Some father - daughter games can be pretty cringe in this respect. In F-D games, I prefer the daughter to be the aggressive one. But the same logic applies: the father should see it coming and if he doesn't stop it, he's complicit.

I agree. This is how I wanted to write it for my game. The mom is in a position of power and experienced, and she plants the seeds of corruption in her son.

On the flip side, I also see the allure of a wicked and deviant son corrupting his innocent mother.

given that in games you can often personalize the name of the protagonist and I admit that I often put my own, I really like that it is the son who makes the first move, perhaps making everything more complicated so as to be more rewarding once the goal has been achieved , and not an easily achievable result that takes away the taste (at least as far as I'm concerned)
