Supposedly flutter mare was meant as just a quick side project before returning to this but that sort of thing is normally not a very good sign anyway. I hope this game actually gets finished as I think it's got alot of promise.

A dev can get burned out of a project if they work so exclusively on it without rest. Having a quick side project is the best way to fight burnout.
