I've never had it crash the game, it just immediately returns to 25 upon loading the savegame. Now, if we could just open the game project in Unity ourselves and just edit it that way...

Damnn... this guy is getting around 6000 dollars a month by his subscribers. Why are people even doing this... it just feeds this behavior and also might encourage other devs to do similar things

Most other devs are already beyond this point.
Abelius and his game is no exception, but this behaviour has become rather common practice.
To be fair, and in his defense, Abelius just reached the point of "too much income to work at all" just recently.
He's been doing "only" like 2000 - 2500$ for most of the time.
It was his fabulous "Christmas special", that increased subscribers lately.

Zorlun, dev of 'Project Myriam,' takes his work extremely seriously and is almost finished. The visual novel has 2.2k likes, a score of 4.4/5 from 235 reviews... but has only 422 paid members on its Patreon compared with this shitstain dev that has 650+ paid members. I don't know what kind of black magic Abelius is doing, but it's luring a lot of people to his sorry ass scam machine.

The art and the concept of the game lures people in. There isn't any game like this. So Abelius , every now and then posts a note or a useless update to keep people interested. Yeah, I know for 5 years, somehow it works. This world is full of mystery
Visual novels are good, some of them. But this thread is a living proof, people would be happy to have another Insexcity with good art and a good story. Simple as that 2D scroller, with cute girl that does her things. We would be happy to have the opposite as well, where the girl goes around and corrupts anyone she can find ))
