[Poll] Would you play a game that exclusilvely or mainly consists of lesbian content?

Hello!

I am currently working on plot for a lesbian themed game. The idea is to have a female MC that travels in search of adventures and fights various enemies (mostly females) and depending on the outcome of her battles, she either gets to fuck them or gets fucked herself. There will be consensual sex and romance too.

The game will be set in an Amazon kingdom, hence the lesbian theme. It will also include orcs, minotaurs, catgirls, elves etc. so there will be some non-human M/F, tentacle, futa etc. along with all the girl-on-girl content. No human M/F though.

I can't promise anything just yet, I only wanted to see if such a game would be feasible since most of the games around here, at least the ones I've seen, don't seem to include a ton of lesbian content. What are your thoughts on this? Do let me know in the comments!

Considering that people would like anything, and I mean, anything, as long it's written well, doesn't rely on cliches, doesn't have generic power fantasy like good vs evil themes, no one will mind and will positively view it in the end. Like a good story, good gameplay, and good attentions to detail and so on, obviously you don't have to do all that if you are not good at it, but it's a nice thing to do to make sure your product sticks to people's minds including me.

Though, depending on certain "viewers", they might be off-putted by adding anything else, like let's say a gay product that has females as secondary characters, while others would like having none of them at all, or a yuri product with males as secondary characters, while again, others would prefer not having them at all. It's a fairly difficult thing because there's supporters of this and that, but you can at very least ensure that people won't make such statements by warning them that it will have that or won't have it at all. A balance of both(or simply having both)would turn this into a general product rather than love of either genders, but it has its own share of fans.

Most works are traditional and of course, appealing to said people, but some clearly want a mixture of tradition and not so normal, while others are appealed only by not normal things. But to me execution matters, topics be damned, not how many ideas are in.

I'll see what it turns out, but considering my nature, let others say before I can possibly do. Just do it properly and I won't have a bone and others would be grateful.

As long as it has themes I want to see (corruption, humiliation, domination) and some kind of meaningful gameplay systems, being lesbian-only would only be a relatively slight handicap to me. And adding some masculine monsters would make it more appealing. Though I'm not a fan of futa, tentacles, romance, or consensual without corruption/mindbreak-type themes.

I think most people enjoy lesbian content.
The division in opinions here may actually come from the male protagonist vs female protagonist argument. From what I've seen, the community is pretty evenly split. I personally never play games with a female protagonist because I want to put myself in the shoes of the main character. It's hard to become immersed when I play someone that I can't relate with.

Lesbian content makes up a huuuuuuuuuuge chunk of the porn industry's income and it's nearly equally as popular in porn games as well.

Not going to be something that absolutely everyone likes since not everyone is into lesbians, but the genre is popular enough. (Personally I voted no, but only because I've never had any interest in lesbians or lesbian scenes in porn/adult games. However, I'm in a veeeeery small subset of hetero-guys that feel that way.)

As long as you handle the art, story, gameplay, and sexual interactions decently you should be able to find plenty of folks willing to try it out.

I think there is a market for it. Personally adding futa to the mix gives you the developer options that would normally require a guy. Tentacles are a classic and obvious choice and besides a few pit falls in not using enough tentacles on a girl are hard to get wrong. Again they also open up options that normally would require a guy.

I think just the general quality of work is going to be the deciding factor for most people. For my own two cents I would like to see more lesbian incest either Sister/Sister or Mother/Daughter as that kind of pairing is uncommon in a lot of games. Also if you are doing adventure games then there is a opportunity to add bestiality yet another uncommon genre in most games.

Personally, if I found a GOOD lesbian game, that could even become one of my fav adult VNs ever. I think there's a huge market, the only problem is that often lesbian games are quite boring. I'd avoid indulging excessively on sentimental affairs and thinking more about sex and stuff, possibly with a lot of BDSM elements. Most players are male so have low to no interest in playing anything sentimental with lesbians only, but there must be a niche that enjoys that, too.

Yeah, that would be the core theme of the game aka lesdom. Basically, whenever MC loses to any non-common opponent, she gets humiliated and dominated and vice versa in case of victory. Defeats will often lead to bad ends as well in most of these cases for more hardcore stuff.

Well I am personally not a fan of futa either But it would bring some diversity and help attract more people. If I do actually go ahead with this idea, I'd most likely keep an option to let the players switch futa scenes into strapon scenes and vice versa.

I never heard of that game but it does look like it has too much text from the pictures they've shown, I definitely won't do that lol
