This is not a continuation of the really good story in PE1 but a repeat, with minor variations and the same BBC tropes.
What I and many others wanted to see is how the couple developed a few years later either in the cuckold, sharing or loyal paths. In the NTR it would have been more interesting to have Julia explore her sexuality with many different partners rather than the same old BBC crap, old flame, new flame, doesn't matter, it's still the same tropes.
I was among those who vehemently wanted a continuation but I must say I'm disappointed with the direction it's taking so far, I feel nothing new has been added. Let's hope it changes.

    Pros:
    - Good as a porn game with hot NTR/NTS situations
    - those who are here just for NTR/NTS just like me will enjoy it

    Cons:
    - The continuation feels forced
    - Dull when it comes to characters and their development

    Some changes that can improve
    - Need to mention the things of the previous game more (example who the baby belongs to and how other reacted if the baby was not of MC)
    - make characters feel natural rather then forced

    Summary:
-As a porn game if you wanna play to get off or somthing it's worth a play and the dev doesn't disappoint when it comes to giving NTR/NTS situations but the story part is little dull feels forced

Pineapple Express 1 was a really good, top notch, visual novel and I have no reason to believe that PE2 will not be as good or even better. Our heroes, Julia and Peter, return after a 6-year absence only to be caught up in the machinations of Cornell once more. You'd have thought 'once bitten' but there's a lever, Cornell's mum. Apparently the devoted Mum has stayed in touch with Julia and now, as a business woman, makes an offer that is difficult to refuse. Undoubtedly this will lead to another bout of difficult decisions as Peter and Julia board a cruise ship for a 2-week training seminar for new managers. There is a noticeable improvement in the graphics and Julia is as lovely as ever. Now, some reviewers have made much about things that are either irrelevant or that have yet to be revealed. Don't be sucked in by someone who's being critical to show how smart they are. It's only too easy for smart arses to drive developers out of the game and by doing so we all lose. Sad Pepper has a solid track record and I for one am looking forward to the next installment.

Review of Pineapple Express 2 [version: 0.1]

First off, I must preface this review and justify my low rating by saying that Pineapple Express 2 is not what you might expect from a sequel in its earnest: instead of continuing the story, and presenting familiar characters in new situations with new challenges, it is instead a retreading of old ground; you will see more of Peter & Julia, but doing the same things they've done in the original game. Unfortunately nothing more, disappointingly nothing less.

Now, with that out of the way, I can talk about the game's failings in detail:
    • The game takes place 6 years after the original, yet the characters have not been aged up a day.
    • Peter & Julia are parents (not canonically, but on most paths), yet the fact that they have a child will not play any part in their relationship going forward - the child might as well not exist on any path.
      • On one path in particular, the child itself can be mixed-race (indicating that Cornell is the biological father), yet it also has no bearing or consequence to the story going forward. The marriage plays out the same on all paths, no bumps in the road whatsoever...
    • Cornell is back! But not really, as he is written off soon after meeting him. Now, to be fair, this may not be a permanent decision, though the writing strongly indicates it is.
      • Bonus points deducted for not having any special interaction for the path on which the couple's daughter is biologically his.
    • Cornell has been replaced with another black man - his cousin Simon -because...
    • Apparently, for 6 years, Julia and Peter have been having great monogamous sex - despite Julia becoming a total nymphomaniac (or strongly into cuckolding) by the end of the original. No mention of any extra-marital activities.
All in all, Pineapple Express 2 is just more of the same - with a laughably bad attempt to connect the story to the original. If you simply wanted more of Julia and didn't care for story whatsoever, this is your game (why are you even playing AVNs in the first place, then?). However, if you've come here hoping to see your favourite couple in new situations and sexcapades, then you will be sorely disappointed - the enviroment may have changed, but the show is the exact same. I have no doubt playing PE2 will feel like playing PE1, just in different rooms of the house...

Beautiful and impressive renders but the female characters personalities are terribly annoying. There are no choices like "shut up bitch!". Uninteresting / unoriginal main story so far.
Will the MC be a submissive without backbone? ...

I'm rating with the first release only but a lot of things make me confident with my vote.
This is a sequel but playing the first part is not needed to follow the story. It helps to improve the immersion, though.
From the beginning you can see the different path Sharing, Cuckold, cheating, Open relation and vanilla. The same path you had in the first path and this is a big point since this isn't a short game but neither a big game, so playing the different path is not boring like in big games.
The scenes are renders are perfect for me. FMC is excellent, because is not the perfect stereotype of beauty but is gorgeous, pretty hot and her face doesn't look slutty, more like some innocence. This is another extra point in the NTR scenes.
The dev is totally trustful. Made 5/7 games all finished and all great games.
And the story is not like a Dostoevsky's book but I wasn't expecting it neither.
    Looking forward for new releases.
