choices there and there, with very little impact so far on the main route. It is a visual novel story more than a game, but it is an assumed choice and I don't mind as long as the story is still interesting and the girls still attractive enough, which is the case at the moment.
I like the intro music, the other soundtracks in game are ok, not great, not bad. The voices addition is good, adds a bit of immersion.

The Dev is quite fast at updating, you don't have to wait long

The renders are overall pretty good, although the posing is sometimes sloppily executed.
On several occasions characters appear like they don't really face (= interact with) each other, which results in a weird feeling of detachment.
There are also renders with floating body parts and clipping objects.
On top of that vehicles - even when parked - have their lights on all the time, which seems kinda lazy.

Animations are for the most part well done (unfortunately we also have to face some dreaded 2 render "animations").

Music and ambient sounds are quite fitting and unobtrusive.
I only recall the "boob slapping scene" to sound out of place.
The voice acting on the other hand is quite annoying, especially since you cannot mute it (there's a volume control for VA in the settings menu, but it doesn't work).

I'm usually not a fan of supernatural stories - and while Pine Falls had me somewhat interested, its story still seems like a weak excuse to throw the MC into a town full of willing girls.

The girls are good-looking and show diverse (yet shallow) personalities.
Kudos to the dev for being courageous to introduce a plump woman (Millie), who - besides her body shape - is actually quite attractive and sweet.

The writing is so-so.
Several misspellings, cringy dialogues and a story that doesn't always make sense (and I'm not talking about the supernatural stuff) - for example:
If the player decides to refuse Alice's advances after she robbed the MC, he keeps on complaining about how he missed an opportunity to get more intimate with her.
Seriously? She just robbed you, dude!
Any person with a minimum of self-respect would keep his distance, but no - our MC acts like it's not a big deal after all.

Pretty solid game. Great set of characters, intriguing story, great sex scenes. What more could you ask for?

Lily is probably the hottest girl of all to me, followed by Grace. I'm looking forward to future updates and learning the cause of their epidemic. Lastly that opening song is very catchy, I can't get it out of my head.

Really enjoyed this story, I have enjoyed everything from this producer. The models are well defined . It is a new story line to me. First of its line for me . very few errors that i noticed,a couple of small typos but well worth the time

Before I say anything I want to say I am a fan of Daniels K's and want to continue to see his content.

I'm was a fan of Pine Falls. The first part started out great. But near the end of part 1 and all through part 2 so far it just feels like there isn't any heart behind the dialogue and it feels rushed. The nice flow of the dialogue has disappeared and all the text just kind of rolls from one thing to the next.

The characters and environments are great and I give them a 10/10 but I have noticed a lot of clipping like shoes sinking into the sidewalk or the car wheels completely clipping through the road and curbs. This is in almost every scene with cars. Especially when they are parked on the side of the road they are completely sunk into the sidewalk. It's completely obvious and sticks out a bit too much.

This game is epic. I really love the game. I'm in love with Alice. She is damn cute. I hope someone make a port of updated version for Android users. Developers previous work was fine but this will be very interesting. I played v0.2 and loved it so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic as per usual from Daniels K. Great renders, great characters with distinct personalities and a fun engaging story, as well as a consistent Update schedule.

If anyone is unfamiliar with Daniels K's work id suggest going back and playing some. "My Girlfriends Amnesia" is a little dated but is still outstanding as well as recently getting a standalone DLC, His previous work "Lancaster Boarding House" is also fantastic.

You cant really ask for more from this Developer and i would highly suggest becoming a Patron.

My review is based on the 0.2 version of the game. I'll revisit it down the line if there's something more to be added.

- The renders are good and all the girls look great.
- The MC is a writer who looks like Alan Wake.
- The story and setting is insteresting and you feel invested in it.
- The characters are likeable, despite some of them being cliches.
- The game's universe gives me Silent Hill/Wayward Pines/Alan Wake/Twin Peaks vibes.
- The animations are okay. There is room for imrpovement on that end as I noticed some glitches.
- The music is nothing special.
- The partial voice-over is annoying and unnecessary. I wish it wasn't included.
- There are some text bugs and issues that need to be fixed.

Overall it's a very promising start - 4/5

The Ladies look damn good,Love the Girl Milie,Im not into big buts but love her natural style with all the markings on her stomach,also the animated Postions are great.
also the game play is pretty long with the last update,loved every minute playing the Game.

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is v0.2...

Not a bad VN/Game, and definitely a unique story... There is definitely more than meets the eye with this one...

The visuals of the characters are very good, and the backdrops primarily look unique and well done... The animations are done well, even though there tends to be a slight pause before they begin, and tiny delays in between scene changes during sexual encounters... Some of the position changes seemed rather abrupt, with either very little notice or lead up, in a couple sexual encounters, but still not bad... When some women orgasm, it looks more like they are urinating then what female ejaculate looks like, as it seems to be tinged yellowish, but I understood what it was...

The script is done very well, as I don't really remember running into any spelling or grammar errors... The plot is unique, revolving around a male protagonist who lands in a small town where he becomes trapped... Most of the males, and some women, seem to have vanished in the town over the last few years, and no one seems to be able to escape... From there it is a moderately paced story of the protagonist writer learning about the town and it's inhabitants... There are some strange things going on in the town, and being one of the few younger males in town, he becomes the focus and maybe the target of several of the women...

This VN/Game hits on several different styles of sexual promiscuity with the various women, who each have their own unique personalities... Some are slightly hard to believe, while others feel very genuine... The choices for erotic outcomes, do appear a bit early, with various fetishes being touched on... But due to the circumstances of what is going on, it's not too hard to fathom that after 2-3 years, that many women in one town might have various needs to fulfill, with the protagonist being a commodity of sorts...

Choices do feel like they have varying outcomes, so be selective in what you do both in the short term and probably for the long term...

There is audio effects that sometimes may play a role in pointing out a few key moments of story, but I don't normally play these things with sound on... Since I'm not the only type of person to do that, it might be prudent to perhaps add text for those key moments to clue folks in on some events... A case in point was when the protagonist gets hit in the head... Since I didn't have the sound on, he just went from one scene walking along, to suddenly flat on the ground with no immediate text based clue to key me in on what just happened, until you spacebar to the next scene... In a way, stuff like that breaks the immersion for us folks who mute the sounds... Just a suggestion...

Overall, it's a unique story so far, with various characters to interact with,... Some love interests, some lust interests, and perhaps even a bit of a hardcore interest... Yes, there are some characters that might be slightly over the top, but it wasn't so terrible as to make me stop reading or shake my head "no"... I like not being forced to go down a particular route, and I look forward to seeing how it all plays out... Even with the protagonist being a total perv... It is very early into this VN/Games development, but it's showing plenty of promise... I will definitely check back on this one at a later date...

I think that it's nice that you choosed to show the mc face, the sound effects and voices really add something to the experience.

Maybe you should state it somewhere when your first start the game that it contains audio.
I was like let's see if there's some good soundtracks, if there is any and was happily surprised. I don't do it for every game and I was fortunate enough to put my headset on!

Wouldn't want to let people missing out on the audio.
I really do like Mia... And it's nice how you displayed every girl character so far, we can really see that they are unique and it makes future choices even harder.

The story isn't too obvious, so I have a few ideas on the potential ending which is great, don't want to play a game where you know what's going to happen from the beginning

A really promising game,at this early stage 0.2 it has a more then decent amount of content.Story is very interesting and keeps you coming back for more,the renders are high quality and the animations aren't half bad. Different girls with different personalities and body types which is a huge plus.Definitely a 5/5 stars game if no horrible changes are added to it
