How does Swinging in this game work?

I played for a bit, and the English is pretty garbled. Is English the original language of the script? While the grammar itself is unusual and often just plain wrong, the main issue is that the dialogue doesn't flow logically and coherently. Even within a given line, we have non-sequiturs that don't seem to fit what the character is trying to say, dissonant ideas just erupting spontaneously as if from a disordered mind. It's like the author was trying to convey a personality, but failed to imagine how someone with such a personality would actually communicate. The result is superficially similar to machine translation (it's difficult to follow), but it also has a distinct touch of human error ("Ignore here" instead of "Ignore her") that makes me think it's not a machine translation, and instead is the product of someone whose command of English is insufficient to communicate their ideas.

Illustrating this, I got to the first combat and I have no idea why I'm fighting. Two characters were talking and suddenly a fight just... happens, even though nothing was said that was remotely confrontational.

The game has a weird progression mechanic. Every character can be a protagonist or enemy, but if you lose as the protagonist it's game over. Before each combat, you're presented with a dialog choice. Depending on the outcome, the character is awarded 1-3 stat points at the end of the combat. In a game where you never know what character you'll be next, it's not clear to me how this is supposed to be played; I ended my first playthrough in a Elf vs. Mystic ("faerie") fight that was unwinnable since the enemy could 1-shot me. I had pumped the Mystic's Intelligence, so it's possible that's why she did so much damage, but the system is so bizarre and unintuitive that it's not actually clear how enemy strength is determined (i.e., enemy HP doesn't seem to be calculated the same way the player's is). Intelligence alone *shouldn't* influence the damage of regular attacks, which is all that enemies do.

Finished the game in less than 5 minutes, I felt like I want my money back even though I didn't buy it. The gameplay is simple and the CGs are not that impressive tbh.

Unfortunately there is not. We depend on the "kindness" of the devs who make the games. Less than 10% of devs who use unity make them with android users in mind.
