Sometimes the official download link has a newer version of the game but it's pretty dumb sharing it since once the dev knows that it was leaked they will swap the password or even block that way of sharing permanently, which is why it's always a good idea to download the game then reupload it somewhere before sharing the new mirror download link with the community.

it doesnt have apk zip file its just apk by itself. hope this helps

TY for this. I kept trying the different 'android' links and they kept being apk.zips with no EXE files to actually run the game.

Yeah, speaking as someone who has a "game" on Itch, it's pretty easy to tell when a bunch of new players pop up via a link from another site. Suddenly seeing F95, Kemono, etc. pop up in the list of sites people are accessing the game from (when it was probably just Patreon before) would be a huge, obvious sign that the password leaked.
