People who want a pirate game complaining about other people paying for the game. People who pay for the game complaining about pirates on a forum that pirates games. It's nice seeing people are getting offended on the others behalf

Nobody complains about people paying for it, we just don't get it. That the people who pay for it complain that the people who don't want to pay for it want to play it too, ok. but who put it in this forum, it was the developer himself. he shouldn't have done it, so no complaining about that either. everyone knows how it works here.
Especially since constructive criticism is not an insult, but this is only received by people who want to take it that way, we can't help it either. and just to anticipate, there are also trolls everywhere, but if you ignore them, they disappear very quickly because they just want attention.

This right here is the reason I cut my support for this game a few months ago.
His Discord sadly is incredibly toxic and it's slowly getting into the head of the main dev (understandable if you have to babysit a bunch of entitled aholes all day long).
I really wish the dev all the best and maybe I'll support him again in a few years when this is nearly finished, we'll see...

There is no toxicity on Discord. People literally just shit post and share memes, porn and talk about game progress and other games.

You could just say you don't want to pay for the game (this is a piracy site after all, no one cares) but don't act like there's some great transgression that has been thrust upon you keeping you from supporting the DEV.

What's an example of the toxicity? Not being facetious or rhetorical, I just literally haven't seen it happen. Anyone feel free to DM me a Discord link to such posts I'm genuinely curious.

Let me pare down SpoicySauces change list since the complaints are essentially about the lack of attention to content, not the lack of "work" being done.

These are the content updates to 0.8.

- Two new sub-locations in the Restaurant (Back Room and Office).
- Start of new Boss event chain after doing seriously BAD at work.
- Mall location, with two initial stores to buy clothes and shoes.
- Introductory scene to the mall with Kayla.
- Start of new Kayla event chain in the evening.
- Kayla progression event (drawing).

Free roam is not content. A tutorial day is not content. Hiding a dialogue panel is not content. Internal changes to the engine are not content. Being able to log for debugging is not content. A frame limiter is not content.

Everything else listed is either fixed or changed, not new content.

It's been over 9 months since the last release and nearly a year since the last update that contained anything remotely close to sexual content.

And "oh btw..." there probably won't be content in the near future. The dev has been pretty transparant on his trello board on what he was and is working on. I haven't seen a "Jenny gets (insert actual sexual act here)" animation being worked on there ever unless something has changed drastically recently.

Was hoping people would post that there was a surprise in V.08 that he did work on it. But since not, it proves the dev is just honest on what he is working on...which is a "slow corruption to almost sexual but not really and may not ever happen but you never know, maybe in the future game".

Is that a category yet here?

The original point being, It's not toxic per say, just arrogance about how they've spent money on the project and so they are so much better than the rest of us.
Not all of em, I'll concede, but things turn bad when we dare to mention the "time worked/content put out" ratio on this thread, even though its been well documented.

It just seems that every time the discussion goes down a road that dares to point out the dev's flaws, insults are thrown around, and 9/10 times it's one of the "satisfied and long term supporters" who start it.
Of course, coming onto the Internet and expecting insults should be the default state of mind - but when we ask "WHY are you satisfied" these people start foaming at the mouth and can't answer, so we are left to assume it's all because they've spent more than they would on a AAA game and gotten 10mins of gameplay for it.

I'll leave it there, no sense riling up anyone any further as you've all been terribly polite (excluding example), just wanted to steer the conversation back to the actual point trying to be made.

I'm in Abelius' discord and based on some of the stuff I see there I think he's still laying down the foundations for a solid game, like imagine a really big uphill right? Going up an all that sh and I think he's nearing the tip of that, once over that bump it's gonna be a really fast downhill yknow, if that makes sense. Anyways, if you guys play Accidental Woman then you should know the shit show that game has become, it's got everything, but it's all poorly executed, or something, but yea, idk, just move on if you dont like what's going on and look for something else

Some have been blue balled for a whole year, by the dev, personally, and he isn’t a sexy dominatrix which makes it worse. So please understand people’s frustration, which might be sexual, which also makes it worse.

Refrain from insulting just because people have complaints about free content. There is a public release and every point noted here regarding progression are actual facts. Stfu just because your a supporter who is a dmb sht paying for almost no content. I am a supporter myself and was seriously misled by the so called 'Content update 0.8' just to see his posts on 0.8 saying 'This is not a content update'

Do you understand what making do on promises means? Wth do you (Robberbaron) even understand about business? Do you realise just how costly it is for people from non developed countries to subscribe to BS like this just to wait for years to get content? Stop enabling and blind supporting unethical practice. You have ZERO proof as to these 'mountain of bug fixes' etc. As a software dev myself, content is the biggest concern. Bug fixes are just repeated testing which should be done at a fast pace wrt the amount of money flowing into his account.
If this is not an example of how toxic a mentality subscribers have on his account, dunno what is.

Yea, I re subscribed only because I want to believe the dev has got a handle on what could be called a foundation for quick future content... but look at the updates provided, suddenly it flatlined again on may 10 with no update on atleast some response saying he's working on <add wip info> etc.

I found it kinda underwhelming in the end though. I hope this game turns out much better.

Btw I have just read this dev's subscribestar page and it seems he was in a difficult financial situation and is now earning more than 5k a month out of 3.6k needed. I hope he's grateful about that and give it back to his supporters.

Wow this thread is a shitshow.

I stopped supporting the game a while ago after it became obvious that this will take a little longer than expected.
But I still wish the dev the best and hope that he finishes it.
It's a nice work in progress, I just wish progress went much much faster.

Still checking this thread once every other month to see what's new.
