[Poll] What is the most compelling kind of protagonist when it comes to porn games?

This is 5000% the title. But for clarity's sake, I was very curious what you guys thought of protagonists and their motivations and if it even matters to you in porn games. What type of protagonist do you like? What type of protagonists do you NOT like?

I know from reading other threads that people often leave notes saying, ''be aware, this is one of those creepy little weirdo games where he's a total pervert, if you don't like that, stay away,'' but then those games hit the top of the charts! Likewise, you've got games out there that are total-romantic with an absolute chad as the main character, and they also do well!

Who, to you, is the ideal porn-game candidate?

It depends on the genre. For harem games, I prefer a chad. In NTR games, I want to see spineless and pathetic MCs.

Four is the worst option. On the most surface level, inscrutable choices means making in-game choice becomes harder. Unreliable narrators at the very least withold information, which is at least somewhat adversarial to the player. It makes relating much harder. Not surprised by here either.

It's very true that the third option can have internal narration! I simply offered the option without to diversity it from the other answers. Out of curiosity, what answers would you recommend?

I voted 3, if only because I assume this is for male MC and my preference is just towards a MC that is aligned and focused on corrupting the female characters. Not on blowing his load, not on peeking in the shower or copping a feel, not on romance or affection, just corruption and control. And recently I found this one to be a great example.

I like female protag hesistant to act and faced to do hard choices. Games focused on female protag and her internal conflict seems to me way more interested than others.

Internal monologue and self-questioning need to be kept low for me, even if it's an NTR game(Tho reaction from them over full silence is preferable). I don't care about how they feel or their traumatic past, they are an accessory, and the main event is always the females for me.

For Female MC games, I like resistance and eventual corruption but dislike the bimbofication where they lose their sanity. Strong, but malleable types that will still keep their personality.
