VN - Ren'Py - Play with My Wife [Ch. 4] [EvilKrakenLagoon]

Sorry for the bad rating but I need to vent a little.

Art is ok, although there are a lot of inconsistencies. Some if not most of the pictures don't match the dialogues.
Choices don't matter at all or at least that's how it feels like.
Also a lot of dialogue inconsistencies. You tell her you would take her to diner, you book a restaurant, you would get her from work but somehow you can choose a dress. Then you don't actually pick her up, she wears a different dress, somehow she ends up somewhere and the booked restaurant doesn't matter. And of course you're stuck in traffic - again. And that's only one among others.
It feels like the story was written by AI and the dev put minimal effort if any at all. To be fair I haven't finished playing all the available content yet but a lot of things don't really make sense in the story, again lots of inconsistencies.
Well i didn't mean to discourage the dev or anything but as it is, it's bad. But that's only my own personal opinion.

Typical wife phone game but this ones long on story and short on action.

AI generated pictures, no gifs or animations, which are OK, but there aren't many and those that are there are pretty boring. I played an hour and got totally bored.

The story is in decent English, but it really is long-winded in bits you don't care about; and short in the stuff that's interesting. There are choices in Sub/Dom categories, but many of them feel forced and arbitrary, and then you don't get any pictures of the action you just chose, which really makes them a waste of time.

One of those that if you like stories over everything, you might find it OK, otherwise steer clear.

Bland art, bland story, bland gameplay.

Art:

The characters often look plastic reflecting light unnaturally. The black(?) guy just looks like a bald white guy with really dark skin. That alone would have been mid for me but add to it that the characters all look very stiff. So many of her pictures her arms are straight down on her side, and they have minimal facial expressions.

Story:

There's no real build up or explanation. You all but jump scene to scene at record speed. The only story is you deciding to share your wife. That's it. Everything else is just scene flavoring.

Gameplay:

The choices that you get often score points in a counter intuitive way. At one point you tell her to take control of the date and you gain a domination point. Has me wondering who these points counted for. Then later you tell her to her to let her date lead, and you gain a domination point. Tell her to go without panties on a date, no points. Like wtf is the standard. There are tons of examples where I was left scratching my head.

Then the sheer number of questions. Like she can't do a thing on a date without texting you every. single. action.

Finally, the choices are always worded in the third person. Tell her not to... instead of just Hey, don't do that. It makes you feel like there is a middleman sending the texts on your behalf the whole time.

I like the premise, but there is too much jank to overlook.

Nothing new, nothing original, nothing more than average....
No animations.
Art is on average (AI generation is not bad, nor good neither).
Paths are weirdly defined... I found them absolutely unconsistent.

I Like this kind of NTS game were you "own" the girl and she is submissive and will do everything you ask, even teasing or going further with other guys until where you command her.

For a NTS phone VN for now it has:
- good writing
- good tension
- good pacing
