As I said in the above comment, 0.10 has been out for the patreons for quite a while, it's a minor update and very light on content as the dev posted(mostly technical improvements)Almost 4 months since the last update with decent content.. let's hope it will be worth it :\
Yeah, all of the last couple updates are just some minor tech changes without any new stuff and he even repeated stuffAs I said in the above comment, 0.10 has been out for the patreons for quite a while, it's a minor update and very light on content as the dev posted(mostly technical improvements)
"Decent content" will be public next year and not anytime soon
Sometimes they are greedy, but I'm willing to bet it's because 90% of the devs are terrible at project management and have no idea how to actually finish a project without guidance. Why do I always get the feeling these people purposely slow their game development down to keep making money by not fishing the game? Its like with Bones Tales, why work on the game if you get paid a couple grands each months anyway, regardless of the update? People seemingly don`t unsubscribe on Patreon or Subscribestar even if you don`t bring any new content for years like with Bones Tales. Its an infinite money glitch for these developers.
Interesting. My gall was entirely removed a few yrs ago and I didn't had to change my diet at all.Reminds me of my mom who had gallstone removal surgery around 3-4 years ago. Ever since she's been on a very strict diet. Can't eat anything spicy, or too savory, without risking the chance of her throwing up everything she ate. My mom never had the greatest eating habits but its still unfortunate how semi-bland her diet has to be for the most part.
In any event, I wish a speedy recovery for the creator.
Good coders should be making over $100 an hour, so if he's pulling in 4k a month that equates to 40 hours . So I doubt is is a full time gig.Sometimes they are greedy, but I'm willing to bet it's because 90% of the devs are terrible at project management and have no idea how to actually finish a project without guidance.
The solution would be to hire someone who could, but ego comes into play then.
Just ignore these overbearing blokes. They're not worth any attention. You doing good man and a lot of people really like what you're doing.Good thing I'm not a good coder, then.
But you raise a point to consider...: I'm doing this full-time, for about $25 per hour assuming I'm pushing 40 hours/week (it's actually more). And I code (to the best of my ability), animate, write, design the mechanics, those $25/hour are taxable, and a percentage goes to Naikal, my artist partner. In the end, I'm probably making around $15/hour. That's pretty close to what a domestic helper makes in my country.
So, I'm unable to understand the bitterness of some people here. I'm barely over the survival level, making a game nobody has had the balls to try making. Everyone agrees that it has the potential to become an incredible amateur game, but some can only focus on my perceived performance, assuming that this is just a side gig I do on the weekends to make some spare money, or even not putting any effort while I "milk the fools".
It's not about trolling, it's not about hate. It's about envy. Pure and simple. They think they could do better than me "if only they took the time", and can't accept the idea of someone whom they consider their equal at best, or even below them, having some degree of success and admiration from other people who obviously don't know better. Only they can see "the truth".
Well, if that's what they've chosen to believe, so be it. This is the last time I refer to them.
From now on, my approach will be to use the Ignore feature of this website with any user who accuses me of running a scam, or think they could do better only if they wanted, or take their criticism to a personal level. They can endlessly chat among themselves and translate their RL frustration to a post in an Internet forum. I couldn't care less.
For the rest of you, I'll hang out around here a bit. It's good for the project to communicate with prospective supporters, and I won't be evicted from my own thread by people with too much time on their hands.
I'd still recommend signing up to my Discord server if you need technical assistance, have a gameplay question, or just prefer a more dynamic mode of conversation. But if you have something to say about the game, that is actually about the game and not me, your comments will be appreciated.
Thanks.
P.S.: Here's something sweet to counter the bitterness...

This is irrelevant to the ability of actually delivering a product... most devs on here just lack the ability to see something through to finish. That said, some are just greedy or both.Good coders should be making over $100 an hour, so if he's pulling in 4k a month that equates to 40 hours . So I doubt is is a full time gig.
Finally, some good steamy content! I hope it changes the perception of people who think there is no 'action' in the game yet. Even though it's going to be a while before the public can play 0.11 (might even be next year in 2024) I'm just happy that there is something worthwhile to look forward toGood thing I'm not a good coder, then.....
Yeah! They're revamping the tag system to add a lot more tags - https://f95zone.to/sam/planned_tags-v2.htmlAlso, I think they've added a lot recently?
Sounds like you just need more experience then. Keep at it ...Good thing I'm not a good coder, then.
Would you pay more for the dev to pay their paid project manager to actually be paid? The solution would be to hire someone who could, but ego comes into play then.
The latter is correct. Most adult/porn games don't make anywhere near 200K per year so these new changes wouldn't apply in any case. Also we don't "install" games at all, we simply unzip and double click on the exe to start playing so unity's runtime isn't involvedI wonder how UNITY wanting to charge devs per installation of the games will affect projects like this.
Or is that the reason for the revenue threshold, so poor indy devs need never worry of making enough revenue to be charged by UNITY?
Unity's runtime is included in the archive. That's what Unity means by "install": any copy of their engine that is run. Unity games connect to the Internet to tell Unity and the game developer about what game you're playing. That telemetry data is what Unity plans to use to estimate the number of installs and bill developers. Also we don't "install" games at all, we simply unzip and double click on the exe to start playing so unity's runtime isn't involved
