If Abelius hired out the art to someone else, then it could be a matter of "my artist finished the art for this area; I should probably write some content for it so I can add it to the game". Though I haven't been tracking development for a while, but sometimes that's why content creators do what they do because there's a matter of trying to be efficient with content as much as possible by continually keeping your team members paid and making sure none of them are left idle.

I guess so, but it seems he does everything himself. At least that's what he keeps saying, so it seems rather dumb to branch out so much when you know it's only you working on the project.

When it comes to the art stuff, including animations, I think it would be smarter to show it on their patreon and stuff and be like "My artist is doing some good crap, have a preview!" then they show us a little of it. That's assuming they were paid already. But making an entire area for one scene random scene out of nowhere seems a waste of time. I'm not in a hurry about anything, I have enough patience. I rather wait for a big batch of content than one minor scene and some text.

Well i foresee an "Abandoned" tag in less than 1-2 years when every other waitress and massage parlor game are miles away in terms of content and if not all but 80-90% of the people that are paying him cut him off or switch to support those games.
And if we are talking about games that make more progress in 4 years we can also take https://f95zone.to/threads/karryns-prison-v1-3-0-90-full-dlcs-remtairy.33777/ (its not like you don't know about her) for example they started it around 2019 with good amount of content (working on 1 other game) and have a finished product in 3-4 years and from then on either they or fans keep adding stuff.
I think the only reason this game still don't have "Abandoned" tag slapped on it is because there are still people willing to pay for literally nothing (well it's their money who am i to tell them what to do with them) but as soon as the tap dry out we will see it and in few months a new shell of a game will pop up and well it will be "here we go again" business as usual.

Boy those two games are awesome. If Karryn had a normal body instead of how she is it would probably be on my top five. I do understand people have their taste though. It's still an awesome one.

The other one shows some promise. I'm very patient so I just hope they don't end up going crazy. Funny enough, their first version already has more than enough to kick Pizza Hot's ass right now. Let's hope they head in the right direction.

Also this game Dilmur is amazing. One of my favorites. Has way more content even when it branched out. Also, the art is great. So if anyone wants to play something else I recommend this one too. It's not done but the content available will definitely please for now. Hoping they maintain the quality.

Dilmur stopped its content and it never finished. Aside it was an rpgm. No real rendering. It was a good game. But it was a scam. hook line and sink. Instead of completing an ablum. Why do they do this scam. If it hit steam is it more pofitable than stringing people along? Who knows and who cares. But what has drawn my debate is the fact it isn't complete and cannot be rated. 0. Not finished abandoned nets a 0.

I have the game confused hence I linked it to other rpgms, and named it as an rpgm. It was very similar to the others I named. But the name similar might be wrong. Apology.

The game I am thinking of similar named to Dilmur is about a hacker girl in a post world doing some sleuthing and daily grind of jobs etc around a city and being corrupted in a rpgm format. Hence Selena OHA and Detective Girl. Neither it or Selena finished.

As far as pizza hot, it's about a lesbian, it isn't lewd enough for anybody else except people playing dress up with dolls.

Drinking beer with them increases their satisfaction bar which in turn gets you a better tip, it's useful in the way that you don't have to suffer through the godawful minigame clicking on specific speech bubbles within 0.5 seconds. Other than that it doesn't unlock anything aside from a drunk looking MC and a slightly slower walking speed, both of which can be easily fixed by vomiting in the toilet. If you're drunk enough the customer thinks about asking you to show your boobs, but that gets rejected automatically or is greyed out and not available either way.
- Not really sure, but if it's anything like other games i'd say the skimpier the outfit, the better the tips. I generally wear the uniform.
- Nothing aside from bringing home lower tips i believe, though there is a punishment for passing out on the job after drinking too much beer (two full cans) after the third time it happens.

I just tried this out for the first time recently and it wasn't bad but I don't get what the fuck this specific engine is. I know in this is made in Unity but before that there were others using the exact same art style, mechanics, etc that I don't recall being Unity. Same sideways view, same exact shop yo work in and the older ones had you get fucked if you drank too much with the customers. Literally the same thing, just jankier and slightly less content.
It's a really clumsy engine, IMO. It would take a lot of work to make this not-janky.

The concept is fine and typical adult VN stuff. A hot, naive girl moves to the city and has to cope with everyone trying to fuck her. That's fine and it's even done sorta well here. She has the obligatory lesbian friend, the landlord that will take advantage of her, customers that want to fuck her and all that. All that is fine.

What isn't fine is the engine stuffed into Unity. The art style is already very limiting and in this 2D world they're also trying to polish a turd into a beautiful mirror and I don't see that happening here.
I encountered too many bugs and freezes to count. You can only save at her apartment while not "on a quest" but almost everything is labeled as a quest. So if you go to work and walk back and forth for literally 20 mins, just to have the game crash/freeze on you, you have to replay that entire work day. It's crazy.

This dev would be better off making the same story in Renpy or RPGM. They could likely learn Python and how to use Daz quicker than the time it will take to turn this into a bug-free experience to ever complete.
Though, based on comments above it seems they don't release often so completing it is likely not a real priority.
